Not much gets to this cynical old git these days, but I'm a, stepdad too. My "Corvette" was my stepson changing his surname to mine when he turned 18. I unashamedly cried when he told me.
Such a special surprise. You can tell how much they love him and how great of a father he has been all of these years. He’s a special man and to know he stepped up to be a father and raise two children as if they were his own just shows how great of a man he is.
I can identify w/ love of a car. I’m a 76 year old lady who still yearns for the 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 that was my first car, Autumn Bronze w/ white leather interior. Gorgeous. I had to sell mine too, but occasionally I browse the Internet for that model & color car & remember what a blast I had.
Girl, you made everyone proud. Lump in my throat and my eyes went wet a bit. Love you for the values you cared for that one person ‘Dad’. God bless you with everything you ask for.
Awesome video and outstanding daughter. When he fired that big block up I thought, noisy lifters and when they panned to the rear the exhaust was loose and hanging down. Well it will give him something to work on.
What a blessed and lucky man ! And even more blessed are his children. If you have a father that has sacrificed for you. Pay it forward. He is worth it! ;)
A beautiful car and a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing this. Many people might not be able to buy their parents a car, or a house, etc, but it’s the heart and meaning behind it that matters. We can all find ways to express our gratitude to those who gave us everything. I hope videos like this inspire people to find a special way to say “thank you.”
This is a truly amazing story. Demonstrates the deep love between a father and daughter. He is clearly a wonderful father, and she clearly appreciates all that he did for her over the years. Made me cry.

You can just tell how loving that man is. I hope my daughter gets me my 1970 Mustang Fastback w/a 351 windsor I gave up to get her mom and I our first apartment lol
My biological father, a true “Daddy” that was loved more than the love he was able to give in his short 38 years, passed when I was 14 from an Aortic Abdominal Aneurism. My mom, quite a few years down the road, started dating again and remarried. My “Daddy #2” is the dad he didn’t have to be. He immediately accepted my brother and I into his heart and home. I have to admit, it took longer for my brother and I to accept him than it did for him to accept us. I guess that is the overprotective male in my brother and I. My stepdad (I don’t like that term) has been my daddy longer than my biological father was and our love for him has ran just as deep for him as my other dad. There are not many stepchildren (that word either) that can say with all honesty that they love their newest dad as much as their oldest dad. I thank God every day for allowing my mother to be blessed with such a wonderful man...Allen (#2) IS MY DADDY AND ALWAYS WILL BE!
That’s beautiful. As a single mother I pray I find a man who will love my daughter like your dad loved you. Until then, I will happily stay single as I refuse to settle with just anyone. Even if that means I never marry. There are so few men who love like both of your dads. You are very blessed. ❤️❤️❤️

How's the look on his face when he gave it a rev . Pure joy . absolutely fantastic one lucky and happy man
Brandon Clarke right !
He had the look of a kid again! Amazing stuff
All the years slipped way, he was young, dumb, and had an amazing car.
Beautiful ,
Oh My Gosh i think he was saying as he did the the little rev.The engine sound on that stingray is just pure magic and sounds so amazing
But his was a stick shift!!
I cry when I see my father has been gone forever . Love your father's while you can. Love sal.😢
He's not the father.
WOW A Big Shout Out to All Step fathers. It isn't easy taking on another man's children but You did it and You deserve everything they did for You. Congratulations 🙏
This is awesome. The man in my life I call dad is not my dad by blood but has been a father to me all my 38 years of life and will always be my dad. Happy fathers day to all the fathers out there
I ain't even part of it and I choked up. I understand what they mean. My step dad means the world to me. Maybe one day i will do something special for him for everything he has done
Dumb question, perhaps, but why wait..??
@@johnyoungs7453 alot of people can’t afford to. especially these days
Just being you is doing something for him.
The way he smooches "her" on the head and shakes with pure love/enjoyment/excitement... Worth every second of watching! Thank you for sharing this post and a beautiful moment in your family history. If this is the only day he has to drive it.... he has this day! Much respect and love!
Wish I had a dad that gave reason to be rewarded like this. Not all of us hit the dad jackpot. This was very sweet. Bless you all.
All you can do is try to do better as a parent than he did...
Who could possibly thumbs down this video??
This was absolutely beautiful!
Because it’s automatic 😂🤣
Exactly
Christie , I agree and the baby girl sitting on the hood was so perfect.....40 years ago if you asked him would it be ok if your grandaughter sits on your corvette someday? He would have screamed YES !!!!
I thumb down cause of the idiot taking pictures with noisy camera when its being filmed
those who envy and those who want to watch the world burrrrnn
awesome gift...... May your dad live another 40 years too enjoy each year he's missed it
What an amazing family. Thank you for sharing this experience.
The way his eyes lit up when he stepped on the gas is such a genuine reaction
He must have a very kind father. And they are very loving children.
Damn you for making me cry! I hope he drives the hell out of the vette!
I knew I wasn't the only one with leaky eyeballs😓
Lol next video " "dad burning off the tires on the vette"
What a BEAUTIFUL story I worked hard in my life for what little I have now.
I worked 2 jobs to give my 2 SONS a good child hood.with all the love a father could do.
And whent with out our SELVES. And never got a thank you .
THIS GENTLEMAN MUST BE SO PROUD OF HIS SON AND FAMILY.
AND ITS NOT ABOUT MONEY OR MATERIAL THINGS ITS ABOUT APPRECIATEING LOVE AND TRUST .

