keep being positive, and enjoy everthing in fullness. that's what I'd like to share with my life. bad shxt happens, all the time, but it won't slow you down if you just take it as what it was and move on, learn from your mistakes, and improve things that can be improved, and let go things that can't be changed.
What do you do about capital gains tax on your investments? Were you never tempted to teach in Bahrain or somewhere with 0 income tax and 0 capital gains tax? This is my favourite teaching abroad channel since Ben Teaches English disappeared. :)
@@viewpointabroad I bet they'd have difficulty enforcing that if you had a second passport and they couldn't find you, if you're not planning on going back of course.
I’d advise against it. Just pay what you or give up the benefits of being American and get a citizenship in a tax friendly country if you really wanna avoid taxes. It’s worth paying the taxes to have the benefits of being American 🇺🇸
Some great advice 👍

How did the brokerage firms find out you live abroad? Don’t you use a vpn?
Had to call customer service.

No matter where in the world you live if you’re American you’re obligated to pay taxes in America. No way around it.
