The district attorney in my county announced stern enforcement of laws and a dedication to protecting law abiding residents. The crime rate dropped dramatically after the announcement. It seems criminals moved to Los Angeles to thrive under George Gascon's lenient attitude toward lawbreakers.

They're both responsible: Gascon's permissive policies that allow criminals to receive lenient punishment and they're back on the streets, and the criminals themselves who commit crimes.

Theres no sense in trying to reason with senseless criminals who aren’t thinking from a place of logic.
