planeo hacer ese cambio de cluster y volante pero no necesito que funcionen los controles de radio, entonces si solo quiero controlar el cluster con el volante es simplemente cámbialo? Ósea plug y play?
Hi, so have to have cluster controlled from steering wheel (plan to change steering wheel and cluster, radio is android already so do not need radio data on cluster) I just need to connect that yellow cable from steering wheel to cluster? Cluster pin is 20 and steering that green one
With the steeeing wheel could have just ran the single wire from the back of the cluster to a gray plug under the dash on the driver side and add the pin to the 10th hole on left side of the plug under the two white wires. The wire for the steering wheel is already ran to said plug has the green and black wire from the clock spring.
@@Jorge.Rangel Only reason I know it is because I was able to get a harness and strip it down. I followed where every wire went. I watched your video and several other videos and started to do it the way you did and I thought to myself all these trucks have mostly the same wiring with some features not being ran. Sure enough the wire you tapped into is the stock sterring wheel wire for all these trucks. Its pinned on one side of the plug and a empty place for the other pin to the connecting plug. I don't know how much you have done to your truck but keep in mind they all have pretty much the same harness you just have to continue what the manufacturer left off.
I finally did the swap im only adding steering wheel control not radio so I already tapped in from the clockspring all good but i dont know where to tap in for the cluster pin
Jorge Rangel but dont you need new cluster for the controls to plug in for radio? And yes saw for the heated steering, but my truck dont have control for cluster and radio so i would need clock spring and wheel in order to work with new cluster.
Jorge Rangel but still would have to run wires to radio, but im thinking of upgrading cluster and steering on mine to, just waiting for someone on youtube like you to show us. So thanks for posting videos hope to watch part 2.

Correct. And your new DIC needs to be reprogramed to your Vin in order for that to work and your DIC needs to have some wires going into the controls and the radio module
