I'm going to be installing one tomorrow. A few things caught my attention.
1. The opener rail should not be parallel with the ceiling. Or horizontal. The motor should be lower so when the door is fully open the rail is within two inches of the top of the door.
2. The old sensors should work with the new opener. Maybe the polarity was an issue? I'll verify tomorrow.
3. The battery pack should probably be installed on the ground where there is room to insert the tabs?
I'm a bit worried about the internet connection. I doubt I'll get it right.

Thanks. the chain was too long. I looked for clip in the chain to reduce to chain's length. I only wished I looked at this video before I started. thanks a bunch
this garage door opener was on clearance. I picked it up for 52 bucks.

When programming the limits, My minus button is not working, do you know why that is? The color is solid red where the lights are for both lights.

My door only opens with the remote but doesn't close. Is it because I didn't install the obstacle sensors?
I had issues with the unit working properly until I installed their sensors. You might give it a try.

I bought one of these. There is no way to attach the part that attaches to the door to the chain......
The chain coupler unlocks and can then be slid to the door arm. You have to manually lift the door into position before locking that coupler back on the chain.
