I love this - I am going to use it in Autumnal colours to look like berries, on blankets I am making for my granddaughters. Their names are Rose, Daisy and Autumn so I am incorporating all three designs into blankets predominantly based on their favourite colours. Wish me luck!

Thank you for this. I am very new to crocheting (just a few months). And I found these easy enough to make.
I did something unusual with mine, that I think I'm happy with. I tend to experiment a lot when I'm learning
I made 2 of these squares and attached then together down the middle,. Then embedded them in a sweater I'm creating (in single crochet),. Centered about an inch and a half below the necklunem.
I think I'm quite happy with it. These are really pretty inside a sweater too.

    • @BarbaraC147

Agreed 🙂. I'm liking my sweater,. But next time I think I would just make your flowers without the square background part and just sew them on at the end.

Now if I want to make a whole blanket out of these, I need to go buy more white and yellow yarn cuz this one's a yarn eater, lol! Can't wait to get a few done and then come back for the JAYG part of this tutorial. Thank you for this, it was very easy to follow, esp for someone who is intimidated by this stitch. Much appreciated.
