    Just bought 2 of these for mobile DJing. Looking forward to taking them on the road.

      How's the bass?

      How’d they work for you?!

      Not good

      @@DJUnprotected for my needs they work well, I prefer the sound when they are outdoors but along with a prime go, they do the job well. I’ve ran them with subs as well and they also sound fairly decent although that use case rather takes away the point of them being battery powered.

    You need to enable location services (gps) for the app to 'work' which is obvious an epic fail by itself

    Can play 3 or 4 of these speakers wirelessly at once?

      They’re good for small events. I’ve used the one speaker for crowds up to 50 people. It bumps!

    • @gr1mr3apa15
      @gr1mr3apa15 6 месяцев назад

      Bro they do not bump lol absolutely no bass weight and very harsh highs. If you are using a thump go for crowds of 50 people them you are doing it wrong I’m afraid 😂 need some 15 inch subs for that at least if indoors. Probably more outdoors at a minimum

      @gr1mr3apa15 I really like the way they are built but I settled on 2× Bose S1pro+ out of fear. I always get nervous trying new things. Is it really That bad though?? 🤔 Great review(er), either way☺️

    If you're gonna connect a dj mixer to this do you connect your xlrs to both ch1 & 2 on this speaker?

    • @soulconnexionradio
      @soulconnexionradio Год назад

      Mixer xlrs to channel 1 as a mono output. You would need a 2nd speaker again connected to channel 1on the 2nd speaker for stereo sound.

      I connect RCA (DJ mixer out) to stereo 1/8” cable (stereo input jack) on speaker. Hope that makes sense!

    Anyone have a Bluetooth microphone option to pair with this speaker?

    brother, I got caught up in hard situation and there is a perfect hookah lounge for me to play at. The only thing is the owner won't let djs use house speakers due to possible blow out. I am considering getting 3 thumps to fill the room. Would 2 thumps be sufficient for a 500 Sq ft room? If I need to get 3, would all three be able to link via 1 using xlr and other 2 with link?

      I’ve used one speaker for a social event where 50 people were drinking and talking, I still had headroom. I think 2 speakers would do fine for that sized room. How’d it work out for you?

      @DJUnprotected Appreciate the reply. I ended up with 2x 12 EVs due to time constraint. They are practically the same with plenty of headroom

    Thanks for review considering it for ceremony and coctail and its a better budget fit than everse 8 which i love but at 800 plus not counting bag and accessories the Go is a good fit

    • @DJUnprotected
      @DJUnprotected  Год назад

      I was interested in the everse8 until I saw the price point. EV makes great products but to me, this type of speaker is used as a secondary rig for cocktail hour, booth monitors, and small house parties. I think you have the right thought process. If you get the everse8, please let me know how it is!

    Do this unit come fully charged, or do you plug it into the wall, and it starts charging the internal battery?

  • @DINU_R

    Interested to get this. Does it have AUX 3.5 input too? And does it have to be paired with a SUB for event with 40-50 people?

    • @Tiamonj-djay
      @Tiamonj-djay Год назад

      Nope. 40 -50 people just one of this will be great 👍

    Couple of doubts sir:
    1. Can the xlr thru be used when in Bluetooth?
    2. Can we use the speaker plugged in by battery completely removed

      Non removable battery and distortion at full volume are a turn off for me on that Yorkville

    This will be great for mobile DJing. How would you compare this to the Soundboks? I like the deep base sound of Soundboks.

    • @DJUnprotected
      @DJUnprotected  Год назад

      I haven't used Soundboks. I was impressed with the Thump GO's and usually use it as a single speaker for cocktail hours, small outings, or as a DJ monitor. I never had clients complain so it holds up well!

    Get rid of the reverb when on you tube unless ur playing music.
