“Taco in a Bag” is somewhat a thing in my family (we live in northeastern United States), but mostly with my aunt who is from the south. We use snack-size Dorito bags, and serve all the other ingredients in a buffet line so people can make their own Taco Bag to their liking. We usually have ground taco meat, shredded cheese or queso, onion, salsa, beans, jalapeño, and lettuce as the options.
first time i had this was at a cheer competition in upstate new york. we call it “walko taco”. they also sometimes serve it at some high school basketball games. it’s an absolutely amazing cuisine *chefs kiss*
As an italian girl (that's actually from Bologna, so where the ragù comes from lol), i have to tell you that "bolognese sauce" and ragù are the same. In italy it is only called ragù, but that's it. If you come to Italy and ask for "Salsa alla bolognese" (bolognese sauce in italian) they won't understand you at first because ragù is only called ragù😂
Ragu is the name brand of a terrible tasting popular jarred spaghetti sauce (marinara) here in the US. No one here would call a bolognese a “ragu” unless they are of Italian heritage so I think that’s where Naomi had the hiccup. “Butter girl” should have used a store brand or something like Prego or Classico because it’s too confusing if you know what a ragu actually is and Naomi did. But the jarred brand Ragu cannot be further from an actual ragu if it tried.
@@_dulce_dee eh. A lot of children have been growing up watching tiktok. They wouldn’t know or learn it was originally Mexican. Not a lot of good education on tiktok :( or any information on the trend or culture :(
Hey Naomi! Looking gorgeous as always. :) I suggest trying the brown sugar toast with green apple slices in between the cheese! It would give a nice sour kick that goes well with all the ingredients! Enjoy!! (Love all your videos, btw!)
For the potatoes i would recommend putting them in the fridge or freezer after cutting them, so that the butter doesn’t melt that fast when frying. But idk haven’t done the recipe so who am i to know 😂😂
I'm cracking up over the butter + Spaghetti sauce like just hearing it makes me think it would be gross, good on you for following through and trying what you make I on the other hand could never.
The taco in a bag is extremely popular and we call them “Walking tacos”. I’ve had them at every school baseball game since I can remember. Try ones with chili and Fritos next !
The second one it’s kinda similar to a really popular snack here in Mexico, but we open the bag of chips (whatever chips you prefer) sideways and we put elote (corn), salsa and all of the other ingredients. We call them “(what ever your choice of chips it’s called example: Doritos) Preparados” 💗
I want to see you try liquid ranch for the first time. Its good to dip vegetables in like carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, ect. As a southerner I can tell you most country people eat ranch on almost everything
@@05Charlotte05 in Tennessee we use it as dressing on salads as well its popular on other stuff too. Alot of people here eat it on pizza, chicken nuggets, French frys, if its dipable folks dip it in ranch lol

Not really. It goes off our rules of pronunciations. It's funny when yall fucks complain our language is too inconsistent and then bitch at us for not changing everything to your style. Sorry we ain't Dutch 2.
As an American who has grown up with ranch in almost everything, I much prefer using Ranch powder to make ranch dressing/dip than the store bought bottles. I usually make dip by mixing the powder with either sour cream or cream cheese, but I've also made it by adding it to heavy cream (or half & half, or even a mix of cream and buttermilk) and whipping it until just stiff enough that it's not liquid anymore (I mean, if you want to whip it into ranch flavored butter that's up to you, I won't judge. Lmao)
7:55 The short answer is yes, cats can eat lettuce. Technically, lettuce is not a food that will make your cat sick, and its not poisonous to cats. Your feline can also benefit from a number of dietary benefits that come from eating lettuce. so yea lettuce is good 4 cats:)
Ranch is so good! In the US it usually a salad dressing or dip. If you add it to sour cream, it makes a dip. You can dip all kinds of things in it like veggies, chips, or pretzels. You could also use it as a marinade for meats and veggies.
I think Americans obsession with ranch is weird. I understand using ranch for certain things but people use it on ALL of their food. Literally, my brothers kids won't eat pizza, chicken or French fries without it. I know a lot of adults that are like this also. It makes me wonder if they even like the food they are eating or do they just like the ranch. I know people that won't eat specific food because they can't put ranch on it. One of my good friends puts ranch on spaghetti and if she comes to my house for dinner she brings her ranch with her. That's an addiction.
@@ggt2205 time for an intervention for your friend because the only recipe that ranch and pasta belong together, is chicken bacon ranch pasta and that’s already pushing the pasta limits.

