I was making it harder than it really was. Then from your channel I saw how to start without a foundation change. In the beginning we chain 4, DC. Ch 1. Question is do I use a DC for 3 of them and a chain 1? I know I could just try it in different ways but asking the pro is the very best thing I could do. Thanks so much . That’s a good question. I’d probably go with a flat seam join for these squares. I like to keep things simple so maybe just a moss stitch border or crab stitch might be nice . Even a simple sc border would be lovely. For example, r1 of the border in the same background color of the square , r2 the same color as the flower petals. Hope that helps 🧶💕

So you’ll need 28 grams for the center, 72 for the petals, 72 for the border in total for 14 squares. Just keep in mind this is approx and based on the yarn in the video (hook and yarn details are in the description box below the video)

Both ideas would be beautiful. Maybe you could pick 3 colors to do your flowers if you want to do different colors but using only one color would be gorgeous as well. And yes keep the same centers and beige border to pull it all together 🙌🏻💕😀

This is a worsted weight. It will look good with any yarn - cotton, acrylic, wool. Which are you wanting to use?
