Greetings and Love from Germany again 💚...thanks for this awesome and for me the ultimative best reaction to ROTAM i've ever saw. And i watched at least thousands. In this short time i've learned to know you a bit. To hang arround with you must be a funny time. Having a talk with you would be intressting, for sure. As i saw your thumbnail got me so hyped, i'm a MaidenManiac since 1985. The first time i saw the live performence of ROTAM was in 1988, to see full concerts was a rare thing back in the days. Maiden had releast their concert from the Long Beach Arena, California 1986 on VHS Video Tape. I never saw something like that before...and after. The second i got excited was the fact that i knew if somebody out there who would understand this song and can truly feel this live performence in the way i once did, it could be only you. And i was right. For me that's point of reaction videos. Finding the most similar (to mine) first reaction to my favorite songs. It's always like a time travel with 'Deja Vu ' feelings for me. Quite a nostalgic re-living of my first times, you know..😊 But dude, your face, your reaction when Bruce sang that line 'Water, Water, everywhere..' was priceless😅. I wasn't suprised that you came up with this line first. You have a great imagination. I dare to hope that you go on with Maiden for few miles. Some of my favorite story telling songs are the live versions of "When The Wild Wind Blows", "The Talisman", "Dance Of Death", "AlexanderThe Great"(Audio version), "Empire Of The Clouds", "Hell On Earth" (lyric video)...so, thanks again, buddy. I wish you a peaceful sunday 🌈 UP THE IRONS ✌
Thanks so much for the kind words! This is a masterpiece and a magnificent performance. Must be quite the experience to see them live. You really summed it up what reactions can be for someone. Even creating them feels like talking with friends. I am honored you chose to spend some time with me. Definitely will explore more of their music. Enjoy your Sunday, my friend.

I often feel the same way as the wedding guest after listening to this song. The storytelling is so good, it makes me feel like I AM that wedding guest all along. 😅
Dance of Death from Death On The Road is a must see. Many will say En Vivo and many have reacted to that one already but try the DOTR version instead. The theatrics and crowd is so much better and very similar to what’s happening here on Rime.
I always wonder how long i would be able to resist it if i found myself in that situation. How long would it take for my brain to convince my that this water is ok to drink :)

Thanks! I have always thought of narrating my own books, but in Belgium audiobooks are not that huge yet and the cost of producing and the time invested might not be worthwile as of yet. At least not for a small author like me 😅
Somewhere around 2012, Maiden eclipsed Pink Floyd as the top seller of merchandise. Someone else can check that for accuracy, but I think it's correct. Not bad for a band that in 40+ years has never gotten any radio airplay or other forms of commercial promotion.

Ok here's the thing, you watched the wrong video, you should have watched the video from 1985...I will leave the video link below for you. You should also listen to the actual poem written by 'Samuel Taylor Colleridge' back in the 1700's, read by David Barnes, just so you can understand the song a little better, it is a bad-ass poem and my favorite. So if you are going to watch live videos of Iron Maiden always watch the older videos as they are so much better, because that is back when singer Bruce Dickinson's voice was at it's best. Many many people say that his voice is considered to be operatic, Bruce can hold a note longer than any other rock singer, his vibratos are amazing, not to mention his vocal range.