Naomi's effort behind these videos deserves some appreciation!❤👏 I'm sad it didn't pay off for the potatoes though 😅. That "butter snack" made me cringe, eating solid butter like that. 😖
So the taco in a bag thing, it's commonly called a "walking taco". It's crazy that people think walking tacos are a TikTok trend 🤣 We literally had these for school lunches when I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL, like 15 years ago. These have been around for decades, and they are best when made with original Fritos and you don't need to smash the chips!
ranch seasoning mixed with buttermilk & mayo makes ranch! i used to make ranch all the time at my job loll, its very easy! we’d make it with 2 packets, a gallon of buttermilk, and half a gallon (or a gallon?) of mayo. im sure the powders packaging have the correct recipe on them! ♥️
I actually really like that you end up making slightly dif versions of the recipes because when they do succeed then it makes me feel more like i could actually make them if that makes sense.

I thought the same thing. I’ve had “walking tacos” my whole life 😅
In the midwest we call them "walking tacos" because they are portable. We use the snack size Dorito bags too. So good.
I came for the walking taco comments. It didnt even occur to me it might be American.
first time i had this was at a cheer competition in upstate new york. we call it “walko taco”. they also sometimes serve it at some high school basketball games. it’s an absolutely amazing cuisine *chefs kiss*
Americans ruin our food all the time 😕
As an italian girl (that's actually from Bologna, so where the ragù comes from lol), i have to tell you that "bolognese sauce" and ragù are the same.
No ma adoro ho trovato un'altra persona di Bologna ahah hiii
@@sus_mau ma a casissimo poi HAHAHAHHAAHHA adoro
Ragu is definitely the grossest jarred pasta sauce, and I regularly eat jarred pasta sauce…

