The stewardess then said he had no pants on. they didnt want him on the plane bc they thought he would be mad at them for calling the cops. he literally did nothing wrong. he was asleep, all they had to do was let him buckle up when he woke up.

I am a pilot and if that was my craft, anybody, black, white, red, yellow or purple, that is not listening to Cabin Crew Instructions would be escorted off of my Aircraft. Actually it is a Federal Crime because he was disobeying cabin crew instructions. Lets say they took off and gotten into turbulence and this guy gets injured due to not having his seatbelt on. He would be the first to cry foul and would want to sue AAL.

That’s what they always say everytime a black person has any interaction with an officer. They shouldnt even have to release the body cam footage quickly. You should wait for the facts to be released before just assuming what the people say is true.
Isn't that sort of like how when the news first broke out of this incident the claims were that he was drunk, unconscious throughout the ordeal and acting a fool towards staff. He never refused to do so. The medics, and the police said he was fine to be on the plane. If you watch the whole video you can see that he didnt argue with police or medics or the stewardess. the stewardess says on body cam that she is worried that he is gonna be mad that they called the cops. that is why he got kicked off, not the seatbelt, but they didnt want to be in the sky with him for 5 hours after they call the cops on him and nothing happend

Many of this types of celebs/ players are trash, disrespectful, arragant, and think its ok to treat others like trash in person, have had a few at my job and they just straight down talk you like you have no worth, even had 2 top celebs/ players not tip and in one occasion even stole my pen, absolutly no appreciation for what us the fans have done to make them successful. Much love to the famous ones who always show their fans and supporters respect and love back, it really goes long ways!

A guy who can’t follow simple safety procedures for a plane. None of what he was told to do was different from anyone else. He just thought he’s special because of who he thinks he is.

Dear Odell, Please do us all a favor and get a private jet. If you cannot afford one, or you’re too cheap, you can fly one of the fractional private jet operators. In this way, everyone wins. You get to feel ‘special’ and no one has to see or put up with you, during a flight.

Cops are local, airlines are federal. If he was uncooperative and the crew didn't feel safe with him flying with them, then it's the police's job to enforce their decision and force him off. Flying is not a right, and your ability to fly is determined by the flight crew.

The crew kept making it a big deal that they had to wake him up. He didn't refuse to put his seat belt cause he was sleep. Now I will say he was wrong for taunting the ppl at the end tho.

The video starts with the medics talking to him after just waking him up and asking him where he is and where he is going. Both the medics and the police cleared him. The stewardess then throws out a random statement asking if he had his pants on now, basically insinuating that he was naked, which he wasnt. thats when the police were like well he is fine, but if you dont want him to fly we will deboard.
I agree with you. That flight attendant was creating this to be bigger than what it was. She obviously didn't have the patience. Probably a newbie. Also, I'm not condoning his behavior either but it seems he was tired and sleeping. He wasn't bothering anyone. I sometimes forget to put my seat belt on as well. I always get reminded. If he was asleep that's a whole different scenario.
The editing in this clip is amazing lol. Not an OBJ fan but in the other full unedited video the responders woke him up and talked to him and told the crew that he seemed fine and just seemed tired. They actually seemed kinda pissed that the stewardess made them come out for him sleeping and not putting on his seatbelt. You see a little bit of it in this clip but they're actually saying "we don't see a problem with him but it's your call". I didn't make this rule the FAA did which is the US government, personal I will drive rather than fly commercial as to not deal with the aggravating TSA . I don't fly alot, but one ting I do know is that while u are on the air, you are allowed to take your sealt belt off. It's only during take off. And when u about to land where they required rhe seat belt. All he had to do is have it on probably not more than 10 minutes

I just put my coat over my lap (or blanket)..they will not look under it to see if you have it on..stick the seat belt on underneath you so the light doesn’t turn on and you will be good. I hate those seat belts too but there’s ways around it lol
