    Absolutely class video, about time someone documented this information 👏

    Lads, this is one of them videos that’s going to be referenced for many years to come! Honestly appreciate you guys taking the time to do this, you’ve blown the ‘bro science’ out of the water. I’ve a zoom exhaust and was thinking of upgrading the air filter too but obviously will be getting a remap as well.
    Is it cheaper do you think to let somebody else remap it instead of buying the gear? I’ve a ducati too that could potentially benefit from a remap so weighing out what’s the best cost effective way of doing it.
    Also, your Production is spot on as always, I hate having to set cameras up for cut scenes such as moving the van or arriving haha but they always seriously add to the video so keep up the solid work 👌🏻

      Thanks for the encouragement Jonny💪🏻 With regard to getting the gear vs doing it yourself, I think it depends on whether you can use the PowerVision 3 on the Ducati.
      If you can, then it’s a no brainer, you might as well buy one and use it on both bikes.
      You’d be best to reach out to Frank at DynoJet and give him both bike details and he’ll advise.
      Good luck 💪🏻

    Good luck, so you can understand the power maps of a Honda Monkey from the year 2023, engine type JB03 and 5 speeds? I have the Dynojet power vision 3 and I only have the stock exhaust map, stock air intake

    Do you use the stock ecu ? And just use the dump thing to remap the stock

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  4 месяца назад

      Yes, stock ECU, use the power vision 3 to flash it with new map.

    if 14,7 AFR is not optimal, what ratio it is, and why?

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  2 месяца назад

      An AFT 14.7 is what the manufacturer aims for to be as lean as possible, therefore as efficient as possible to use as little fuel per mile, to be able to meet emissions regulations.
      The more fuel you can get into the cylinder that can be combusted, the more power can be made. But the additional power, consumes more fuel and this reduces fuel economy.
      So we aim for mid 13’s AFR. That’s the sweet spot, anything less than that and you start to become too rich and the engine isn’t able to burn all of the fuel. Which results in less power and things like carbon build-up where the unburnt fuel deposits on the internals.
      So basically, it’s a balance… but mid 13’s AFR is a good place.
      Hope that’s explains it👍🏻

      @@SmallboreAndMore Thank you for your response! I just see in video that 13,2 AFR was aimed. I know that 14,7 AFR is optimum for gasoline engines, but maybe for an small air cooled engine the extra fuel keep the cylinder cooler.

    All that for half a horsepower!!

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  3 дня назад

      It’s 1.88 BHP gain! Not Half a horse power??
      I know the absolute figure feels small, but you’ve gotta remember the amount they start out with is tiny… so it’s actually quite a big gain, 8.3bhp to 10.18bhp is over 20%💪🏻
      And the most important thing is you can REALLY feel it out on the road😎