The fact that people think walking taco is some sort of weird tik tok food trend is wild to me lol Literally grew up eating them at school 😂
Seriously!! It's actually annoying that people think it's a tik tok food trend lol like whyyyyy
My exact thought lol.
Yup.
I always do it without the meat ~ some corn and olives instead and whatever greens I have .. basically a salad that taste good
@@_dulce_dee eh. A lot of children have been growing up watching tiktok. They wouldn’t know or learn it was originally Mexican. Not a lot of good education on tiktok :( or any information on the trend or culture :(
“Welcome back to”… iM sTiLl StAnDiNg, YeA, yEa, YeA. I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD, I ❤U SO MUCHHH
Hey Naomi! Looking gorgeous as always. :) I suggest trying the brown sugar toast with green apple slices in between the cheese! It would give a nice sour kick that goes well with all the ingredients! Enjoy!! (Love all your videos, btw!)
Or brie cheese with raspberries. 😋
We call them “(what ever your choice of chips it’s called example: Doritos) Preparados” 💗
i was going to say this! i like it with regular potato chips so there's a basic flavor to all the other ingredients
I want to see you try liquid ranch for the first time. Its good to dip vegetables in like carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, ect. As a southerner I can tell you most country people eat ranch on almost everything
she will have eaten ranch before because in Germany we eat ranch in a salad as a dressing so I can't imagine that she has never eaten it
@@05Charlotte05 in Tennessee we use it as dressing on salads as well its popular on other stuff too. Alot of people here eat it on pizza, chicken nuggets, French frys, if its dipable folks dip it in ranch lol
@@05Charlotte05 i never found Ranch in Germany that tastes like the Ranch in america.. a sauce from McDonalds once came pretty close but it was only seasoinal.. what i would do to eat Pizza with American Ranch again.. 😩
as a person who speaks Dutch, the German pronounciation of Gouda is perfect! Y'all Anglo people are wrong!
Not really. It goes off our rules of pronunciations. It's funny when yall fucks complain our language is too inconsistent and then bitch at us for not changing everything to your style. Sorry we ain't Dutch 2.
This has to be the most blatantly racist comment I have read in a very long time. It’s 2022, dial it down a bit.
@@juliannafridley9041 huh…
@@juliannafridley9041 how is it racist haha
In the uk we say gowda tho, you mean Americans?
ok but can we stop and appreciate how good Naomi is a makeup like omgg ✨❤
Her makeup is amazing 🤩
You’d think at this point Naomi would learn to not put so much oil LMAO
Frrr lmao. But honestly I think I do the same lol. LOVE HER SOOOOO MUCCHHHH
I've never felt more uncomfortable watching you slurp ragu from the jar 😅😂
We have it in europe to duh just not as powder
@@ggt2205 that is not a universal american experience lol your brother's kids are just obsessed
@@veronikagonzalez5954 it might not be universal but I know so many people like this.
To answer your annoiling question 19:36: You add too much oil because you don't account for the volume of the things you'll fry
The level of grease will increase by the exact volume of the things you put into it
Btw love you so much girl, your vids are so pure and honest and I love your makeup skillz ❤️✨
Heureka!
My family calls the taco bowls walking tacos 8:24
Use the ranch powder to season your fries, it’s soooooo good. You’ll love it 😊
I think this very sweet that you make your recipes vegan so that Vincent can also try it as well. 🥺💜
Naomi's effort behind these videos deserves some appreciation!❤👏
I'm sad it didn't pay off for the potatoes though 😅. That "butter snack" made me cringe, eating solid butter like that. 😖
Naomi I wish you came to Mexico to do a street food tour and try things like “elote” or “esquite” topped with flaming hot cheetos, spicy food, etc 🫶🏼
THAT WAS ONE OF MY MIDDLE SCHOOL LUNCHES
@@nikkijones2723 honestly, that was the lunch I always looked forward to! Pizza day and walking taco day 🤣
Europeans don’t have a large percentage of Hispanic people. It’s not normal to them but if a recipe goes viral on tiktok, it’s called a trend.
I'm from the midwest and we had that for lunch from elementary to high school but almost always with doritos.
@@sophieb5505 Doritos sounds like a superior way to prepare a walking taco lmaooo!
How Vincent literally likes almost nothing or max „it‘s okay“ and Naomi is really excited about it😂😂
19:26 literally thought she was frying a stick of butter lmao

13:59 *so cute! :) Thank you for this video :). Hi from London the kingdom of fish and chips :)*
Love the makeup look it’s so creative and the white waterline with the eyeshadow and the purple lenses is such an adorable comboooo 😵💜💜
ranch seasoning mixed with buttermilk & mayo makes ranch! i used to make ranch all the time at my job loll, its very easy! we’d make it with 2 packets, a gallon of buttermilk, and half a gallon (or a gallon?) of mayo. im sure the powders packaging have the correct recipe on them! ♥️
I love how she and Vincent post together love them so much ♥️
Ranch was created in Alaska so the miners could add calories to their mostly veggie diet. It's amazing 👏 😍
I actually really like that you end up making slightly dif versions of the recipes because when they do succeed then it makes me feel more like i could actually make them if that makes sense.
I'm sorry but i couldn't stop laughing when she said "the mutter has belted" 2:59 idk if anyone else noticed that but i loved it

I discovered your channel yesterday and I'm binging all your videos now. You are so much fun!
I love the way you edit your videos. They always make me laugh and put me in a good mood!
Mix the ranch powder with sour cream and dip your chips (or cheetos) in it! It's amazing 😏
The Dorito bag I believe is called a “waking taco”! I make them a lot and they’re AMAZING.
Walking tacos. You can walk and eat it. At least that is what it is called at all the fairs around here
Here in Canada the taco in a bag is very popular here. You'll find in at most festivals, from food trucks and even Mexican fast food places
