Nice bro! I think you just have a bad battery in your Bose S1 Pro bro! I use mine every weekend. I use it for 1 hour at the ceremony, playing music for guest arrival, then music for the ceremony, then I transfer it to the patio at the reception hall and send a wireless signal to it during Cocktail Hour, Dinner and dancing. All in all, that thing is running for a solid 7 hours no problems! Get Bose to send you a replacement battery bro!
@@danielpohl9687 Nice! 4 wow! I have two and usually utilize the Alto Stealth Pro Wireless or the new Sennheiser XWS-D to wirelessly transmit to a patio :)
You absolutely won’t be sorry to rock those 44g2’s. I’ve been using them all season and they are an absolute ground breaker of a system for me. They’ve done 70 weddings this year and have blown me away. We play loads of bass heavy music and there was nothing that could fit the Bill in a sexy column speaker that kicked ass. The wait is over. I’ve got my review video dropping soon. Full season road test review. Love your work.
I just ordered the maui 44g2 system last week with the caster pallets and and covers, i had ordered the evox 12 system i was mad they were on backorder and the maui sound soooo goood, i like how you can get the separate sub modules for cardioid set up
Maui 28 G1 i bought two of them for 1500,00 brand new for the pair. The 28 G2 are 2090 for a pair and the Maui 44 G2 a staggering 5k for a pair. How? Are they that much better?
You might have a bad battery in your S1 Pro. I’ve got 2 & haven’t had an issue with battery, & I also use them at my store & can run a full shift with plenty battery left over. The S1 Pro has a replaceable battery. Might try a new one
Barr whats the biggest difference between the Mackie thump to go and the Behringer B108D ??Because if your going to use it for an hour ow 2 i would rather pay alot less and go with Behringer
I know you’re a Dj but you should do radio you have the voice and you’re a good talker. I’m a new subscriber love your channel. Keep up your content very entertaining. 👍🏽
I wanted to like those Mackies and bought a pair for ceremony usage BUT for mic use....they suck! Maxed out volume with Sennheiser G4 and you have to yell into the mic or gain the hell out of the mic way into the + side (QSC I run -6 on the mics).
I was looking at the 44Gs but you can't find any videos on them and they we're at DJX this year. Let up know what size crowd you think they can handle. I'm interested in them. I'm a mobile DJ.
Hello fellow DJ brother, I’m looking to add the Maui 44 G2 to my systems. Do you recommend them. Currently I have the EV 30’s 50’s and Maui 5 go. I’m looking for a powerful and portable column array. I’ve been following you for some time and enjoy your videos. I saw these when they first came out a few years ago in the Anaheim convention center. Just wondering your thoughts from previous gigs.
Totally agree with your thoughts on the JbL and Boses. I bought both to compare this summer and stuck with the JBLs due to battery life. I only got 5 hrs on the first battery cycle on the boses and 11 hrs on the JBLs.
Weird, I’ve got 2 Bose S1s with Sub1s that I use as my main PA and the batteries last forever! I can use one for ceremony, then move it to reception area. I use them on straight battery power and they last 4 hours with battery to spare. I did have to plug in the fifth hour of a 6 hour reception. Music at full volume. Amazing sound quality as well
I looked at the Maui 44s. Didn’t pull the trigger because I had a couple great sounding RCF Sub 795 ASII subwoofers…thought I could just add some really good 10 inch monitors to make a compact set up with probably more punch than those…I add them to my EV Evolve set up instead ;)
I use the Bose S1 pro’s all the time. After an average of 4 hours of use I still have 50% charge. And this is on all 4 of my speakers. I can easily get 3 gigs (cocktail and dinner hours) out of them before I need to charge them. If you are having battery problems it could be the battery. Just call Bose and They’ll send you out a new one. Also, I’m sure you’re doing this but when you charge and store the speaker you have to have the switch on the down position. Not the middle or top position. Very important.
Hi there ! Big up from France... exact. Good quality from Germany. I buy a lot of items from Thomann. I can not wait to see the management of MAUI in real condition :-)

Can't wait for the review on the Maui's. I'm looking for a more compact/portable system. Currently have EV EKX 15P tops and EV EKX 18SP subs. Hopefully the low end on the Maui's hit hard for 15's.
@@djknowledge1234 Man... These things are awesome! For their size and power I really like them. I run them and the 15P tops through a DBX Driverack PX... it does wonders for the sound of your powered speaker set up. I am going to upgrade to the DBX Driverack PA 2 (I already have it, just haven't hooked it up as yet). IMO for the money to performance ratio you can't go wrong with the EV EKX series... if you want to step up... you can opt for the EV ETX series... costs more but you get more. In either case you won't be disappointed.
Those Mackie's look nice, I think I'm more impressed with the Maui's. QUESTION: Could you just use the top column if you don't have the height at a venue on the Maui's? IMO: I would have though to have the caster board on the bottom, even faster to load in and transport if you don't have to remove the board, also so you don't have to tip the subs to attach the caster board (One and Done). I personally really desire a pair of the RCF TT-515A with TT-808AS. I still use a pair of JBL PRX-515 with a pair of JBL PRX-818XLFW.
You should sell me your pair of Mackie SRT15 to make space for those freakin Amazing speakers. I can’t wait to see your next gig log with them Bad Boys!!!

Great product, waiting for your gig test of them
Keep rockin the Great Videos ! I use a Behringer 8" for smaller ceremonies. I will look into the Mackie Thump Line.
Can you ask Mackie if you can review the Mackie SRM V class??
Barr, I have owned Maui 28 G2 the little brother to the 44 for about two years. The sound quality is phenomenal. You will enjoy the speakers
Can the 28 G2 be used as a main system and if so, how big a crowd can you do with 2?
@@DanielG-db9jq I have used it in an event of 100 people and it worked pretty well

Between the maui and bose 16pro which has better bass as I know the bose don't go low
