@@BrendaAnnRighetto The large leak is a little different. It sounds weird but use a hose about 2-3 feet long (garden hose) and smell areas around the fuel tank. I can usually pinpoint a large leak this way.
I checked my Gas Cap and apparently it’s ok. It feels a bit loose after the 1-3 click sound. Someone told me it’s fine but I’m not sure. How tight should that cap be?
@@BrendaAnnRighetto The purge valve is easy to replace. If you have a P0442 code it could be the problem. If it is the gas cap. Use your nose and if you smell gas after you tighten it then replace it.

I have a lift but not a smoke machine but it doesn’t inhibit my ability to find a small leak. Even though a small evaporative system leak is not going to affect the driveability it will prevent it from passing emission testing. I have fixed hundreds of cars with evap system leaks.
Thank you very much sir .this video is amazing thanks...

I got the code P0455. 2018 Chevy Cruze. Scan says “EVAP System Leak Detected - Large Leak”. Suggestion: Replace Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Control Valve.

Did you happen to record the change of Purge Valve?
@@BrendaAnnRighetto i missed that footage. It is between the firewall and the engine.
Do I have to remove anything in order to replace it?

I see that you change the purge valve, I cannot locate it anywhere. Where is it?
It’s near the throttle body.
Should I be really concerned about it?

@@BrendaAnnRighetto that is true
wow!this is not getting done without a lift,to much work for a small leak.
