Seeing Max squeeze those headphones despite being told not to brings back memories from school of every time you bring in something valuable and other kids are just completely awful people
that pained me to watch. I know they're probably fine but he wasn't joking, that can break those headphones. those ribbons are fairly delicate but they sound amazing

That last bit with Wade going on about the him and the business man being in the same position really hit hard, especially since I just had that moment a week ago not even.
Now I’m only 17 and up until this point I though I knew what I wanted to do, go on to be an engineer or mechanic of some kind and work till I retire. But my dad was a aircraft mechanic and I remember watching him come home being exhausted, hell I almost never saw the guy til he quit his job because of how much he hated it. Now I’m working a job and I’m thinking to myself, “how different will working a aircraft mechanic job be to a job at a sushi place(besides the fact that they are completely different in every other way)” and that really got me thinking. I needed to do something else that I would love to the day died rather than a job I’ll work for 20 years and hate to the bitter end.
Other than that, really cool episode, really weird seeing Wade’s face after like 2 years, even after some of his drum streams.
What helped me when I was just starting out, was trying all sorts of traits through internships. If it’s a good company they put you right to work and you can experience what a job in that field is like without the commitment. Even if you start working somewhere full time, it doesn’t mean you have to work there for the next 20 years. If you put in the effort and people like working with you, you become more confident yourself and know what you’re worth. That way it will be much easier in the future to pick something to do for a living that’s fun and allows you to live a good life.
Wade is a good example because the guy has a hell of a work ethic. If you’re that dedicated and meticulous about how you approach things you can be successful in a lot of things. Just keep in mind, that character traits like that are built upon experience, character development and confidence. All of those develop over time, so don’t pressure yourself.
You’re totally right. I made it through 3 engineering internships and into my senior year of college when all of a sudden I realized I hated it and my life was gonna be shit if I stayed. Every profession is right for someone, but engineering wasn’t right for me. Now I’m bartending making $60/hour 3 nights a week and I’m happy as a clam :) follow what makes you happy

This had to have been the most introspective video I’ve watched and I’m all for it, dankpods seems so mentally healthy with how he talks about how he’s gotten to where he is and I really hope he is as happy as he seems
its why his videos are as good as they are, they just radiate his positive attitude and easy going way of handling things
@@bastik.3011 Maybe it's in his nature of being an Aussie, maybe it's because he's already been through most of the hardships life has to offer and learned to accept them and roll with the blows, or maybe because he's at a place where most of us have only dreamed of: where even the wildest of fantasies are but an arm's length away.
Regardless, we should all for thankful to the Aussie nugget man.
I think 36:37 sums it up the best. This story here is what a lot of people don’t understand about life, and it’s a story that my father has told me just under a year ago. It doesn’t matter if you make big money like he does - almost 140k a year. He’s still not satisfied because he’s working a job he doesn’t like. As soon as me and my sister moves out, he’s getting a comfortable job and downsizing so that he can be happy.

That story at the end was actually so inspirational. You can really tell Dankpods is a smart dude with the way he manages so thoroughly articulate every thought he has.
DankPods is such an uplifting guy, I wasn't even interested in audio or iPods but I subbed and stuck around, and I really enjoy the content. Still find it weird how I found his channel because someone used a clip of him saying "na-no" in a video showing broken Google Translate stuff.

@floopyflobsame, I was looking up bone conduction headphones because I needed something that would let me hear music/podcasts and not cover my ears. Bought some and then several weeks later RUclips did that thing all internet algorithms do and said "remember that one time purchase item you looked up 2 months ago and you most likely already bought? Here's more!"

@@chill_hamtheir podcast are slightly more tame (depends on the guest), but their other content definitely does get hectic and you will shed a tear seeing them break valuable stuff while being blackout drunk
Love seeing people who are so genuinely interested in a subject, the way he talks about audio with so much passion is so cool. I’ve seen only a handful of videos from him reviewing products but I had no idea his knowledge went that deep

I’ve seen Dank’s face a lot and it still surprises me every time.
Being a die hard cold ones and dankpod fan I remember my first time asking for this collab and I'm so overjoyed.

I don't know who DankPods is. I've never heard of him until seeing this episode, and I don't particularly care about the content he makes (more power to him for what he loves doing). But this has to be one of the best Cold Ones episodes because of DankPods' perspective on life. Brilliant banter. Loved it!

Yes, yes. I agree with your friend Max & Chad. The pop of a PM Tin is about the best sound one can hope to hear. And the sound must always be announced or shared if you're with company in the 'cracking' of the tin.
