I feel that pixels follow the same pattern as Windows - every second product is good (as they improve on their innovations). I had pixels starting from pixel 4. Pixel 4 was a flop Pixel 5 success Pixel 6 was a flop Pixel 7 success Pixel 8 - I skipped (not sure) Pixel 9 - hopefully a success (nice design, smaller size for a pro (finally), third improvement on the tensor chip) Definitely optimistic about 9pro. Can't wait to order it. Not planning on getting Pixel 10 - I don't like being a guinea pig and be testing their new processor for them.
I am using a pixel 8 pro. It works super smooth on 98% of the time just like any other flagship phone. Yes it tends to overheat sometimes if we continiously shooting videos and photos for a long time. I think it is the same for apple and samsung flagships.
The Tensor G5 sounds like a first gen with a new manufacturer and new design. I think the Pixel 9 would be a safer bet for then upgrading to the Pixel 11/12 down the road.
I've had the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 7 and still use the 8 Pro and 7a. I've had zero issues with the functionality of the Tensor chip, no operation or heating issues. So I assume that somehow Google built me (and me only) faultless phones. Sorry 9to5Goocle but I don't agree with anything that you have said. No one uses any chip/processor to it full potential. Everything that you know about the G4 and the so called G5 is via rumour control via various websites. Absolutely nothing wrong from a reliability pov with Tensors. Unless the phone under review has a Samsung or Apple logo too many reviewers are critical and biased.
I love my Pixel6a. I have 0 reasons to upgrade at all, unless anything happens to my phone (that I baby). Overheating isn't an issue for me, the phone doesn't become inoperable. The camera is still fantastic and every program I've thrown at this thing doesn't lag, so why bother? I don't care much for the AI stuff. I did get the Gemini text support which is cool, but it's a gimmick at most to me. Not a requirement. Perhaps I will wait until the 10.
There's a lot of people that keep holding out for the better version ... Next year it'll be the Tensor 5 and hearing and the 6 and people holding out for that one. I for one, will be looking at that smaller Pixel Pro 9 ... I'm glad the announcement is only a month away
yup..i was jealous of my friend iphone xs still getting update and shit..he just change the battery and it still good to go for daily usage even tho gaming on it is hot af..😂
I'll wait for now. I've been using Pixel 8 Pro since the start of sales, it's not bad, but it gets very hot and, as a result, has poor battery life. What do I expect in the new Pixel: 1) Good software without bugs and lags, as well as with all the declared functions immediately from the start of sales. 2) Of course, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner (already available in 9 Pixel). 3) Face ID is like Apple. 4) Processor made by TSMC, no heat and with good power and energy efficiency. 5) Normal communication module. 6) Size no more than 6.2 inches, ergonomics like Pixel 8. 7). More premium frame materials and high-quality assembly of the device. 8) One inch camera sensor
I was happy with the 6 pro, went to a s23+ and switched back to the 6 pro for awhile. It started to show its issues with some latency and freezing and I've switched back to the s23+. I am getting the p9xl because I really enjoy the software experience a lot better than Samsung but am ready for the chip improvements from the G1 so it will be a beneficial upgrade for me.
Who cares? All these chips nowadays do everything and more you need to get done on your phone. The average consumer doesn't even use most of the power these chips have
@@crimson414 it is exactly the same thing. Power is the product of efficiency when the source of energy is the limiting factor. The more efficient the chip, the more power it can produce per unit of battery. Luckily to scroll Instagram doesn't really change in power requirements year on year and therefore doing it using less power = efficiency. That's why I'll never understand people like yourself who fail to see that SOC power increases year on year are infact improvments in efficiency and should always be achieved. Otherwise decrease the price for stagnant performance. Google has only those two options.
I think the biggest factor will be the modem they use, g3 is bad at mobile data battery life compared to snapdragon phones. If google will go with an efficient modem on the g5, it will be worth the wait.
Huge reason for thermal problems in current tensor cpus is lack of vapor chamber. While I'm waiting for the Pixel 10 (owning 8 pro) I hope they finally add it to the 9. Without it the G5 won't be such huge upgrade and will still have thermal issues.
With how we've known that Google was working toward a fully custom chip with tsmc for almost 2 years now, I think it's going to hit the scene similar to the m1. Not as powerful but ready for prime time.
