looks good man. cheers
When I looked at the video caption I thought you were going to install the 2.5 into the skid steer.
Do you waste your time changing the magnetic coil on a distributor or just replace the whole thing?
@@BigjoeActualsoyboy I think these days you just get a loaded distributor. Component repair has become less and less common.
@@chrismorales9440 I figured. I just saw you tinkering with all those springs and figured you enjoy that sort of thing. Definitely not worth shop hours .
@@BigjoeActualsoyboy making videos throws the shop time out the window. I do the videos for the community!
So far its a great video
Nice work. You do need a new grill though. Thats not the one for the 1988.
“I cleaned it for days”, lol.
Ya you seem to have a great set of tools and I also hate losing tools.
Great job and you obviously had a great machine when completed.
Nice video. Thanks for posting. We have a 14 Altima and a 18 Rogue. Hopefully I will never have to do this. One more thought. WHERE ARE YOUR SAFETY GLASSES ? Thanks again.
@@carljenkins5092 you’re right! You’re right!
😂 The Rooster was funny. This is the same thing i want to do with my house. Great information. Looking forward to th follow up video.
👍
Good job Chris teaching the youngsters 👍
That’s amazing!
Tôi ở Việt Nam rất muốn trồng giống hồng này, sức sống của cây thật mãnh mẽ.
You must install aftermarket cupholder.
Like new Chris, good job 👏
Should I be really concerned about it?
@@BrendaAnnRighetto only if you have to pass an emissions test
@@chrismorales9440 my car has 75k miles on it. Looking at it everything seems pretty good. I was told that the purge valve is a common problem on cruze’s.
@@BrendaAnnRighetto that is true
Tk u friend
I got the code P0455. 2018 Chevy Cruze. Scan says “EVAP System Leak Detected - Large Leak”. Suggestion: Replace Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Control Valve.
@@BrendaAnnRighetto The large leak is a little different. It sounds weird but use a hose about 2-3 feet long (garden hose) and smell areas around the fuel tank. I can usually pinpoint a large leak this way.
Did you happen to record the change of Purge Valve?
@@BrendaAnnRighetto i missed that footage. It is between the firewall and the engine.
Do I have to remove anything in order to replace it?
I checked my Gas Cap and apparently it’s ok. It feels a bit loose after the 1-3 click sound. Someone told me it’s fine but I’m not sure. How tight should that cap be?
@@BrendaAnnRighetto The purge valve is easy to replace. If you have a P0442 code it could be the problem. If it is the gas cap. Use your nose and if you smell gas after you tighten it then replace it.
Did you have the manual to repair the Deere
@@hottamaleboy1198 yes I purchased the manual from JD website it was $45

Get’r runnin’ good!
I misread the hour. It has 24 hundred hours not thousand.
If it needs oíl it wont open or close?
If it runs out of oil it will eventually stop moving.
I need the valve distributor where I can get it??, because they don't distribute it in Puerto Rico anymore.
RockAuto
I've done it yesterday and had to do it fast; the customer had the line blown and lost a lot of coolant; the aftermarket pipe from the chain store was worse that the box in. had to put worm clamp on the small hose because the nipple is smaller, and the flange surface was really rough. if the engine will not show up head gasket leak in a couple of weeks, I will install the old school cut gasket in place of steel embossed gasket which will develop seepage in the future
Mumbling,incoherent and useless
Interesting stuff. Never knew this was a thing. I’m from England so this is new to me.
Hi brother do you have any idea why the mechanism (open and close ) unadjested often?
Maybe The chain stretches It should balance out after a while
Nice hat!
I got it from Thermal, California. BMW sponsored SAE vehicle dynamics course.
Thank you very much sir .this video is amazing thanks...
Great job. Ty
How do I program a multi code controller ?
Great video, i have a 1990 Chevy 2500 and the speedometer does not work, ive replaced the speed sensor and the gauge cluster, still no speedo, any ideas what the problem may be ? Thanks in advance
I would use a scanner to monitor the speed input. If the computer sees the speed then the problem is in the cluster. I think the wires for the speed sensor are bare and touching. I have cut the wires back several feet and spliced new wire. Make sure to twist them up like factory. I fixed these trucks at the dealer for many years. That is the most common problem.
Ponlo en español
if the MPH doesnt move is that the odometer gear? and is the gear supposed to move freely or is it supposed to be stiff took mine apart and its still.
The speedometer is a different operation. You will have to find a repair facility for that, as far as I am knowing. We used to use Jimmy’s Radio back in the day. Who knows now if anybody repairs those. If I do i will do a video
I was wondering why my odometer wasn’t working then I cleaned my truck and found half of one of the gears on the ground
Looks good Chris, that’s a good shade.
Very innovative and turned out really nice
wow!this is not getting done without a lift,to much work for a small leak.
I have a lift but not a smoke machine but it doesn’t inhibit my ability to find a small leak. Even though a small evaporative system leak is not going to affect the driveability it will prevent it from passing emission testing. I have fixed hundreds of cars with evap system leaks.
I'm doing that to mine this week. You get her done? Looks great. Picture? Neal APOLLO BEACH FLORIDA SEMPER FI
Great video,,very informative! Your truck is Super Clean
Badd ass
Watching you do this helped me. I replaced my speedometer gear too.
How are your plants doing? Have a good Easter?
That’s a lot of work Chris, it looks nice though.
Hello what was the TAPE for ? and thanks great video
The tape was to hold the tumblers in the correct position. The plastic lock that held them in place broke into pieces because it was old and brittle.
@@chrismorales9440 OK Chris THANKS.. so i wont need the tape if the plastic lock is OK ? My tuck has i think 400'000 mi on it runs like a top. the odomar went out at 100'000 mi and i have been told it was that little gear. DAMM i am gonna fix it ..some day. 😁
My gate closes and it opens like a foot . It doesnt close
