Some of the greatest guitar work of all time😮
Hangar 18 next for you then…NOT the official video as they cut a load of solos out, the original non-re-mastered version is best…you can thank me later, enjoy! :)
Megadeth are top tier metal gods.. legends.... Dave Mustaine is the co-founder, frontman, primary songwriter, and sole consistent member of Megadeth. The band has released sixteen studio albums, sold over 38 million records worldwide, and won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2017.
METALLICA Connection - Before forming Megadeth, Mustaine was the lead guitarist of Metallica, although he did not appear on any of their albums. He was credited on four songs from Kill 'Em All and two songs from Ride the Lightning. Rust in Peace is the fourth studio album Megadeth, released on September 24, 1990. It marked the debut of guitarist Marty Friedman and drummer Nick Menza in the band. The album features iconic tracks like Hangar 18, Holy Wars The Punishment Due, Tornado of souls, Take no prisoners In fact, Rust in Peace is often hailed as one of the best thrash metal records of all time.. and I agree. Megadeth are still touring today and Dave Mustaine is still playing at the age of 62. Respect to that. Holy Wars features a classic Dave Mustaine lyric about religious hatred and sectarianism, inspired by a real-life incident when a drunken Mustaine prompted a near-riot after inadvertently making a pro-IRA statement onstage at the Antrim Forum in Northern Ireland in 1988. During the gig in Northern Ireland, frontman Dave Mustaine made a controversial statement supporting “The Cause,” which he later realized referred to the IRA (Irish Republican Army). The song delves into the Holy Wars between Irish Protestants and Catholics, reflecting the ongoing battle between belief and governance.
bro wrote a whole speech
Every song on this album has this energy fantastic
Yes dude!!! This is exactly how I felt the first time I really sat down and listened to this song. This is the first song off of their album Rust in Peace. I’d just keep going on the album! It’s a masterpiece. Next would be Hangar 18. Looking forward to watching! Enjoy 🤘🏻
This song is the epitome of thrash metal. This is a hymn, a classic that never gets old.
Megadeth are the masters of transitions. They're still putting out bangers 40 years later. However, this whole album (Rust In Peace) has nothing but bangers from beginning to end.
While Heavy Metal, this album falls under the subgenre of Thrash Metal. BTW, skinny jeans, white sneakers, bullet belts (M60) and optional t shirt was a fashion statement for this type of music. This video was shot in a warehouse without a/c. It was reportedly so hot, the band removed their shirts for the shoot. Dave, singer and guitarist, would add the bullet belt and remove his shirt in the past before playing this song, usually the final song of the concert.
Yessss. Finally Ace! Welcome to MEGADETH mate 💥☠️💥
Reqct to the entire original album (NOT REMASTERED!) of "Rust in Peace". This is the opening track. Perfect album.
Welcome to Megadeth. You'll never leave
Great reaction men, I love this album and welcome to megadeth some of the lyrics on some pf the songs they still surprise me on how accurate they are to todays world I would recommend to listen this whole album if you want. 🎸🎶
Another great choice for tonight❤❤❤
Practically every single serious metal-head has this song on their all time top Ten list.
Another one on that list is "Painkiller" by Judas Priest. Check it out.
MEGADETH RULES FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!
Definitely need to check out Hangar 18 the studio version
This is an excellent Metal band. Like someone here said, the guitarist/vocalist was the original lead guitarist in, Metallica. He writes about world events, religion, magic, and personal struggles. Here's a few of their songs you could react to; "The Conjuring" and "Symphony of Destruction."
sweating bullets is also cool from them. 💪
Phenomenal reaction 🤘🤘
You must hear Wake Up Dead before you die! 🏄♂️
If you listen the whole album you will be able to say that there is a pro rust
in peace era and after rust in peace era in your life!!!
I hope you get there!
This is the best album I have ever heard!!!!
awesome reaaction! give she wolf rude awakening live a try you will be mind blown!
Washington is Next - Megadeth next 😧
Please react to Wintersun - 'Sons of Winter and Stars' - (Time I Live)
As a few others have stated, when it comes to reacting to Megadeth, you must listen to the original albums and not the remastered versions, especially "Rust in Peace" which 'Holy Wars...' is the first track. While some remastered versions improve the guitar, drum and bass tracks, the vocals are often hit or miss. Stick with the original album music. Also, the producers of older Megadeth, early 90's and before, are notorious for shortening the original songs by removing music for time content. Not cool. Also, official music videos are more likely to be blocked. Sticking to album cuts or lyric videos are best with reacting to Megadeth.
Now, 'Holy Wars...' is the first track off "Rust in Peace" often said to be in the top 3 Thrash Metal albums recorded. Any song off this album is worth a reaction. Many 'tubers have reacted to the full album, at one time or over several weeks. I don't want to give away the surprise, but the second song off "RiP", 'Hangar 18' only have 2 verses of lyrics. The rest of the song is solos. I will also suggest a few songs off several other 80's and 90's Megadeth albums. 'The Skull Beneath the Skin' is off Megadeth's first album. It tell about the creation of Vic Rattlehead, Megadeth's mascot. He can be found on several album covers. 'My Last Words' is off their second album released in 1986. This song is about playing 'Russian Roulette. 'Hook in Mouth' is from the third album. This song is against censorship, which was becoming an epidemic in the 80's metal scene. It was spearhead by groups like the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC). They are the reach why 'Explicit Lyrics’ stickers are on albums. 'Lucretia' is off "RiP". This song is about a ghost living in Dave Mustaine's attic. The last song is off the fifth album, 'Countdown to Extinction'. This song is the title track. It does not get the love it deserves. The song is about 'canned' hunts. You cannot go wrong listening to any of these songs. This list gives you a taste of each of the first 5 albums.
Looking forward to more Megadeth reaction soon.
Hangar 18 next, not the shortened video, but the non-remastered album version. The remastered versions sound muffled, just awful.
I agree and they also cut some of the solo's out so make sure you get the right version... banger of a track.
You look like an actor.....can't think of who, and it's driving me mad 😅
It wears me out listening. It’s impossible to sit still. They have plenty of great songs. This whole album for starters.
One of the greatest Metal tunes of all time. Just don't look too deep into the singer's politics as of 2024. Let's just say it doesn't line up with the music he wrote back in the day. Disappointing.