For me nothing wrong with the current Tensor chips what I would want more is to get rid of the temperature sensor & finally add lidar sensor great for productivity & pro users.
you rarely want the first build as you are basically a bug tester, wait for Googles second TSMC chip the G6 once they have ironed out the kinks. and since my 7a gets updates until at least May 2026 I should be fine waiting.
The beauty of 7 years of updates is that you don't have to pick up a pixel on the day of release and you can buy the last year's phone cheaper. And we all know the Pixel 9 will be on sale.
I really want a well rounded package from Google but highly doubt it. In the past we have seen pixels plagued with issues in fp sensor, terrible overheating specially in India's heat and cellular issues. Tensor G5 has big promises but i will believe when i see it bcoz google hardware reputation is not that great....
I am happy with all Google 6 features with one exception ... the phone itself has many issues. Hope Google focuses on making a quality phone in the future. I really don't need most of the fancy features.
I bought the pixel 7 and 8, and I have the 9 on order. If the 9 does me good, I'll pre-order the 10. I get a brand new phone every year for a few hundred bucks, and that's not including whatever extras they throw in.
I have a Pixel 7 Pro and will likely upgrade to the 9...not so much because of the chipset but because usually it financially makes more sense to upgrade every two years vs three years. You get more money from trade in or selling a two year old phone vs a three year old phone. My 7 Pro is still running fairly well and the battery still holds up but the depreciation does play a factor, unless I plan to keep the phone like five years which I've never owned a phone more than three years. Which is when I realized it makes more sense to trade in after two years.
First fully customized chip ? Wasn't that what the tensor g1 was supposed to be? Google and their crap... We kind of had the same story coming from nexus to pixel series... I have had several nexus devices as well as some pixel devices. Currently on pixel 7 and man there are tons of issues that google just does not address, biggest problem being the network issues. When you loose connection and get no msgs or calls but the phone shows reception to be fine... Airplane toggle became my most used toggle to date... 😢
Been holding off for a folding phone, and I always liked the dimensions of the first Pixel Fold, but not the outdated chip. Do you think this year's will be worth getting?
Currently on the Pixel 6 Pro and it`s a tough choice. I will make the choice based on pre-order deal + trade in value for my current phone. If I get down to 600-700€ then I´ll probably upgrade and maybe trade in for the Pixel 10 next year if it´s really such a huge difference switching the manufacturing from Samsung to TSMC.
I have a Pixel 8 Pro that I like a lot. The only reason I'd have for upgrading to a Pixel 9 would be design. I don't believe performance will be drastically different from the 8 series. Though the processor may have some minor tweaks and efficiencies.
I am using the Pixel 6 Pro, my Display broke once. The repair shop didn't made the fingerprint sensor work again with the new screen. My Backcover broke and I repaired it by myself, but maybe I broke the NFC and Wireless charging while doing so. Also my Battery from the 6 Pro is down to around 85%. I wanted to wait for the 10, but I think I am going to grab the 9 Pro XL.
Of course I'd rather wait for the 10, but Google tends to forsake the previous generation as soon as they release a new one, only giving new software features to the new one. So that makes me consider the 9
I have a Pixel 6 and my phone is almost dying, I absolutely gonna buy the Pixel 9 and keep it again for 3 years and see how google handles their first steps of own soc.
The biggest undoing of Pixel phones is the battery life. It's lagging behind in comparison to the other flagships. Waiting to see battery life of P9P XL.
So considering that Google will have 2 plus years to work on the G5 I'm hoping they will offer something that's really good. The g4 seems like an after thought since they weren't able to secure the chips for the Pixel 9 from tsmc. I have a 6 and it's starting to show it's a age. I was really hoping the 9 would have a 3nm chip. I might go back to Samsung for a couple of years and get the s25. I really wanted a foldable but I wanted a future proof chip and the g4 is not future proof.
TSMC won't change much, this year Samsung nm node is on pair with tsmc one and tensor is still bad (exynos 2400 is better than tensor g4 and A17). Therefore, changing to TSMC will not do anything (because Google simply does not know how to design good chips) and the chips themselves will probably just be much more expensive, but no other change.
Is G3 still plagued with the reception and heating issues as well? It is any better than P7 as i am still contemplating upgrade to P8 but not sure how much better it would be.
@@fran2911 Damn, I guess I will just wait for P10 then when Googe revamps Tensor. I like the pixel experience but I am not liking the signal drops and the heating to move to P8 and risk the same.
