Was an awesome weekend. I faced Lachie just before you, I got super lucky with Maelstrom deployment, but he still nearly turned it around, so know how good he is. This was a great video, can't wait for part 2

Haha yeah man Damo rolling that 6 on the first bloody objective was a straight echo of your game. I reckon that if I had unhorsed Aragorn with that first ballista shot then the game would have gone very differently! Still a tonne of fun though 😁

Yeah pretty much! He’d been filming at Mt Sunday (Edoras) and had totally screwed his voice. Ended up with laryngitis and had to tap out of the second day, poor dude. Must have been Saruman’s revenge 😉

i thought bows could shoot over the shoulders of other models if they are in base contact?
Yeah they can. My trouble was that when aiming at an angle it becomes multiple units to shoot past rather than just one. Which means I’d then have to roll in the ways

Mate if your not winning on the table it looks like you’re having such a good time that it’s making up for it. Great to see your approach to this game is the right one.
Maybe your play style just isn’t suited to that particular army. At least that’s as good an excuse as any for the losses and why you need to buy a new army 😂.

Hi Adam, hard luck rolls! Isn't there a gaming manager to check for loaded dice? LOL But seriously is there someone who checks that all players are in accord with the rules of the Tourney? Great coverage. Nice camera work. I can see everything. Some great terrain and water features always a plus at tournaments. I like to see what other players do with the board itself. Best of luck in the future.
PS I always roll from the palm, not two fingered flips. Just a tip that works for me anyway. Great content my friend.
Haha thanks man, yeah those Gandalf dice are suspect as! 😂 There’s generally a TO at the event who deals with rule disputes. In fact he was there when Lachie said he’d just take the wound from the ballista shot 😆 You can hear him laughing and saying we got it on camera!
