I mean Dylan is amazing, and as a drummer I'm amazed at his skill in all aspects, but I'm kinda the most blown away at how consistently he manages to make the hi hat sound like he's making contact with a stick using only his feet on the "and" beats in the 3:30 area. Little things like that impress me greatly. I hope to be even a quarter as skilled as you are within my lifetime.
if you do a stamp on the hi hat pedal and let your foot bounce off it creates that fizzing effect. if your good you can get that contrast with heel-toe action. this guy is sick at it :)
