Got the dual 18 from rcf. Killer bass
5:54 is just plain out cool! Great rcf pa man!!, man the engineer had no mercy on the kick drum!😂
RCF : How much base u want ? Venue : Yes.
i really don't understand what people like about rcf so much. it's not a bad product by any means, but it's also not worthy of the endless fanboying i see on the internet these days
@@dougberry4674 RCF is realy not that good. Even DB technologies t8 have a smoother sound. Coupled with the s30n subs. RCF I feel doesn't tune their speakers as good as they could. Martin mla mini is my favorite line array next to the l acoustics k2
@@KAYBE_CO you do know db technologies is part of rcf right?
@@soundfreak8892 Yes, but somehow their speakers still spound better than RCF
Cool video man, but how did you create that symmetric circle on avolites? Can't seem to figure it out😜🤔
DitIsTijn pixelmaping and shapes
Or snaps and effect
shape generator, fixture direction and offset
Welcome Back RCF
i really don't understand what people like about rcf so much. it's not a bad product by any means, but it's also not worthy of the endless fanboying i see on the internet these days
@@dougberry4674 I also don't understand the fanboying of a berhinger x32🤣🤣🤣😷
@@soundfreak8892 well the x32 actually has a lot of great features at the price, it's a vastly more full-featured board compared to say a soundcraft board at the same price. there are identifiable *objective* reasons why people like the x32, but there are far less reasons apparant of why people like rcf, especially at it's cost
@@dougberry4674 yeah they may like it but then they over react and dare try to compare it to a Allen Heath sq7 the berhinger x32 sounds like crap it runs at 24 khz which is awful and latency is terrible... But I will admit that for the price it's a solid console my church has one and it does the job .. Besides that I think Rcf is a great company I've gotten to mix on a digico s21 and the rcf HDL 50 with the 9006 subs and it sounded amazing.. but I do agree they are a little too pricy and I will admit that rcf users can get real cocky sometimes and try to compare it to Martin audio or even l acoustics.
What the heck is that rig at 16:35? Looks like OBS, were they livestreaming that show? They have the bandwidth to do that but not hire their own LD? Looks like there are 5 monitors on that rig, and they tour with that? crazy..
no no no, who said anything about touring rigs? not a single piece of the lighting, video, or sound rig in this video tours with the band
all those monitors and such are the venues in house VJ / camera rig. they do have the ability to live stream. which they do sometimes, but they also have screens in other lounges and rooms in the venue which always broadcast what's happening in the main room. they also can of course display the output of the cameras on the main LED wall upstage, so if they wanna do a tight shot on the lead singer, or do some cool stylized looks basically using the artists as graphic content like what you see on the screen at 14:32 with the keyboard player.
nigel, the house VJ / camera op, is incredible. his ability to multitask so many tasks while staying totally on cue in the moment is perhaps the single most talented feat i've seen. it's beyond belief that he is not touring with someone. he knew as little as i did about the set list for this show, and his execution in my opinion was borderline perfect ESPECIALLY considering he was just busking off the cuff like me
Got some 18” subs from rcf aswell. Man those things kick and really dig deep!
They're very meh considering the price lol
@@Pigatto17 not rlly lol
matze media what are you talking about? For the price of two of those I could buy 4 Martin SXH218 and an amp to go along with them. Those would absolutely destroy two of those RCFs
@@Pigatto17 then u have no clue about the 9007 and the 8004 lmao
Always keep in mind... Passive and active
What subs are you using
We were doing lighting only
wtf did you do with the ma?
not use it. can't you tell?
@@dougberry4674 but you throw it aside so rude ;)
Great gig guys! Was wondering why don't you guys use any front lights? The artists are always in the dark
We do use front lights, in fact you can see them in use many times throughout this video. We just don't commonly run front lights on a warm white at max brightness for shows like this where that would not only kill the vibe, but also go against the artists' requests.
Yea my bad saw them at Exmag. Just reacted a bit to fast
16:15 engineer had no mercy on the subs😭
LOL the tech likes to ram the subwoofer and just clip that kick drum 😂
Lol they killing everything 😂😂
mmmmmmmmmmm bass
Uh that's my style of bass if it's your style too then lemme see it when you click that down there
👇🏻
you like clipping mics
@@Bkoded yes xD
What happened to you guys getting all hopped up on how bad the low end was?
What do you mean?
@@alexberry3833 I believe it was your first video at this club, and you mentioned that the FOH sound engineer was not great and rode those RCF subs too high or something. Put a whole thing in the video description about it. Did anything change between that event and this one? It sound the same to me
@@RF-sq1lw Ah yes, so Club XL has rotating sound engineers, and at that event the sound engineer had the subs way too loud and the tops way too quiet, but only during Akof, and the engineer blamed it on Akof. Like, they have subs on an aux send and the guy was 100% blaming the artist saying there was absolutely nothing he could do to fix it.
This event had a different sound engineer, as did the NYE event, and both NYE and this event sounded much better, in fact this event was the best sounding Club XL event that I've been to so far. The reason it sounds similar on camera is just because they do like to run the subs at max output, and that's a lot of bass. So while there was a similar amount of bass at this event to the Akof event, the tops were balanced much better to the subs, AKA actually loud enough. In the Akof video, there are a lot of moments where you can clearly hear people talking in the crowd. It wasn't just that the bass was too loud, but that the tops were so quiet half the time you could barely even make out what the song was.
@@alexberry3833 Ah ok makes sense! Regardless, great job like always. Seems like touring is in your guys' midst!
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SLM USE RCF SUBS!!!
They don't meet our quality & value standards. I doubt we will ever deploy an RCF system if we are given the choice
@@dougberry4674 then use jbl vtx lmao
@@soundfreak8892 we'll stick with martin audio