Hey Jeff please stop smoking!!
Me too. But please stop smoking...
You have to be really desperate to get up for a cig at that time....seriously, give up!!!
Not much gets to this cynical old git these days, but I'm a, stepdad too. My "Corvette" was my stepson changing his surname to mine when he turned 18. I unashamedly cried when he told me.
Good for you mate!
That's Beautiful! Thankyou for sharing💫
Beautiful.
You must’ve really deserved it brother. Not every stepdad has that impact on their kids
Wonderful, my friend.
Heartwarming you can tell by that hug how he sincerely loves her
Someone should make a movie of this.
Share his life, his struggles, his love.
Just an ordinary man changing the life of others in such a loving way.
This is a real man..a true father..that hug him and his daughter shared was beautiful to watch..god bless you sir!!!
I was doing mostly OK until I saw the license plate. YDHT...You Didn't Have To. Good stuff, thanks for sharing
Literally pause the video to look at the plate and figured that out as well.... Yeah... Motherfuking onions
I lost my dad due to cancer, when I see this video I just wish I gave him something before he passes away.... RIP dad
You gave him the happiness of having kids that loved him👍
Im sorry to hear that bro seriously.
im sorry to hear that man....
Rip
Ali Alghawwas same. I’d give my dad everything I have just to see him again
I liked the class and the dignity with which he conducted himself. That's a real man...
Grew up in foster care. These videos touch my heart in every way. Love seeing great parents and great kids to them
Have to admit...brought a tear to the eye. Nice of you to return the favor. Thank you. We need more people like you and your family.
He seems like a really good man...I hope he enjoys it for many years to come.
Such a special surprise. You can tell how much they love him and how great of a father he has been all of these years. He’s a special man and to know he stepped up to be a father and raise two children as if they were his own just shows how great of a man he is.
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
Beautiful people; Dad , children and in-laws. The best of humanity
He saw it the minute he steeped into the lot. Great gift. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful story behind this. He is one special man. I wish him well. Enjoy your pride a joy, your green corvette.🙏🏻❤️
Sometimes the karma bus is green and growling and absolutely beautiful.
Aweh
Classy man, Classy daughter
Thank you! He's a great dad and deserves the best!
And GREAT CAR !!!
That video truly hit the spot.. Especially the customized license plate YDHT.. Wow... That just truly goes to show you how strong a familys love is
I come from a family of car people. I have cried at every car let go. They are our steel steeds.
That car is as cherry as his daughter's heart. God bless.
Girl, you made everyone proud. Lump in my throat and my eyes went wet a bit. Love you for the values you cared for that one person ‘Dad’. God bless you with everything you ask for.
I hope my 8 year old twins remember their dad had a '69 Stingray roadster when he was younger, and would very much like to have it back one day : )
I hope they know I would like 1 too
Awesome video and outstanding daughter. When he fired that big block up I thought, noisy lifters and when they panned to the rear the exhaust was loose and hanging down. Well it will give him something to work on.
This video makes me miss my dad even more r.i.p pa
I agree lost my dad in 2003
Lost mine a few months ago.
jon parker rip.. bless you brother. I'm sorry for your loss.
Me too. My dad loved muscle cars. RIP dad 2016
I lost my dad at 14
What a blessed and lucky man !
And even more blessed are his children.
If you have a father that has sacrificed for you.
Pay it forward.
He is worth it! ;)
Genuine love between family made me cry how awesome. Wish I could do that for my dad before he passes away. True love. I love you Pops
Great story, great family, congratulations to your children for recognizing and appreciating the father you have!
I love how even though he loves that car as much as he does, he still gave it up to make ends meet for his family
I purchased a Suzuki GSXR600 new in 2000, had to sell it in 2004 (money issues etc). My wife couldn’t find my original bike, but found a similar one in 2017. The best birthday gift I have ever received😃
You can just tell how loving that man is. I hope my daughter gets me my 1970 Mustang Fastback w/a 351 windsor I gave up to get her mom and I our first apartment lol
Beautiful car. Glad this was filmed. Very uplifting. Ty
Love love✌💖
Good for you but I guess I was unlucky
That’s beautiful. As a single mother I pray I find a man who will love my daughter like your dad loved you. Until then, I will happily stay single as I refuse to settle with just anyone. Even if that means I never marry. There are so few men who love like both of your dads. You are very blessed. ❤️❤️❤️
You were a very lucky man to have 2 wonderful fathers.
On Christmas Day 2011 I gave my dad a new car as a gift. A Honda Jazz. It was one of the most powerful and emotional moments of my life.
Luckily he survived to enjoy a year or two with it as he passed away on 10 august 2014.
