His attempt to bribe you not to publish speaks to his moral compass but also gives some insight into his cost-of-doing-business ethics. It might also indicate how local police are embedded in these types of operations. @@pacman7959 It's not, but most scammers also work legitimately as slave labor to these billion dollar corporations, they scam on the side to make enough money to survive. That is some crazy mental gymnastics you've just pulled off there. You want them to "hack" the local police to do what exactly? It's a corrupt system that these scammers will try to exploit as much as possible, there's only so much that they can do before they break the law themselves and undo their hard work. You clearly don't understand the efforts of these people to stop potential victims falling foul of these scams, and trying to get them their money back. One thing that is clear with most of these scammers is that they are not ashamed of their actions, only crocodile tears when the curtain drops and there's nowhere left to run. The equivalent of a police "investigation" into themselves.
The business is "shut down" but conveniently all of the workers are still out and about, waiting to rejoin the next scam center which will appear next door.
I'm sure the local authorities have many reasons to only halfheartedly pretend that they care about this.
It's disgusting, but I can imagine what life is like in a mostly poor country like this. If I was a poorly paid police officer doing what I can to get by and someone offers you a huge sum of money to go against the law, morals will only get you so far. I don't know how far I'd be willing to go to survive in a life like that.
Them slapping the guard when they finally got access is a pretty clear clue too.
Karl Rock did mention in his video that there's a chance they got lucky because of certain things happening leading up to the raid spooked them and made them extra alert. But the cops did hit the security guard which wasn't needed.
As someone who works in the IT industry, I still find it difficult to believe how vulnerable people are. I’m constantly reminding my older family and friends about these types of scams. Exactly......these scams have been around for almost 20 years......There have been hundreds of 20/20, inside editions, and all those kinds of shows about these scams......It blows my mind that people still fall for this crap. Its crazy to me how someone can turn any webcam into a camera and turn any telephone into a microphone to spy on them
that's one of the reasons why you should be very careful with any webcams linked to your own network.
I suspect that the phones were using voice over ip as I kind of doubt you can hack 'normal' phones.
Anything linked to the internet will be hacked. It's usually a question of 'when' and not 'if' and it usually depends on the value of the information that can be gotten.
It's surprisingly easy for sound, they always record so you just have to be in and you can access it
dude, they can already use your wifi to literally see what is happening in your home without a camera present...
i will never take a shit in front of my laptop again
@@SuperiorApostateexactly lol they been spying on us 🤣 😂
Even if ur not posting just knowing you're out there helping those who can't is awesome.
Thank you for all you do. I love this scam baiting community. You are all superheroes sadly not supported by law enforcement....
I watched nano baiter infect all the pcs in a scam centre and get them banned from using Anydesk and reporting them to Microsoft for saying they were representatives of Microsoft. It answers me so much that they would take advantage of vulnerable people and get away with it. They have no shame. I bet their parents are so proud of their 'career' choice...
Thank you again for all you do, Jim.
Thank you Jim. I’ve learned so much from you. I’m not very tech savvy so when my phone rings and someone with an Indian accent says “Hello Ma’am, how are you today?” I tell them….. and it’s a long, long, long litany of woe. My health issues, my dog’s health issues, the weather, on and on. I don’t let them interrupt and they usually hang up pretty quickly. If I’m feeling more playful and they ask me if I have a computer I say “yes, I just use it for internet banking. My husband used to do it but he died so I now have to manage the investments myself.” You can practically hear them drooling. I string them along pretending to be deaf, stupid and incompetent. The longest I’ve kept them going is 22 minutes, which is 22 minutes they’re not scamming someone else. They get angry and hang up which makes my day. Thank you Jim, for what you do.
And now you need to stream those conversations to RUclips, and collect a little ad revenue!
I keep a metal bowl and spoon on my counter... When they call me I string them along for a few minutes and then I put my speaker on and put the bowl on top of my phone and get an excellent drumming solo started. They stop calling pretty quickly.
Thanks for doing it this what we can do people think you have to hang up on them if you have time play with them don't give them your real name or any information
My dad used to do this and somehow they still scammed him so it must've been a really skilled scammer.