Same here I think I made a big mistake switching from my old Note 10+ to P7 pro , the amount of bugs I'm having is not acceptable for a flagship phone, I'm waiting for the S25 ultra next year, honestly the whole Pixel experience is overrated
So I have a theory on this TSMC chip. From what I read they're responsible for mostly apple chips, and that's supposed to be a big great thing because apple has powerful chips. But I make the argument that those chips really aren't that powerful and IOS is just (as always) incredibly optimized. From my understanding people are complaining about lackluster gaming performance for the new AAA ports to the app store. Meanwhile Samsung phones are running Window 10 emulators and downloading PC games that are running incredibly well especially considering the lack of optimization and the strain of running it through an emulator. Samsung chips know android which is by nature an unoptimized experience due to it being open source. I have a feeling these TSMC chips are not going to do well for quite some time which is why I think I'll upgrade to the Pixel 9.
There hasn't really been a good reason to wait a whole year for a next generation of technology since like 2018, probably earlier than that. Get a phone when you need it. That being said, as good as the move to TSMC is going to be, the 2nd generation on TSMC will probably be the one to wait for if you were going to wait for a better chip. Give them a year to learn Tensor and how to best manufacture it.
Having an 8 and not being a person who needs to have the larest I'll wait a few months to see what the 10s looking like before deciding if its worth getting. Anyone looking at purchasing the 9 I wouldn't blame them. Best of luck whatever you decide.
Also, if they're doubling down on TSMC chip, the Pixel 9 upgrade might not be worth it. So if you're looking for a phone right now, I'd think Pixel 8 is still a good choice.
The issue isnt that tensor is slow. Its that its inefficient (which is a product of being weak), in addition charging as much as they do to give performance the iphone was giving 3 years ago is unforgivebale. They should be selling this sort of performance for $300-400 LESS than iphone prices.
I currently have a PXL 3 and need to upgrade fairly soon. Average user. Streaming music and using it for work emails, social media, etc. Better to do it now with the P8 or wait for the P9?
Definately wait for pixel 9 because in just a few weeks you would have option to either buy way much improved pixel 9 or very low priced pixel 8 as it will further lose the price!!
I have a 4xl for the unlimited google photos storage, but it’s only a backup phone i leave at home. Really interested in jumping in on the pixel 9,10, or 11
I've been a fan of Google phones since the first Nexus and never had one, I really wanted the Pixel 9 but they don't bring it to my country, I only saw Pro and Pro XL in some stores, I think I'll have to wait another year with my S20 FE with its shattered screen and detached back because, gotta be strong lol
Maybe my bar is too low. But I'm currently watching this on a pixel 6. I've never felt like my phone is slow or lacking power. Battery life is still pretty good. Not perfect but I don't find myself worried about my phone dying. My major complaint about this phone is the finger print sensor being slow and not working well with a screen protector. This phone has aged well for me. I have no desire to upgrade as of yet. Maybe in another few years.
I'm a huge fan of the new hardware design choice they've chosen to go with this generation, especially the matte finish. The only thing I want is better battery life & better sounding speakers as I do watch a lot of RUclips on my phone. Cellular connectivity could use some work as well. Other than that all good and will be upgrading 🙂🤗💯
While pixel does sell at a cheaper price that competitors, they still need to get a grip and lower the prices, their A series shouldnt start at 499... Bring back the 349 days...and slash the normal pixel and pro by 200$
I just got a insurance replacement for my pixel 6. Before I broke my phone, I was ALL IN on the 9 but now I'm not sure. I WAS having problems with my battery life but now, all my problems are gone so I think I can wait. Im not sure what to do, should I wait for the 10, buy the fold 2 when it goes on sale next year, or just jump right in with a fold 2 or a 9 pro?
I feel held back by Pixel and Android's very slow improvements, and I noticed every single issue with Tensor you mentioned in this video. I have been on Team Pixel since Pixel 3, and I am currently on Pixel 7 Pro. I don't know if I will keep myself on the Andoird and Pixel side. Now, I see Apple as a step forward in terms of battery life and device features. Even their maps are often finding better routes to avoid traffic congestion, more video recording resolution options available, and the list keeps going on.
I'm currently contemplating making the jump to a pixel 9. This would be my first pixel after using a Samsung s20 fe for the last 4 years. Is it worth making the jump or should I wait?
