Well, Kratos, you do owe Freya a son...
He would be happy to oblige lol
The Valhalla DLC has so many layers to uncover, offering insights that feel relevant to real-life situations. I think I understand Kratos' inner thoughts-his fears, his doubts. He’s struggling with what it means to rule now because, in the past, he abused his powers as the Greek God of War, and he’s determined not to become that kind of god again. Kratos is unsure of what he should stand for, what his title as the God of War should represent, and how he should fulfill his role without losing himself to the violent, vengeful persona he once embodied. That part of him died with Olympus, leaving him lost, unsure of how to carry this title without repeating the past and leading to more ruin.
It resonated with me and my own fears of being alone. I left my family for certain reasons, and then found someone who I truly loved. But being with them stirred up old memories of my former self-someone who was vulnerable and easily hurt. I’m not sure how to move forward, but playing the Valhalla DLC helped me realize that I have what it takes; I just need to make peace with the past, embrace my growth, and never abandon the new values I’ve gained by leaving.
The DLC is the best part of Ragnarök in my opinion and much of it has to do with the points you have presented, good on you for being open brother, people don't realize how much impact sharing their own experiences can have, and someone reading your comment may gain some comfort to know that they're not alone and it's our struggles that unite us, appreciate you for sharing your thoughts bro!
Tyr. A god of war that Kratos can truly respect.
"What is in there?"
"Only what you take with you"
Funny how that one line is almost like the main lesson for Kratos throughout the DLC!
0:32 Kratos rather go to therapy than to see Freya face to face
Hahahaha so true!
is this ACTUALLY Tyr? or is it, yknow, the other guy? (spoilers)
@@gideonandrus5785 I’m pretty certain it’s Tyr since Odin didn’t really mess with Valhalla, at least according to Mimir in this piece of dialogue:

Plus all this takes place after the events of Ragnarok.
You can tell the two apart from each by looking at the y in his name the imposter doesn’t have the weird comma will the actual Týr does
It's really Tyr Odin got packed up by Sindri