The fact that there is a Scam-baiting community warms my heart. As it's ultimately all about helping and protecting innocent people. Feel genuinely proud to be part of it! 😊
Good shit
what pisses me of is they do the work that the indian government wont do (or claims they can't do) and then when there provided all this ona silver platter, they do jack shit. Thats offensive. At least don't stand in the way.
A job well done, with some Incomparable assistance from your team.

10:57 this was hilarious, I love your sense of humour Jim, keep up the good work exposing these idiots scamming innocent old people. Kudos to you legend!
As an Indian, I applause and thank you for this work. These are the disease of the society. This needs to be cleaned.
Thank you. It is incredibly annoying that this tiny percentage are prepared to embarrass their country for greed. I know the real India @riturajborah382
India has scammers - the west has the Military Industrial Complex
I understand where you're coming from, but these scammers are a blight on your whole country. So sad for any honest Indians just trying to earn a living. Sadly I will not deal with anyone who calls me and has an obvious Indian accent no matter what your name is. I just don't trust you.
You are one of them. Don’t be shy.
@@JimBrowning yes its a big issue in india and its need cleaning up as well but wat abt scammers in their own country, they should clean up there as well......biggest scammers is the western government in relation to foreign students....ru willing to expose them as well?????
you're a hero, Jim. A legitimate hero. I forward your videos fairly regularly to my parents and can't thank you enough for your service. You make the world a better place.
Imagine Jim saying "I will find you... and I will kill you" in liam neeson's voice
Really. Look at the homeless crisis. This guy making the world a better place. HOW ? Because these smart scammers are scamming this moron country that actually gives them money. How is that making this world better. Why not have a channel talking about this sewer country and the hunger, gun violence, rapes, murders, homelessness etc. NAH !!! the worlds a better because he is talking about smart people scamming dumb people. Grow up.
This is amazing an video, the good deeds youve been doing.. bet it's so scary knowing that our phone can be hacked just like that, people can see can hear from our very own phones😢
Thank God there are people like you to try and sometimes successfully stop these scum ! They have no morals at all ! Without people like yourself people would have no hope. ❤

Jim, you are so tech savvy and you are a guardian angel. 😇
Good job dude. It's out of our heads to do this type of work. So we rely on you guys.
I always find it comedic that they will yell and insult us over the phone, yet they leech off of us merely to survive
I think there's a bit of psychology there: they need to be able to say their victim is "worthless" in some way, for example to tell themselves the victim was gullible, in order to justify their actions to themselves. Then they can say "Someone else would have done it if I hadn't, it would have happened anyway, so I haven't made any difference". Otherwise they would feel guilty.
In addition to the above, some argue "in the west they have a lot of money anyway. If I take 10k its nothing, everything they say otherwise is a lie"
@@donvitopatataDelusional of course. Western people suffer poverty like everywhere else in the world.
@@donvitopatata we end up converting dollars to rupees. $5000 a month salary is like a rich persons salary here. But i keep reminding people how expensive health care and education and other things are in america compared to india. and senior citizens are not looked after by their kids like in india. so they will literally die if they lose their money as noone will help them and if they need money for meds its literally murder what these scammers do.
@@michaelstreeter3125 That's basic psycho 101...I think.
I cannot even fathom on the mindset of such a thing, that's a mindset used in many things, scams is like a sub category of it.
High chances that someone from Police must have tipped them about the raid. That's why they left in hurry.
Most of times some from police already know about these scam centers, many are even paid protection money.
Being Indian, even we are facing these situations with atleast 2-3 scam calls every week . These people need to be stopped.
Love what you do.
Keep up the good work 💪
I commend all involved. Stopping these scammers is definitely a foot in the right direction. Now stiff penalties and jail time should be implemented with no bail.
The amounts i had to save my mother from scammers and even my own boyfriend is crazy. You always have to be careful and NEVER give the scammer power over you. Doesn't matter what they say they have or apparently will do, don't give them power and outplay them. Show them you are not scared and they can eat shit.
Stay safe everyone
Great work Jim!
If only it was easier to shut down and prosecute these vile cockroaches.