My mom have the exynos s24 I can say that its a improvement from the snapdragon 8 gen 1 in her previous s22 and the internet connection is getting stable. Its big improvement from my moms old s10e with exynos 9820.
I am not waiting for Pixel 10 Pro and will upgrade my Pixel 7 Pro to Pixel 9 Pro hopping that it will have much better battery life than my current Pixel 7 Pro.
It's very funny to read people talking about the tensor chips not being good enough or fast enough 😅 if you are not a mobile "gamer" it doesn't matter 😊it's more than good enough for everything else 🎉
My pixel 6 pro has been a good sidekick for me but I'm definitely feeling an upgrade for camera and battery life mainly...also screen brightness. I'm tired of barely being able to see my phone outside 😂
Tensor G1 was first gen and TSMC G5 will be first gen - Google will need to integrate with hardware again so I reckon G6 or G7 will be cooking. I'm still using Pixel 6 so my issue is to maximise trade-in value which means P8 or P9 may be considered and then P11 or P12 jump. Pricing looks like increasing so that may change this plan!
i'm pretty sure samsung's chips are not gonna improve enough to be nearly as efficient, but i really hope they do, because right now it's a tsmc monopoly
It's not option for me anymore to wait. Gotta replace my 4 years old Pixel 3a since the battery unable to hold the power like it used to be. Might wait for Pixel 9 launch, it's either Pixel 9 or Pixel 8.
I bought the 1st Google buds & the Pixel 6, immediately they were available- all gen 1s. What that taught me was : Wait!!! Wait for the Gen 2 or 3. Even with the Google watch. 1st gen is...meh...but the gen 3 looks very very promising. So, I'd rather buy the 9 and upgrade to the 11 or 12.
Tensor needs more power and efficiency . The current minor improvements are not enough to keep up with rivals like Qualcomm snapdragon and Apple silicon.
I will update to the 9 pro, and hold of on the 10...New chips and Google usually dont mix well, if I hear really great reviews I'll hop on the 10...if not I'll wait. UNLESS there are CRAZY carrier/Best Buy deals for the 10...If I have to pay around 250 for the 10 I'll nab it, that's what I paid for my 8.
I will very likely buy the pixel 9 (probably the pro version). I live in Europe and currently have a S22 with a really bad Samsung Chip, the chip from the Pixel 9 cant be worse.
As much as the TSMC is awaited, we should not forget it'll be the first gen chip and Google is famous for messing up their first gen products. Meanwhile G4 is going to be the most refined SoC in a pixel fot the next 2 years

As an owner of the standard Pixel 8 who is quite content-as an non-gamer & non-creator-I'm planning to wait for the [TSMC/G5] Pixel 10.
If only Google partnered up with Qualcomm during the initial years of chip-making.😢
They had contract
Can you explain what contract they had or give us a link to it please..
@@MohanDas-ne4ci I don't really remember but they are working with Samsung untill 2025
I really love my Pixel 8 Pro and I have had almost no issues with it. I can count on one hand easily over heating, it hasn't been a problem for me. Everything else has run fine and I feel it has gotten better over time. For me the chance of an ultrasonic finger print sensor and a smaller phone with top specs make me consider trading in my beautiful Google Pixel 8 Pro. I just don't know what to do yet.
So I currently have a 6a, a 7, and an 8 pro. Love the 8 pro. It works for me since I'm all in on Pixel. I'm definitely getting a pixel 9 pro. The design I've seen looks great. I'm also going to get the pixel 10 or pixel X or whatever they'll call it. I definitely want to experience what that tensor G5 will be like.
I was going to wait for the Pixel 10 because of the shift to TSMC Tensor G5 but knowing Google it will have bugs. So I will wait for the Pixel 11 after getting the Pixel 9 in the next couple of months.
If you're worried about the pixel 10 having bugs, why are you getting a pixel phone at all?
@@alexisaguirrevazquez7900 First, I'm a Google fan and I have owned nothing but Pixel way back when they were Nexus phones. Second, its the fact that Google will make their first chipset without Samsung "holding their hand" So I will proceed with caution. (LOL)
@@washinma44 That's not how it works. It's the same architecture as before, they're just switching to a more efficient node.
