@@galvy883 No, it's an S30Z, not a 280ZX. 280ZX is a totally different chassis...S130. The 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z are all S30, but they have slightly different body lines.

That's because the way they race in the show is different from here. There, they race with the mindset of actual race driver, not street racer. They won't block someone that's about to overtake them because it's dangerous, so when they change lane they gotta give a signal first.

I just feel like the live actions of Initial D and Wangan are very not original and don't feel anything like the anime , Like they were directed by American people.