Nice one, hope you can fight the good fight. Uncountless time I have been told my computer has been compromised.. Bless you for sharing your hard work tracking these mongrells down and let's hope it is a lesson to all scammers doing that...take care lots best wishes have a great day.
Being from India this feels so satisfying you are helping to clear the dirt in our country.
Question: how seriously do people take police corruption over there? Is the ordinary person just resigned to accept that this is how life will always be, or have things like this caused scandals that put pressure on politicians to clean up the ranks? Is there some equivalent of the FBI or internal affairs that looks into police corruption?
You guys are good people but unfortunately these bad apples are actively tarnishing your country s reputation
Its a shame that the good people of India are being tarnished by these thieves... I think pressure from within, i.e. the good people, will be more effective to stop these thieves from ruining so many lives.
Join the fight, put pressure on the scammers to stop
@@TheSaintBigFoot With internet reaching smaller cities and villages in India.. there are new breed of local scammers from these small places who scam people by acting as customer care ppl of Indian E commerce companies. Their victims are also mostly ppl from small places. So yeah when I hear someone calling me with village accent I just hang up the phn. So I really understand what you are saying here.
@@sirgregsalot There are anti corruption bureaus but they would not be bothered of a small policeman tipping off someone in exchange of petty money. They mostly look out for big fishes doing corruption in tune of millions. So yeah.. it is what it is.. corruptions at low level gets unnoticed deliberately by authorities.
Amazing working with you, Jim! Can't wait to collaborate in the future!
You are THE MAN! You're doing God's work! Thank you
It’s incredible to me how disgusting these scammers can get.
What makes this scam stuff so bad is the fact that, even if the caller is credible, when I hear the accent, I immediately assume that it’s a scammer. Even though it’s probably just someone really doing their job. 😢
It feels like racism but they brought it upon themselves so i won't feel bad about it
Innocent scam victims in India don't have this advantage that we have here :(
Had the same incident once, I just trolled the guy and blocked the number. It wasn’t from a toll line that would call or can be called from a provider

This must be extremely frustrating to see an informant wreck your plans. God Bless you for helping victims of these devils!
It must've been one of the police officers. IDK how anyone else could've found out about the raid.
@@NyQuilDonut Yeah, no doubt there are some corrupt cops which get a cut of the scams, only thing they have to do is inform the scammers of any potential raid
You really did a good job by exposing these scammers.
"Can you see out your window?" - LMFAO 🤣
Honestly, the amount of corruption in India at all levels, is heartbreaking. Couple that with the level of apathy shown by other governments around the world, and you have what can only lead to greater level of evil. Keep fighting the good fight friend. You are a light, in a sometimes very dark world.
I feel like we misuse or the very best, overexaggerate terms such as "heartbreaking" -- because when I think of something "heartbreaking," I think of how our MIC has ravaged and destroyed dozens of countries, I think of how we give so much respect to vets when they willingly went to foreign land to slaughter and fuck poor people over for the sake of propping up the American dollar. That is what I find heartbreaking -- what we did in Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Laos, Vietnam, etc...
We elect our governments and our governments play the world police, raping and destroying countries, and then half a decade later, we say: "oh, that's really heartbreaking, how Iran doesn't respect its women" without having a single shred of awareness about the role we played in that country's demise.
Nothing will change until Indians demand their government do something about the rampant scammers. But if course, we all know they are too busy stoking religious tensions instead
@@jcon2060it's up to them or you to select what is "heartbreaking". You're entitled to your opinion as much as theirs. So there's no right answer. :)
@@jaymartinez2190 ok? that's the discussion I'm starting right? That the terms must be relevantly used?
