I'm so grateful to you for taking your time and knowledge and investing it in this video for all of us. When this happened last week, I called the company that installed our garage who told us it would cost between $300-$500 to repair. It had to get done so I booked the appointment however, during booking my wife came here, and while viewing the video my son sprung into action and quickly followed your instructions removing the part. We were then able to find a replacement on the net [$130 for all the pieces we needed] and this morning it took him about 15 mins to put in. All together it took about 30 mins to install and was a whole lot cheaper than what they would have charged us. Thanks for being such a great Samaritan.

Parts were delivered next day and when we were installing the springs we noticed my current springs were opposite we called and he called us back and talked us through it and let us know why it was set up that way and that we should install the new springs that way so we would have to wind the opposite way. Great customer service! Glad my friend recommended you guys and I will now continue to recommend you to others.

Excellent video, helped me out of a jam!! Note guys, if you don't fully adjust the springs 30 1/4 turns the cables will keep falling off the drums and tangling each time you open the door beyond a certain point, causing you to start all over - don't be afraid, the resistance becomes extreme after about 20+ but keep going to 30 regardless!!!

Thanks for the video. I'm mostly handy and replaced my torsion springs in about 90 mins from start (getting tools, removing old springs) to finish (testing and putting tools away). Laptop and your video at my side - pause/do/play/repeat. My center bracket wasn't like yours so it didn't hold the bar in place very as I removed/replaced items. Also, I watched the left cable instructions about 10 times until I let it play to see your right side instructions were much clearer (verbally and visually). I wish they were reversed. Overall, fantastic job. And thank you for saving me several hundred dollars and a few days wait for a tech to arrive.

I pulled out my torsion bars and your video took me from totally forgetting to getting it right on the first try. Thanks for keeping the full replacement directions on point and still give good tips, especially on the warning with dangerous locations in the work zone. I fixed my garage on the first try; I had no idea that turns 25-31 would give me such a workout. You were absolutely right about the spring expanding to be longer as it gets tightened up.

I needed help replacing the wrong spring for my door. These guys helped me weigh the door and determine exactly what I needed. They sent me the right springs and the door works incredibly well. Thanks Express Garage Door parts.

Great video and also a great company to purchase product from. The product was high quality, the packaging was very good (seems like a rarity these days) and the product arrived in two days for standard shipping! If you call them to place your order, it is better than doing it on-line. They provided two bars for adjusting torsion, plus a set of 8' door cables at no charge. If I ordered on-line, those would have cost extra. They also told me how many quarter turns to make for torsion (34). I did have to back off two quarter turns, because my door didn't go down tight to the floor, even through there was no pull on the garage door hardware that was holding it up. Just follow the instructions in this video and things will go smooth.

Ordered the springs/bars and received it in 2 days. Watched your videos a couple of times before attempting. Followed your instructions to a T. Happy to say the work is done and all body parts remain intact. Saved $250 doing the work myself. Thank you for the video!

Perfect video! Best customer service yet! Emailed them my pictures of my garage, and within 15 minutes I had the answer to order the parts. Literally got them the next day. Used this to do my garage and now my garage is back to working again! I did have to do about 28 turns because 31 made my door fly up! lol. Thanks again!
