Another great video. And the 5 gallon bucket on the tongue of your trailer is the perfect stand to put the wheel on while changing tires. Keeps all the weight off the motor cord and the disk. All the weight rests evenly on the spokes.

Looking forward to how you like the Tannus liner. Yes, air pressure should be a little less with the Tannus liner.
One thing you did not mention was to make sure the tires are rotating in the correct direction. Some tires it does not matter other tires it does.
Nice job putting on the tires without any tools.

Dude you are really a breath of fresh air! I truly hope that some of these bike and component manufacturers pick up on you. I've started my own little mention campaign and will expand this in the future on forums that I subscribe to. Keep up the good work! If you're not spiritual, it doesn't matter, but here's something for you: "Trust me with all of your heart, do not depend on your own understanding, remember me in everything that you do, and I will give you success." Of course the "me" isn't "me", but whether you currently believe or not, I believe that your nature will reap good things for you and yours.

You are SO right about road-tires being quiet.... I got my first comment while riding yesterday about how quiet I was. I mounted one of those old fashioned honker horns discreetly on the side under my seat. That works so much better than the little bell(which I hate). This bike tends to really scare pedestrians!!! I ride only on the streets, but people still think it's a motorcycle in my area...Most don't know what to make of it. Gotta admit I dig that! Actually with all the cosmetic "tweaking" that I have done to it, it looks like a motorcycle now! Once again...that was intentional.... I am very used to the staring, and I am having WAY too much fun with this Monster!!

👍 Thanks for the video, just ordered a Tannus liner for my rear tire, and got the same size tubes you used coming, I may be installing the Tannus before my motor depending on what gets here first, seems to be a long wait on the shipment of motors out of China. You make everything look easy, gives me hope I can do it too... Your how to videos are the best.

The 5 gallon bucket on the front of your trailer works great to set the wheel on so you don’t damage anything while working on it. I ordered the same kit that you did that came with the tubes. I have been unable to find a spare online or on Kendra’s site that are the same size. If you come across a source for them please let me know. Thank you

  • @ozzie444

I only did my front wheel with the Tannus liner so far. I'm gonna do my rear after I get my new freewheel & do both then. I used a light dusting of baby powder inside the tire & on the new tube. Everything went in very easily. When you pump up the tire it's easiest to use a compressor & pump it fast & to 40-50 psi & the tire bead seats on the rim no sweat. Bleed off a couple times & pump it up again once or twice then set your final pressure. The baby powder works good. I'm gonna use some FlatOut also. Maybe overkill but I really, really hate getting a flat....lol.

  • @geraldscott4302

Some Windex on the bead makes it a LOT easier to seat all the way around. I use a 12V compressor that inflates the tube pretty fast and will pop the wet bead into place quickly. I wonder what kind of effect those liners have on no pedal range, since they would obviously create a LOT more rolling resistance?

  • @Altema22
    @Altema22 4 года назад

Someone else who pulls the tire off the rim with their bare hands! I feel like we bonded somehow, lol.
I'm fortunate that I rarely get flats. 900 miles on my RadMini 4, and my Fuji road bike is 20 years old and has never had a flat! However my first folding bike (analog) is in the garage with both tires flat. Great job making sure the tube is not twisted or kinked, and aligning the bead. I've had new bikes with the bead not even. Thanks for the video, and I hope they have the Tannus Armor for the Mini.
PS: The RadMini tires are loud, but I ride on paved paths through state parks, and having people hear me approaching is an asset. The checkerboard pattern traps the air as the tire hits the ground, and the stiff tire casing kinda amplifies it, but I don't mind. The juggernaut tires make noise because of the nub pattern and the stiff casing.

Should use a tube with a Presta valve or a schrader that's externally threaded and bolted down to the wheel so when/if you deflate for sand or snow, the valve won't sink into the wheel when trying to hook your pump on.

Tyre tools, use spoon handles like grandad did. I did this in reverse, those liners are essential in my opinion, especially with those floppy tyres which pop off the rim when it's flat making the bike a bugger to even push home, probably dangerous if it happened while riding . Slime on low pressure fat tyres did nothing but make a mess for me.Two planks to sit the wheel on help too.

I was waiting for you to grab one of the old tires to use as a base while you worked on the new tire. You could even throw the tube back in if you needed a firmer base. Not sure if it would have made it tall enough to prevent having to balance everything like you were.

When I had first heard of these Tannus Armour, someone on Fb Rad group had said we had to use the TA/with these yellow liner/tube and a tube or JSU the Red ans yellow. That would make it about $100 per tire. Do you know of which I’m referring? Anyway it has me all confused. Also,a few ppl split between 60% said easy DYI 40% said No,difficult and. Urging some of the red tannus beading I’ll call it. A few ppl even said a bike shop said No too hard and another took 1-2 hours & charged him $25 a tire to install ! It appears pretty easy & St8 forward to me. Thank you again

They do not have a Manuel for my bicycle the ecotric ecotric hammer. They did say I can take it to the bicycle shop they will pay for it that was good the front end is a little loose. Other than the electrical is not any different than any other bicycle really. I don't have any other Transportation I have one leg nobody to help me and I can do almost anything with my ecotric Hammer ebike. It's really heavy 70lb I need to get some of those panniers which I thought were called saddlebags back in the day. I was messing around with the settings so I didn't have to pedal and now I only have 3 pedal assist and I'm afraid to mess with it but they sent me the information for that. The video I saw on here was wrong. Not this channel I forgot where it was. Once I get the new battery and some patches and some silicone glue which Works amazing for patching I will be pretty much prepared. I want to go long distances eventually I will get new handlebars cuz work it out the ones you get with it the old retro Style hurt your hands really bad after long distance. I think the bike can go at least 25 or 30 the way it is if I program the settings for the controller. It's about 90 here in Western New York.
