@@nando3e76 Behaviour felt sad whereas this is hopeful. As well, PSB's were polished by this time and although the album Elysium falls in many top choices this song and Memory of the Future are in the Top 10 best of their entire career.

A lot of people trashed Neil's voice. Lots of critics. Yes, he's not the most technically talented singer and has a limited range. But his voice is comforting....like a favourite blanket. And who else can sings PSB songs. No one. Same thing with Bernard Sumner. Neil's just silk and he speaks to the heart.

Wow, Neil's voice hasn't changed in the slightest. It makes sense given that he's a pretty soft-spoken guy anyway, but it genuinely amazes me how PSB have managed to maintain such a high level of quality for their songs over the years.
As a traveler like I am, For a non wealthy person I have covered thousands and thousands of miles. All along listening to The Pet Shop Boys since I was almost 16 10 10 1986. This song tells me they still have it As a Lyrics writer for over 33 years now I think it would be awesome, to write some Lyrics for The Pet Shop Boys today 12 17 2017!

En realidad es el corte más logrado de Elisyum el álbum que sacaron en 2012 y digamos que fue un disco algo flojo. De hecho los b sides de los singles del álbum fueron mejores que varias canciones del disco. Leaving es una canción bellísima con una letra muy profunda y dolida. Pero que alá vez tiene cierta esperanza

This song hits today. Was just informed my father in law passed away. My family lives in the US he lived in the Czech Rep His health was starting to fail. We had a trip to visit this June once school was out in June. We have been praying he would hold on for another month. He did go on his terms. He knew his health was bad, but did not want to end up in a hospital bed waiting to die, so there is that to take comfort in. RIP I will miss you.

I love the minimalism of this performance. Just the two of them and the backing singers. Subtle and wonderful. I also like the outfits of the Boys. Neil is elegant as always, and Chris looks like some exotic orchid in his hoodie :) And the song is so moving and great.