TSMC won't change much, this year Samsung nm node is on pair with tsmc one and tensor is still bad (exynos 2400 is better than tensor g4(much better than g4) and A17). Therefore, changing to TSMC will not do anything (because Google simply does not know how to design good chips) and the chips themselves will probably just be much more expensive, but no other change
I've got a pixel 6 and happy ish with it , i was going to get the 9 but i think I'll wait until the 10 comes out.
I feel that pixels follow the same pattern as Windows - every second product is good (as they improve on their innovations). I had pixels starting from pixel 4.
Pixel 4 was a flop
Pixel 5 success
Pixel 6 was a flop
Pixel 7 success
Pixel 8 - I skipped (not sure)
Pixel 9 - hopefully a success (nice design, smaller size for a pro (finally), third improvement on the tensor chip)
Definitely optimistic about 9pro. Can't wait to order it.
Not planning on getting Pixel 10 - I don't like being a guinea pig and be testing their new processor for them.
I loved my Pixel4 XL; just because "sales" didn't do too well, doesn't mean it was a "technical" flop, but I see your point.
I am using a pixel 8 pro. It works super smooth on 98% of the time just like any other flagship phone. Yes it tends to overheat sometimes if we continiously shooting videos and photos for a long time. I think it is the same for apple and samsung flagships.
Try playing games on your pixel then you'll definitely see the difference.
@@Muhammadehtesham-pv8omWhy do I need to fake on a smartphone? I have a pc for that purpose 🤣
With my previous experience with Google Gen 1 hardware, I am getting a 9 and will wait until 11 to move to the TSMC version. LOL
Hope you all enjoyed!! What are we thinking? Is it worth waiting for the Tensor G5 or moving forward with the G4?
I think I'll buy the base Pixel 9, then get Pixel 10 Pro depending on its flaws
I like that you mentioned "broken or outdated" that fits me perfectly 😂
There's a lot of people that keep holding out for the better version ... Next year it'll be the Tensor 5 and hearing and the 6 and people holding out for that one. I for one, will be looking at that smaller Pixel Pro 9 ... I'm glad the announcement is only a month away
It works for me that I only have to wait a month to (I assume Pre-order) cuz I basically broke my phone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I will keep my Pixel 7 one more year
Why I want a future-proof phone?
It’s because they offer us the consumers a 7-year promise, with a price tag on it.
yup..i was jealous of my friend iphone xs still getting update and shit..he just change the battery and it still good to go for daily usage even tho gaming on it is hot af..😂
I got a Pixel 8 Pro currently but im in love with the Pixel 9 look so i will upgrade to a pixel 9 when its released regardless.
Can you remove the search bar from the home screen?
I am getting the p9xl because I really enjoy the software experience a lot better than Samsung but am ready for the chip improvements from the G1 so it will be a beneficial upgrade for me.
how about cameras do you prefer pixel ines or sansung?
@@user-gx9wt7dn3t hy , for me , i prefer apple and Google camera , it's the most reliable to what you see by your eyes , Samsung is good though
Who cares? All these chips nowadays do everything and more you need to get done on your phone. The average consumer doesn't even use most of the power these chips have
There's more to that, like a crappy modem, insane battery drain, heat, etc.
The more powerful your chip, the more efficient it is. So no. It ALWAYS matters.
@@supaahflyyNot the same thing.
Google has only those two options.
it will matter 5 years later though.
I can't wait till pixel 10...its the time to upgrade from my Pixel 3...
damn, 7 years? you'll actually fully extract the value of 7yr OS updates offered by these phones
I updated from p3xl to p8
bro... raw dogging it with no security updates 😭
I'm thinking it's too early, but it's all good. We'll be looking forward to the G4 in the Pixel 9, If it's going to live up to expectations.
I just recently got a Pixel 8 and am happy with it, probably gonna keep it until at least the Pixel 12.
@@AppleReviews Same here. I had the PIxel 6 Pro and yeah, that was a nightmare. Went back to Apple til the S23U came out now I want the P9 XL
Google's tensor chips are a joke, as an owner of Pixel 6, 7 pro, and 8 pro.
Ive had no problem with the P6 I've been using for 3 years
What's the joke?
Had this question for so long. Planning to get the 9Pro to upgrade from my 4xl
Using the pixel 7 rn and I don't think I'll be upgrading it soon. And I really love my 7. So, I'm gonna wait for the 10.
