To all the haters I recommend visiting South Africa , Johannesburg specifically if you want to experience terrible air and garbage pollution. You won't need to visit India to get an idea of how bad pollution has become here.

China stresses the greater good and basic human rights (safety, food, shelter) over individual rights. The US places individual rights above all else. In the US you have the right to be homeless, buy guns, curse at anyone you like whenever you want, shoplift, etc.
