Standard company proceedure is to lock yourself in the cab, call police & then your own transport company - then HGV driver would be justified to leave the scene (if he could). The HGV almost certainly had CCTV & if the HGV was at fault the guys in the Merc' wouild have had any damage paid for - instead, they put themselves in the frame for criminal damage, threatening behaviour & obstruction.

I was making this based on when they were new. This W204 facelift costed £30,000-35,000 new. The Mercedes Actros truck costs around £90,000-120,000
