    Hi guys! I love watching your videos. Will you upload a video with camshaft chain tensioner installation?

    • @SmallboreAndMore

      We love to hear that… yes, a couple of weeks, it’s one of the next videos

    Im trying to get my head round this.
    You have air filter for stage 3, exhaust, and now a 145 bore. How about injector, clutch Springs, and a cam ? Did you install / need that ?

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  3 месяца назад +4

      Check out the install vid… you’ll see the Cam going in. With exhaust, Intake, cam and 145kit, the standard injector is fine. Keep an eye on the channel as we are fitting a bigger throttle body next and also the Takegawa version of the 145cc for comparison

    Hi Simon and James. A quick question regarding the 145cc bore kit, dynojet made you a three stage running in map, not mentioned was how many miles you run at each stage and total running in milage😊

      Hi,
      DynoJet can make you a running in map… but this was something we discovered while we were down there tuning the bike. I just used mine on the road, kept it below about 5500 for 20miles and the. Just slowly started reviving higher. Tried not to go flat out.
      So, 40 odd miles in is what you see on the dyno… flat out hitting the limiter!
      So far so good… but if I had the time again, id get the running in map at 5500 for 20-30 miles
      6500 for another 20-30
      7500 for the same
      And then no rev restriction for the last few miles to 100miles
      But try and not go 100% open until 80-90 miles.
      But like I say, mines been flat out from 40miles and so far so good 🤞🏻🤞🏻

    Are you going to swap the sprockets ? You should be able to go bigger on the front and bigger on the back

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  3 месяца назад +1

      I have to be careful on the rear as I have an underbraced swing arm, and the chain is close to the brace already… I have already reduced the rear sprocket by 1 tooth… (also note we don’t have stock tyres on…)

    how mouch faster is the bike with this kit? 10 mph/15kmh?

    • @SmallboreAndMore

      We’ll be doing some acceleration and top speed runs vs a totally stock bike (as soon as it stops bloody raining🙄)

    Hi ! Thanks you for shared these video. I love a monkey and very difficult to choose between version 2020 vs 2022. In my country they are same price. Can you recommend for me ? Which one is better? Thanks sir!

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi, it depends what you want to do with it…. Just leave stock, ride and enjoy, go for the 2022.
      If you want to chase power, go for the 2020, for a 181 and a 5 speed Takegawa gearbox💪🏻

    • @tubias09
      @tubias09 2 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for the quick reply! I have no intention of changing the vehicle's speed. In terms of engine and maintenance, which car is better? Have you noticed the big difference between a 4-speed clutch and a 5-speed clutch? Very appreciate your advice. Thank you a thousand times!

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  2 месяца назад

      if you’re going to leave it stock… go for the 5 speed 2021+
      There’s very little difference, if any between them… but resale will be better on the latest model.

    Will this map be available as a base map from Dynojet for Kitaco 145 buyers? Cheers

      What do you mean by “Base”? The map is available from DynoJet as of today… (just not sure what you mean by Base)

      @@SmallboreAndMore awesome. I just meant that someone may not have the exact exhaust and intake set up that you have but could use this map as a reliable starting point once the 145 kit was fitted 👍 cheers, looking forward to the road test video

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  3 месяца назад

      Agh, I see.
      The monkeys aren’t that sensitive to the exact type of exhaust and intake… once the restriction is gone either side by using a performance exhaust / intake the difference is negligible.
      As long as it’s not stock exhaust and intake with a 145 kit (which would be unusual) it will be bang on.
      Just contact DynoJet and they’ll send you it.👌🏻

    After riding for an hour or so what temps are you getting on the engine? I’ve got an Aracer unit that tells me my RPM and engine temp etc… and in summer this can get up to 140°C! Any idea of what the temps should be?

      I have a PV3 tuning without the 145 kit with all the other mods as the blue 2022 Smallbore and More bike also with the Takagawa dash.
      Now, I have an oil cooler mounted between the DNA filters with a temperature probe directly into the oil cooler feed pipe. Iv not used the bike in warm climate yet but over winter, it's reading 58 deg C

    • @Topboy_Jonny
      @Topboy_Jonny 3 месяца назад +1

      @@simonchandler448 yeah, I could do with sticking an oil cooler on mine also. Would seriously help I think. I’ve a 2019 model so it’s not as straightforward an install

    • @simonchandler448
      @simonchandler448 3 месяца назад

      @Topboy_Jonny, it's definitely a worthwhile mode, especially if you're in a warmer climate.
