    I have been living in New York for 20 years as a Chinese immigrant. I didn't have a choice when I moved here with my parents back then. Now, China is prosperous and highly modernized. I just returned from China two weeks ago, and compared to the current state of the U.S., which feels more backward and unsafe, I really want to move back to China. However, I have a family here, so I need to plan it out. For those who haven't been to China, believe me, when you visit, you'll find it incredibly developed, and the people are very friendly. Honestly, every time I come back to New York from China, I feel like the U.S. is falling behind.Especially the dirty and unsafe old public transportation system, including the subway, as well as infrastructure that lags behind China by at least 10 years. Add to that the ongoing inequality and discrimination against minorities like us in the U.S., and to be honest, I’m increasingly not wanting to stay in America。

    Maybe its in the West...
    But in most Asian country... Its absolutely normal for people to be out at night... In Singapore, where I live, it isn't much different from China. The shopping mall and streets are full of people and families with children. No one is fearful of being in the streets late at night. Since I work shift... I've seen woman jogging on their own in the public pavement next to streets, 4am in the morning...

      Maybe it's because your entire country is only equivalent to a medium-sized city in China, while there are at least ten super cities of the size of Chongqing in China, plus hundreds of medium-sized cities with a population of over three million. The management difficulty is completely different.

    • @hloc
      @hloc Месяц назад

      @@Chenmusen-s8o Possible too... but even in big cities in the West, its NOT the whole city that is dangerous... but only in certain areas. Surely the Police or Law enforcement could keep those areas, which could not be as big as my country, safe or at least less dangerous...

      @@hloc Speaking of big cities in the West, London has a population of 9 million, Bannu has a population of 3 million, New York has a population of 9 million, Los Angeles has a population of less than 5 million, and Milan has a population of 8 million. Almost half of these cities are full of fraud, robbery, violence, and thieves, especially at night. It is impossible to guarantee travel safety.

    I've been to Chongqing once and have missed it ever since. Chongqing is the most special city I have ever seen. It is a cyberistic city with convenient transportation, developed commerce, and artistic architecture. It also has many beautiful natural sceneries and cultural landscapes in its suburbs. Chongqing locals are very friendly too. It is a city with more than 3,000 years of historical heritage, and I would visit it again.

    非常中肯且友好的博主。但是,个人不建议做太多这种测试,我们要相信人性有两面,有天使 就会有 魔鬼。所以,整体来说,我们的国家是很安全的,但是,对于个人财产,个人建议 非真的临时遗忘,还是尽量随身携带。

      Every country has imperfections, and our politics are looking better than others right now! And the South China Sea is China's! You Philippines have to come together with the United States, and do not want to think that the United States will really help you? They use you as pawns, and when things go wrong, they run away. They like to deceive their Allies. On the contrary, when the Philippines has a harmonious relationship with China, does it not develop faster and better? Think about it for yourselves.

    Alex truly hit the nail on the head by giving the example of the relationship between what the US corporate buyers want to pay vs the quality of the goods being manufactured. Walmart pays 20¢ to Chinese manufacturers and sells the item for $5 in the US vs a high-end company pays $200 and sells it for $3000 in the US, the qualities will be different. One can't expect a manufacturer to produce a $100 quality item that cost them $20 to manufacture, but charges only 20¢ for it.
