I don't know how much time had passed. I think I'm watching it 4 or 5th time from 2014. Still this movie has a spark which always hits my heart and brain.. everytime i forgets movie and search like Japanese car movie or Japanese car blackbird movie. This movie just fuel my silent life.
The headers are under the intake, that’s where the twin snails are, but they were hidden underneath the triple carburetors that were on the car, look up the movie car, the director may have gotten a few things wrong in the movie but he actually wanted a live action devil z, the car was made piece for piece from the manga version, the only thing that sucks is the car went missing after the movie was completed, so all we have of the devil z be live action is this movie
1:31:59 this shot brings tears to my eyes because it makes me feel like the spirit of the previous akio was set free and put to rest and he’s looking down at the z from heaven and saying “goodbye my old friend” with a warm smile (sorry if it sounded weird)
Liked the anime. Liked the live action movie. Even though the cars weren't exactly done up the same or they weren't driving their respective cars (for copyright reasons), it was still an awesome watch.
I noticed that the first Z car was a two seater then when re-gotten was a 2+2. The back side windows gave it away. I had 2 240z, 2 seaters. And a Fairlady Z as a 2+2. The 260z was also a 2+2. Again, the shape of the rear side window gives it away. Still a great movie to Z lovers.
Even the 300ZX Akio was driving was different. It should've been a Z31 instead of a Z32 but anyway. I'd take this Live Action remake. A Hollywood version might just botch this.

Nice movie, only thing annoying is. Too much rock music in the background, especially when the actors and actresses are talking, they should've gotten rid of the music in background. Especially rock.... Too much noise... Can barely hear the actors/ actresses talk with such loud rock music on...... Just like in initial D, same thing..... Overall good movie anyways

this movie missees like 50% of the story it tried to recreate, including one of the major charicters who is the original owner/tuner of the Z. he gets an old group of friends to completely remake the Z again. from that wreck. yeah, later on in the series the blackbird is remade out of carbon fibre after a 50KM/h accident. nothing is too ridiculous here,
