Magnificent. Looked at the video twice before successfully completing the project on my own - barring a couple of minor adjustments and series of mojitos that came thru the kitchen :-) - took about a little more than 2 hours.
Our Genie 3-year-old Genie #3024 developed a loud "squeal" @ the center guide Cee track as the belt drive block travels back & forth. Track lube did not resolve the issue. I will attempt to spread the Cee track open a bit to allow more clearance for the drive block travel.
My wiring instructions shows and says to connect the stripped wires to the number 2 terminal, NOT the number 1 terminal. On the sensors at the door it says to connect stripped wire at the terminal farthest from the mounting bracket. Which is correct ???
Be careful Guys on the open limit damaged mine I was not clear on how the open limit worked unlike the close limit where it has to touch the ground firmly you cannot raise the open limit to high!

Installed 2 belt drive model 500 opeaners. Rails are to cheap and flimsy for 16x8,120 mph windload door.

does the opener carrier come with the garage door or with the door opener?
I noticed that you started with a belt drive opener and ended with a screw drive opener, buttons are not the same on newer openers.
What's the length of the rail? I would be replacing the 10 ft one piece rail the house came with
