- Here is my America, I've changed her in many ways, how many differences can you spot from a bog standard 2010 T. america., Some can't be seen, 19 tooth front sprocket, Gel seat, hagon proggresive F/springs, also saddlebags and rails count as one, also any pairs also count as one, mug doesn't count. On my earlier video I had long TOR's these are changed to short, One addition is very hard but a clue is there
A Great bike. I have owned one for the past 4 years. Lovely machine to ride and it sounds great with the short exhaust pipes. Roll on summer 2013 !
I know your question is a little old, but...I just bought an America, I'm 6'3" and it fits me fine. The forward controls will enable someone much taller fitting on it as well.
I have the same bike in the same colour. I love what you have done to yours it really looks nice, the polished wheels are very smart, have they been lacquered after polishing?
Spotted what looks like Fiamm horn(s). Freeway Blasters? Had a pair of a slightly different Fiamm model on my 1974 Moto-Guzzi Eldorado 850 and they were one of the best safety mods I ever did. They would break your eardrums, They had a pitch, dissonant dyad, and loudness that got instant attention.
Centerstand. I wish mine had one.
where did you get your hand guards from please.
Thank You

who makes the wind hand guards?
You appear to have the Speedmaster instrument cluster on the tank, with rev counter. Was that easily swapped over?
No the the instrument cluster is triumph America spec. I believe there are mounting brackets on the tank.
Nice Bike! My husband and I both have a Triumph America and I'd like to know where you got your hand guards? I would be grateful if you could give me the make/model. Thanks.
Hi thanks.
the handguards are BMW off a GS1150, picked them up off ebay. I believe the new Tiger has them maybe they will fit if they have the same hand controls.
sorry not been on site for years.. They are off a BMW GS
Hi I give up at the last count there were around 42 additions to the standard america. Hard to believe.
I wish they would have left the narrower, wagon-spoke wheel up front on the '12 and '13 models.
Oh can you remember where you got the mirrors from? (always worth a try
standard triumph mirrors
If you're still there, is the 19 tooth sprocket for taller gearing on the highway? I have heard that the standard America revs high at 65-70 mph. Thanks.
Yes and hardly affects acceleration, If I can remember rightly knocks about 200/250 rpm off
Is the centre stand an OE part or a jobber part? Kit/part number?
Hi It was a part made by a Triumph dealer called Norman HYDE he still sells them at £165 . I am thinking of selling my bike so will be taking off some extras, would be looking at £100 for the main stand the bike has only done 4,500 miles.
hey buddy i came across a 2002triumph bonneville fr 1500 buck with a bad od and piston everything else is fine the jug isnt hurt one bit surprisingly do you think its a good deal it had a block when it went old boy rebuilt the motor he told his kid to put oil in it and well he didnt

Triumph
Hi, rear saddlebag guards? Where from? Thanks 👍👍
Hi do you live in the UK I have a spare set
Excellent!! Essex is where I hail from where are you?
You spent some serious dosh on that bike! 😱😱😱 Also where did you get the rev counter? Speedmaster? If it was they are expensive! 😱 I was gonna put one from a 900 Sprint £15 on fleabay but not sure on the rev range from that?
you still interested in the rear guards. sorry not been here for a while
centre stand? where can I get one ? didn't know it was an option.
Hi Jimmy this is made by an outside contractor that advertise on Ebay UK. I enclose the ebay no. hope its OK if not get back to me and I'll send you the address. --- 281271294117. if not go on uk ebay and type triumph America centre stand there coming in at £79 + p&p. which is a lot cheaper than Norman whites price.
Graham Connolly Thank you I will check it out
its like the hamburger with the lot , i prefer no pineapple but each to their own eh
How are you finding those Hagons, am about to fit the same ones myself than i saw this
I also replaced the front fork springs, heavy braking caused the front end to dip these helped considerably. The rears miles better than standard. thanks
Hi Dan thanks for having a guess. thought there was no one left alive in the triumph america video world.
But I'm afraid to tell you, you are way off, there are lots lots more, don't forget its differences from a standard showroom bike.
thanks again, anyone else out there. besides Dan.
must be old men at the design wheel
You have ploughed a lot of money in to that bike. The hand guards look totally wrong on that bike IMO.
who the fuck designed that rear light it look like something off silence of the lambs lol fuck me come on triumph
