Caught on Camera: Driver Convicted for Reckless Behaviour 🚗💨

This footage was sent to Op Snap by a member of the public last year.
The driver of the car failed to see a traffic island up ahead when they carried out a careless and impatient overtaking, causing a near miss with oncoming traffic.
⚖️ Thanks to this footage, the driver was identified and unfortunately for them, due to the standard of their driving, the case went straight to court where they were convicted of driving without due care and attention and driving without an appropriate licence.
ℹ They were issued with fines totalling £1,014 and received eight penalty points.
