I believe the 180 kp/h was the mandated top speed along with the max hp of 276hp due to the gentlemen's agreement, hence the max speed of 180 on the dash. Since the top speed was digitally limited, you could easily fix that issue. Ofc, this only goes for stock cars, aftermarket numbers are obviously different, specially with the over-engineered and underpowered engines.
