- In January, 2020, HMAC hosted two EDM events at Stage On Herr, two weekends in a row, and we did the lighting and sound production for both of them, so we figured we'd just put both in one gig log!

Hi SLM Team, I was wondering whether you guys have been affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic to the point where you have had to close your business? Just wondering as you haven't uploaded a video in over two and a half years and I love your content. Your one of the reasons I got into the industry! :)

We are still in business! May make an update video at some point, and there are still videos we want to make
Basically, since covid, a fair majority of our work is contracting for other companies, and we don't make gig logs for projects that are not direct. We do plan on doing more direct outreach to customers but are still happy doing what we're doing

What are you using for side fills
There are no side fills. The dancefloor is only like 30ft wide

Okay just wondering, how tf did you guys not get feedback from the artist's microphone @1:55 ??? I'm genuinely intrigued!! At some moments he had his microphone pointed directly to the speakers! 😱🤯
I'm pretty sure the x32 rack has an anti- feedback feature.
DJ Jer Lighting Productions That’s called being able to properly tune a PA and EQ a mic :)
Good gain structure and compression, I rang out the PA ahead of time, and the MC asked to have his vocal just slightly buried beneath the music.

Looked super good! In my opinion, a lil front light might have been a good idea because you can't really see the artist... Might have been different irl tho..
definitely always want front light here, but i can't patch into the house rig and there's no way for us to feasibly deploy it with the small budgets we get at this venue
@@dougberry4674 maybe silly, but landscape mirror props on stage w/ pinspots pointed at em? Maybe custom curved mirror props.
plz use jbl top and bass which are unpowered it is my guaranty that they are awesome they are best and loud speakers
i have around 50 lakh indian ruppees seakers of jbl only and i am very only 14 but i am a dj i will recomend jbl only
make sure that they are unpowered

Qsc sidefills
No side fills, but they have qsc speakers as their house rig. We weren't using them though