I really want a well rounded package from Google but highly doubt it. In the past we have seen pixels plagued with issues in fp sensor, terrible overheating specially in India's heat and cellular issues. Tensor G5 has big promises but i will believe when i see it bcoz google hardware reputation is not that great....
my Pixel 7 just has poor display brightness even indoors and battery life is falling short too so I'm considering getting the Pixel 9
And the fingerprint sensor is piss poor
I just want a smart phone that can actually maintain a reliable phone call... Seems to be a smoke dream at this point.
I am happy with all Google 6 features with one exception ... the phone itself has many issues. Hope Google focuses on making a quality phone in the future. I really don't need most of the fancy features.
Currently using 8 pro. I am 100% waiting for 10 pro!
The design of the Pixel 9 series is wild !!!
I'm not 9-5, but I think so. :)
I love my Pixel 7. I think the OS updates expire right around the time the Pixel 10 comes out, so I'll be waiting for the 10 Pro.
Before playing the video: predictions- wait for the *G5 to come around, but if it’s been a while since you upgraded, the G4 will be great too.
I have a Pixel 8 Pro that I like a lot. The only reason I'd have for upgrading to a Pixel 9 would be design. I don't believe performance will be drastically different from the 8 series. Though the processor may have some minor tweaks and efficiencies.
I have been using tensor chef from pixel 6 pro to pixel 7 pro. And i have no issues at all. Im running beta version always. Well done google. 🇳🇬
So that makes me consider the 9
Grabbing the 9 pro, first gen usually has defects (things to work out, ex. P6)
It's tsmc they're the most experts in the world
I have a Pixel 6 and my phone is almost dying, I absolutely gonna buy the Pixel 9 and keep it again for 3 years and see how google handles their first steps of own soc.
Same issues, I'm waiting until they stop scamming people with their underdelivering power hog heater of a chip, and have a good modem.
Just wait for the 10, my Pixel 8 is already starting to stutter.
They should be selling this sort of performance for $300-400 LESS than iphone prices.
but Tensor G4 is very efficient bro. It's slow chip but very cold, with good sot and good modem.
I am in the same boat as you and will be waiting for the Pixel X
Smaller Pro version is already a major reason for updating from 8 Pro for me
I feel held back by Pixel and Android's very slow improvements, and I noticed every single issue with Tensor you mentioned in this video.
My pixel journey as follows: Started with the 3, went to the 6, currently on the 7,will upgrade to the 10
I'm currently contemplating making the jump to a pixel 9. This would be my first pixel after using a Samsung s20 fe for the last 4 years. Is it worth making the jump or should I wait?
If the rumored prices are to be believed, you're paying $900 baseline for a beta product, unstable processor and unguaranteed features
They must boost the performance for smoothness, BUT they MUST fix the modems I still have connectivity issues with the 9 pro
missing clip at 0:22
NEVER buy a first gen Google product.
My mom have the exynos s24 I can say that its a improvement from the snapdragon 8 gen 1 in her previous s22 and the internet connection is getting stable. Its big improvement from my moms old s10e with exynos 9820.
Yeah, this year exynos, samsung manufacturing node and modem is on pair with Qualcomm and TSMC :D
That's not how it works.
i'm pretty sure samsung's chips are not gonna improve enough to be nearly as efficient, but i really hope they do, because right now it's a tsmc monopoly
It's not option for me anymore to wait. Gotta replace my 4 years old Pixel 3a since the battery unable to hold the power like it used to be. Might wait for Pixel 9 launch, it's either Pixel 9 or Pixel 8.
Plot twist . They actually have the actual Pixel 9 for reviews .
I'll get the 9 Pro XL and the 10 Pro XL too...😂❤
I will update to the 9 pro, and hold of on the 10...New chips and Google usually dont mix well, if I hear really great reviews I'll hop on the 10...if not I'll wait. UNLESS there are CRAZY carrier/Best Buy deals for the 10...If I have to pay around 250 for the 10 I'll nab it, that's what I paid for my 8.
I'm very happy with my 7 Pro, I plan to wait for the 10
Ill be getting the pixel 9 only because my pixel 8 pro has modem connection issues 😢
Wait, the tensor chip in its current manufacturing state is not great. Power management and overheating are the killer.
Google always finds a way to ruin user experience, like the useless under screen finger print scanner
Meanwhile G4 is going to be the most refined SoC in a pixel fot the next 2 years
The tensor g5 isn't a first Gen chip though.
