Just subscribed! Thanks for the vid.
I have had this kit installed on my gen CT125. I have a ticking noise coming from my engine which cannot be heard at idle, but gets progressily louder with RPM increase. Is this something you're expereincing at all? My hunch is that this related to the camshaft. I am using a camshaft from NK Racing (thai company) and not the Kitaco one.

      Hi,
Yeah… the cam noise is much louder with this kit… next weekend, we are going to put the standard cam back in to confirm that it’s just the cam. I’ll let you know the result.

I have the exact same problem! I have a noise which sounds like a loose bolt or something, starting at about 3000 rpm. First I thought it was related to the cam chain tensioner, but it works without problem. But I also have the stock cam and no other engine mods besides a takegawa exhaust.
I am fairly sure I didn't do anything wrong assembling the engine, but I'll have to tear it apart anyway...

Hello guys! Great videos, thank you very much it will help me to disassemble the cylinder! I have a monkey 2023, Yoshimura RS3 on it. I would like to install the 145cc kit from Kitaco but I could not do ECU reprogramming for now, I would still have a better engine? And also, are you satisfied with the DNA Stage 3 air filter? So gorgeous! Thanks for your answer 🛵

Hi Bruno, thanks for your comments…. The advice from Dynojet (check out our other vids for the tuning) is that it would
be pretty dangerous to upgrade to the 145kit without adding extra fuel. It would just be too lean, and that will cause problems with too much heat, and lead to component failure.
As far as the DNA stage 3… it’s a lovely thing, is it worth the money? It’s hard to justify the price tag on performance alone, because there’s for example the Takegawa intake that’s about 10% of the price and will be just as free flowing.
I’d say it’s all about the looks / symmetry 💪🏻 but it’s personal choice.
In my opinion, they are expensive for what they are!
      Enjoy tuning…💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

@@SmallboreAndMoreOk I suspected it but you confirm it. I will wait for the Kitaco reprogrammer.
For the DNA Filter... I love the symmetry!!! Is it worth the cost just for the look!? Maybe! 🤑
it's nice of you to have answered me, thanks again.

spoken to ben he has not heard of any noise from kitaco. can you confirm if problem solved

    • @SmallboreAndMore
      @SmallboreAndMore  Месяц назад

There’s a few people who are all reporting the same thing. This was the first kit from Ben before he’d sold any others. Compared to his Takegawa 145, it was very noisy… so only one thing to do… direct comparison!
Anyway, dyno tomorrow!!!! See if the Takegawas any better
