My mum used to own one of the cookie cutter MP3s with usb. The only thing it had on it was a recording of her nan talking, as she had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and was projected to lose speech in a few years. Fast forward to around a year before she died, she was non verbal, wouldn’t really do anything, and needed constant care. that Mp3 player is a clone of a phillips one from back in the day, that was actually a hidden gem of a player.

This was a perfect dankpods video. So many nuggets.
I found the MP3 in a drawer and begun messing around with it, accidentally wiping everything in it. I didn’t know, but one of my core memories is my mum crying over a blank MP3 and you made me remember that.
"It's CRAAAAAAAP!"

It’s always a thursday, the best day
That awkward moment when you feel nostalgic for the absolute worst mp3s but Damn it was my mp3 player.
Same haha. I had one in red and it got me through alot.
I had a thumbdrive one in white. Loved the hell out of it
It's so weird listening to content creators' old content when they had just started, where their voice is lower pitched and quieter
Coming back to this after watching the 2020 Bootleg Bonanza is quite the whiplash
“Hee-unday” I don’t know if that’s another Haitch pc situation or something else...
It’s also how Australians pronounce it, which shows that they’re smarter than Americans.
@Ilzy it's not "hee" though. It's hyun, it's supposed to be said in a quicker way so it's one sound.
@@insert_username_here Americans usually pronounce the first bit correct. Australians pronounce the second bit correct. I've only ever met Korean speakers who pronounce it entirely correct. It's got nothing to do with smartness lmao you're just looking for a reason to belittle Americans
@@NamiNuitsuki “looking for a reason to belittle Americans” nah, I don’t need to look, there’s plenty of reasons. :P
I'm sure the US Army appreciated the mp3 player review. they'll subscribe, ring the bell and drone strike you.
So much quality “oh my pkcell” lines today! Truly a blessing.
I think that Kelloggs one is why their workers are striking

My dad actually had that type of mp3 player and it lasted a long time TBH.
sure brings back memories
you've made me call earbuds dirtybuds constantly and i cant stop
I like the look of those Hyundai earbuds, actually. The blue cylindrical design with the white tops make them look like two drink cooler boxes that were shrunken down and turned into nugget audio devices.
10:46 the cheap headphones fight back
I got one of these EXACT SAME MP3 PLAYERS from one of my friend's birthday parties. His family was kinda wealthy and gave them to all of us as party favors, I thought it was the coolest thing at the time. Little did I know...
when he transitioned into the US Army one I bursted laughing.
The fact that it's the Reserve, too, somehow makes it more hilarious
