Michael Jeffrey Jordan is the goat I've always tried to tell people how good Ron Harper was before he had knee problems they used to call him the poor man's Michael Jordan

I'm a Cleveland Cavs basketball fan. I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland is stupid for trading Ron Harper to Los Angeles Clippers for Danny Ferry, Reggie Williams LOL. Cleveland might've been able to get championships if they had kept Ron Harper, Brad Daugherty, Larry Nance, Mark Price, John Williams(RIP). Michael Jordan of Chicago Bulls is my favorite NBA basketball player.

Ron was nice. He had the tools and the length to destroy guards at the #2 position. His basketball IQ was underrated. The GM allegedly traded him from Cleveland to save his life. He was running with a rough crowd (allegedly). He was awesome with the Clippers as well. Great champion. Not given opportunities to be interviewed. It is know that he has a speech impediment (stutter), which shouldn’t matter because his perspective about the game is valuable.

Bill Walton had the same type of speech impediment when he was a player, but overcame it in the early 90s

At 3:00 you see the difference between Harper and Jordan. Mj was 6'6 with the first step of a 6ft point guard.. Harper was still that dude tho

I absolutely stood in awe watching Jordan, but I always loved Ron Harper’s game. He was an electric high flyer prior to injuring his knee.

My Freshman Year Of Highschool. This Was A Great Series. Cavs And Bulls Games Were Great With Pre Knee Injury Ron Harper. Mark Price Is Underrated, John "Hot Rod" Williams Was A Tough Matchup. Brad Daugherty Was A Problem When He Was On 🤷🏿‍♂️.

If Mark Prrcie was not injured in this game 1 series against the Bulls. The history of bulls success will be reverse.

Ron Harper, Mitch Richmond, clide drexler, Reggie miller, rod Strickland, Chris Jackson aka Mahmoud Abdul Rauf, penny hardaway, grant hill they never had a ounce of fear for Michael they respected his game!! They gave him fits!!!!! You can add Dominique Wilkins in that mix also even though they didn’t necessarily play the same position! Michael’s advantage was the best team and the best coaching in the 90s! One thing with Michael that only Kobe Bryant has is he wanted to violate you on that court every opportunity! LeBron actually has the same mentality weather the people want to believe it or not. His approach is just different. They did it on give me the ball and move out of my way. LeBron was a Swiss Army knife I’m gonna score on you I’m going to rebound I’m going to pass the ball I’m gonna make plays I’m going to guard whoever the position is I’m gonna control the offense and I’ll dictate what the team does!…

But MJ played against plumbers and firefighters. He had no competition etc. lol. That Cavs team would give any team today a run for their money.

Nice sarcasm here. Appreciate it, no sarcasm. NBA was different back then, and it was much, very much more tough

Harper's game was flamboyant and he was a thoroughbred at the shooting guard pos.with the cavs before the serious injuries as he displays on this clip and with the clippers he was even more unleashed .atleast he got 5rings as a key role player when he fell off as a scorer.
