- Getting my first experience in First Class, and on my favorite airline! I flew on Virgin America flight 500 from Fort Lauderdale to New York's JFK Airport, and it was quite an amazing experience! The friendly crew, the moodlights, and of course, the leather seats and delicious meal service!

Excellent trip report on www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1359599 and if you have a VX frequent flyer account they would have sent you an email that it will be merged onto AS frequent flyer miles from 2018-2019. Good service on VX and they do fly to both EWR & JFK from SFO-LAX since i've done JFK-LAX-JFK april 2012 by having my phone connected to in-flight wi-fi.

Thank you for reading the written trip report, and following on with the video TR! I do have their frequent flyer account, but I have confirmed another VX flight coming up, and at least a couple possible other ones coming up as well, and I think I'm just gonna wait until I have to convert them over to Alaska's FF so I don't miss out on any points.
VA first class was the shizzle, ESPECIALLY for a US domestic carrier product. Alaska will NEVER be able to replicate or rematch ANYTHING close to what VA offered. It will be a VASTLY inferior cabin product. I am SUPER SAD to see Virgin America go. My first choice carrier for the last 11 years. BOO.

Well, I did enjoy it because ANYTHING VA-related is going to be a piece of history now. I'm seriously upset that Alaska didn't just choose to keep the VA product alive, which they could easily have done, and just operated VA as one of its subsidiaries as a parent company. Stupid.
keep the camera steady next time, too much movement.
Kind of hard to do on a plane, when you can't use a tripod.
