Nice! This is a really good feature to make you break out of those endless loops or weird generative stuff (also cool) to actually add a bit of structure and direction. Can also see how you can easily use it for making a "preset" for your patch and switching between these scenes. Thank you for the detailed explanation!
Thanks for your comment! I absolutely agree with you. One of the hardest things to keep in mind when producing music is to avoid boring loops by creating as many variations as possible. The songbuilder module can be a great tool for this purpose!
your entire Bespoke Tutorial Series is exceptional in it's quality and presentation. all these videos have helped me greatly. this particular songbuilder module is amazing, VCV Rack needs this so badly! -it's one of the reasons i'm learning Bespoke now. -thank you for everything, peace.
Thank you man! VCV is an outstanding software with great audio quality, but music production also needs high-level modules to organize and arrange music. Wish you a great music journey with Bespoke :)
Hi there: As we can see modular environment is pretty much more flexible, than linear ones. So before start dig on Bespoke, i'd have some questions: 1- It is stable enough ? 2- How its compatible with Pure Data ? 3- What are the import/export options ? Thank you in advance. Hope you post more tutorials about Bespoke.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Makes things much more clear :) Btw I'd love to see comparison of a workflow with songbuilder and event canvas. Aslo maybe showcase of new timeline node ?
Oh , this tutorial was a little more extensive, than those before. I can see a lot of purposes for the soungbuilder to use it for. 👌🏻 But one thing, I've found at 11:10 is that you've said "...its the number of repetitions...". I'ts not the amount of repetitions, which you can declare here, it' s "...the lenght in bars, that the selected scene should play for". (pls refer the popup menu of the field right next to the scene field.)
You're right man. What I wanted to say at first was "measures" but "repetitions" came out of my mouth 😅 Anyway shortly after I said "2 measures, 3 measures" and so on. Thanks for your accurate observation. It reminds me to always be careful and precise while recording these tutorials!

The Song Builder is also available in 1.2 release.
I realised that bespoke 1.2 had been released only while I was uploading the video 😅 Anyway I put the link to version 1.2 in the video description.

I'm glad this video was useful! Thanks for suggesting new ideas :)

@@SoundCodex Should be no negative critic or demotivation. It was only meant as a friendly hint. 😃
@@bmuxbeats Never thought it was a negative critic 😄
