Why do they have 25 people standing by and watch you ask ? Simple one team is known as a fast team, or RIT team, Rapid Intervention Team, they are there specificity to rescue a fire fighter who may become trapped ,or injured. The second group is a man power pool, they relieve fire fighters periodically so no one becomes exhausted working the fire.
If you’re going to take advantage of master stream operations on a house this size & involved in fire you can’t let crews operate a hand line from the interior at all due to harm to the FF. Also walls were compromised due to advanced fire conditions on arrival of the local fd.
@@timmied8461 I don’t know if you are aware, we do not have OXYGEN in our tanks on our back, It’s compressed breathing AIR, oxygen and fire do not mix, it could be an explosive event.. I wish main stream news would stop reporting that also.. thank you for y.our comment
Always sad to see families go through the loss in a fire, especially during the winter holidays. Glad everyone is ok. Great video, especially the IR part!!
Agree with you Val! Plus Command pulled the interior Attack FFs before Defensive mode with the Tower. Nice TIC display along with the fireground action! As always - great videos!
Childhood memories at Holiday City. My grandparents had a new house built there in 1982 before they moved to FL. It's called "city" because the development is HUGE.
My understanding of "fully involved" displays much heavier fire than this. I was not there but it looks to me that this could have been an interior attack, causing much less water damage than this😊

Val glad to have someone that knows what they are talking about making comments.
Not mention, they have a limited amount of oxygen in their tanks, so replacement FF's are also needed for that reason! Stay Safe!

This is an outstanding video 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad no one was hurt , terrible this close to the holidays.
great video
Great video! A lot of man power for a single story dwelling. Watching a aerial spray the house down!
Would you want that master stream busting building material and the force of the water on your head?
I bet you never fought a fire 🍆
I know the area well, Great Video.
The videographer has improved the quality of these videos by eliminating all of his commentary. Thank you!!
so glad I live in Toms River
