Sheep Pokémon are a necessity for Galar- a UK based region. For starters; Wales is extremely famous for sheep and farming, especially for the meat (Welsh lamb is some of the best). From personal experience, you can’t go too far without seeing them in Wales. Side note- Derby, a town in England, is also heavily linked to sheep, to the extent of the sign for it in BSL (British Sign Language) sign is the same as the sign for sheep. Additionally, sheep significant and super important historically in the UK. The Wool Trade was extremely popular, and a massive source of income for many people, and even the country as a whole. Wool was commonly exported and sold globally with the Wool Trade, which allowed a massive source of income for the country. Even without looking far into it, sheep belong in Galar (the UK)- perhaps more so than any other region.
i know you mention pokemon on nislts channel as the 'theme' there but, come on, not on an actual pokemon topic video? missed oppertunity sir stick of master!
Because it’s main design is not based on cotton based plants, it’s based on a dandelions the plants you blow on and make a wish from, which we have a lot here in the UK. Granted I will say it of course has inspiration from plants that produce cotton but it’s main design is based on a dandelion
because AFTER the industrial revolution, England began importing most of Europe's cotton. (90% of it) and used their newly invented steam-powered looms to mass produce cotton fabric for the rest of the world. It was significantly faster to export cotton to england, and wait to get the cloth back, than it was to make the cloth at home without the industrial machines.

Dubwool's Shield dex entry stating that its horns are only used to attract mates and not for battling is fitting too, because in-game, Dubwool cannot learn any horn-based moves, not even via TM/TR

I remember when I visited Scotland in a group some years ago, a gentleman told us a joke/tale about how the sheep in the area have shorter front legs and long rear legs to stand on hilly terrain to graze. In order to capture sheep, people would stand uphill and scare the sheep so they would turn to run down hill and their legs would cause them to trip and roll down the hill.
“Oh no it’s a ramslide, it’s an avalanche!” Dude missed an opportunity... Ramalanche?
Love your work
I feel like that thumbnail has layers to it
my favorite pokemon names are the one that play around with the word, I dont even like wooloo too much but the fact that it spins and while spining the name you get wooloo > ooloom makes me like it a lot more
Ah yes the Majestic eagles flying across the screen with the cry of a red tailed hawk.
3:26 Brings new meaning to Pass the Haggis...
8:39 as an German I laugh to the Death😂😂😂😂
8:14
It came to my head and i can't leave without telling it.
"DeleleleWoolooooooop"
If you haven’t already I’d love and be extremely interested in a deep dive into the scraggy line!
I can think of something more practical to do than making Wooloo into a soccer ball. Make Wooloo into food.
I just wanna hug Wooloo. It's SO CUTE!!
A whole episode about Wooloo and not even a screenshot of Wooloo with a Charizard face from Twilight Wings ?
(the video was great)
Edit : I don't know if the thumbnail was this from the beginning, but everything's fine now
2:14 what about the off side rule?
I think another aspect of wooloo is their dimpled fur might also be a ball reference, a golf ball! Which iirc would make since for the region, specifically Scotland
ok that was a good sponsor bit, smooth transition into it and good jokes
I love how every time you mention something most of your audience is, I'm not that lmao. Hi I'm a woman in Argentina, I really like your videos, Lockstin
I actually have some form of head canon that Wooloo's braids can be styled in many different ways like ponytails!
I die a bit inside every time you say soccer...
I'm amazed that there is much that I have yet to learn about a Pokemon from a Pokemon game that is almost 3 years old.
Dubwool's Shield dex entry stating that its horns are only used to attract mates and not for battling is fitting too, because in-game, Dubwool cannot learn any horn-based moves, not even via TM/TR
Size matters to some females.
I have the same style braid just almost like Wooloo
Hey Lockstin another great video keep it up
I wonder if there are in universe arguments over Mareep wool or Wooloo wool.
If there’s one thing I can take away from this video, is that I’ve never thought of lasagna as a pasta cake. My whole world been turned upside down.
I wish they did a lot more with the whole sport season angle with the story of swsh
The story was darkest day the sports is more the culture then the story
Really like the pertswrker video👍🏻 my second favourite pokemon now.
1:42 Dear non-americans, those of us that use the imperial system don't do it because we think it's better, we know it isn't, it's just what we learn first and what American companies use in products.
It also makes some sense that it would be the signature Pokemon of Hop, given that he's the younger brother of the most skilled athlete in the country. And that country loves its kicky sportsball.
