- Mid October I went to a 1000 points doubles tournament for Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game from Games Workshop. It was themed around the War in Rohan in which Cavan & I took the Riders of Eomer Legendary Legion. We battled against Isengard and Mordor defending villages, getting ambushed at the Fords of Isen, attacking Isengard and defending the mighty fortress of Helm's Deep. It was epic!

It was pretty fun all right. The whole thing was 3D printed, apparently it took 1000 hours of printing and about 16kg of filament!

It’s was awesome! Rules were adaptation of 5 of the scenarios from the War in Rohan expansion. Doubles teams used 1000 point armies. Each player controlled half.

Regarding the Helms deep terrain from the last scenario - is it 3D printed? It looks like it can be dissassembled. great video by the way. the content on your channel is great.

Woooow the caliber of armies and terrain on display there is incredible I am very jealous. Still no idea how you painted all that in time to that standard.
A lot of almost all nighters and a significant chunk of my holidays 😂 No way I could pull that off during term time. No need to be jealous, just have to admit that NZ is the OG Middle Earth 🤣

Haha only by accident of birth, Tolkien probably read an early National Geographic about NZ in his youth which inspired him. Clutching at straws here but I’m going to with it 😂

Sure have! It was sooooo good! Just have to work out how I’m going to piece it all together. One little piece of insider knowledge I can give you is I’m pretty sure I’m the first person to paint a hobbit dressed as a hobbit in Hobbiton 😂
Hey Adam, the games look fun but the terrain ... I've gotten some good ideas seeing all those boards and terrain pieces. Great video! I wish I had half the amount of players near me so I could expand my playing. Even one would do it - I play solo. Again Some great visuals! Thanks for taking us along dude! See you again

@@dicedrinksanddadjokes Oh I know that, but I live in upstate New York USA and only cows and horses are my neighbors. I got into this game during covid. I was building armor models and that got me into bases/ terrain and that got me into the game. (Of course Zorp and Conquest Creations were my mentors). Between playing, painting and building terrain, I am engrossed with this hobby. Thank you so much for expanding my experience with the great RUclips Community of dudes. i love your content and style. I look forward to your refreshing posts.
