I have been a lifelong musician and mixed it with many names but this lad is nothing short of superb. In my opinion he will (in time) rank amongst the likes of Steve Gadd and Billy Cobham. Could have done with him 20 years ago.

It's good to see as great a drummer as Dylan paying tribute to Bonham. Bonham was less of a fancy stick technique guy like Dylan, but he was one the most machine-like precise and innovative drummers around in his time, and Dylan shows his appreciation here. Dylan himself is extraterrestrial in his (to put it technically) motor skills. Normal humans cannot hope to even come close to approaching his ability.
its so so brilliant to see dylan using his amazing talent to make people happy. instead of going up his own arse *cough bozzio cough.....to be honest i think he is the greatest drummer in the world already.

Dylan's so good anything from this universe bores him. He's not rockin it like bonhomie cause he's not pushing it like bonham. Bonham played at 80 percent of maximum. Dylan is like a Lamborghini with cruise control set at 30. When you have to stretch more people feel it. Dylan ain't stretchin here. See his New Zealand jazz fest solo and you'll have some respect.

The first 1/3 of this is heavily influenced by Bonhams "Moby Dick" performance in "How the West Was Won". Seriously. Look it up. That being said, this guy should be on top of the drumming universe. I see no conceivable way in which one could exhaust all possibilities of this fairly simply kit more than he did in this 6 minute clip.

He is very good, but I wouldn't go as far as saying he's the best, the greatest or even close to that. One thing I will give him is that he has lot's of fun playing on the street. He doesn't look like this is work to him.

Since Bonham had no chops, Dylan Elise destroys him. Bonham is not a drummers drummer. On the other hand, Dylan Elise as I has seen him in other videos, is an excellent drummer. However, it was nice of Dylan Elise to pay tribute to Bonham.
