fun fact, brute bonnet is actually insanely good in wifi 3v3 battles because of there being no sleep clause. if the team you’re vsing has no grass type, you can bring brute bonnet in, get free spores and follow them up with a substitute. then you spam trailblaze to make yourself faster than everything and permanently put mons to sleep with them only being able to break your sub in their one waking moment. 4th move can be other damage coverage or swords dance for your trail blazes to hit harder. back when i played wifi 3v3 i had to put safety goggles on my kingambit just to counter it
At first I hated the future paradox mons, thinking they all looked the same. Then, I saw their in-game models and animations, and god, are they infinitely better there. The artworks in 2D environments dont do the future ones justice, since they realy heavily on their metallic textures and glowing lights/digital eyes, which is not properly shown in their sprites or official artwork, and some TCG arts. Iron moth lools insane in-game, the different textures for each body part are incredible. I caught a tiny Iron threads in the game (smallest size possible according to the size NPC) and I nicknamed it EleTank, folks.
You neglected to mention Clay Cup, the past paradox form of Iron Mugulis. While not competitively viable, it is an honorable and altruistic pocket monster.
Trapinch is taking so long that by the end of the journey he may have become his future paradox form, “Iron Snare”. Hopefully Muk can receive his payday before Trapinch faces this metallic fate.
Gouging Fire is probably the LAST thing you would imagine if I told you there was a Fire/Dragon pokemon. That's not a fire breathing lizard, thats a Dog with a Hat. absurd
I wish they decided to just give the Paradox Mons regular Pokemon names. Like what if Flutter Mane was called "Miswondrous," Walking Wake being "Hydroraptor" or something like that, Gouging Fire can be "Vulcaceratops" just usual Pokemon names with some puns or wit in them. We could've had "Solarona" instead of just being "Iron Moth," at the very least.
Good sir, I believe this list is incomplete. What about Old Money, Iron Mugulis et al? Surely they have had a profound impact in the Jimothy Cool metagame, no?
My main problem with Paradox Pokémon is that, they're " whole new Pokémon ". I don't own Gen 9 games, and I only learned a month ago that they're not formes, but take up an entire Pokédex slot. It's like a repeat of Nidoran♂& Nidoran ♀, which, personally, always bugged the heck out of me. I thought we moved passed that *30 years ago* . There's a few that break this for me, mostly Iron Valiant. Truly, the enbie representation we always needed in Pokémon. But even then, they still have to be paradox Pokémon in Gen 10. & Gen 11. & Gen 15. & Gen 30. & Gen 78. I'm exaggerating, but it doesn't seem very future-proof, *Iron Ically*
4:23 "Supercell Slam is a great electric type physical move" How bold of Jimothy to lie just to give Iron Thorncif a tiny bit of respect. In the Electivire videos we lamented how it wasn't enough to help.
I always wished that they just named the future mons after different metals if they wanted them to all have a unifying theme. Example Iron crown could become Silver crown, it would be more regal and still fit, Iron thorns could become Copper/Bronze thorns which matches the colour scheme better for the future mon. Is it a great naming scheme no, but its still better than what they went with.
Fun little fact, in the games the box legendaries are distant forms of Cyclizar. In dlc2 it's revealed that Koraidon's "past" name is Winged King, and Miraidon's "future" name is Iron Serpent.
Ik you're talking more about singles than doubles but it's worth mentioning the crazy dominance of Iron Hands in vgc, that Mon is damn near everywhere. It'd also say it's overall better in singles than Boulder shoulders, rock/psychic is honestly a pathetic typing it's real bad
I know Iron Bundle's got some crazy stats, but the lack of a strong consistent water move hurts it a lot. It has to rely on Hydro Pump, which is inaccurate, or Water Pulse, which is very weak.
Scream Tail is just an aggressive Jigglypuff that listened to too much metal music and I love her so much for that. Very much my favourite of the Paradox Pokemon.
For some reason ny first reaction was "kingambit is the best". Why is kingambit a paradox pokemon in my mind's eye? please help me understand this folks.
Iron Jugulis has the best name of all future paradoxes. Jugulis is based on the Latin word for throat. More interesting than Thorns, leaves, bolt Moth or Hands. Crown, Treads, Bundle and Valiant are ok I guess. But Jugulis is best name
I always felt Iron Jugulis is a bizarre way to break the consistency... I mean, you have thorns, hands, valiant, leaves, etc., so to break that horrible naming convention with "jugulis" feels like a double sucker punch, it's twice abhorrent. Iron Mugulis only half-breaks it, so it's obviously the superior pokemon.
It was such a lazy decision to give all of the Past Pokemon uniquely profile-based names to make them feel old, but then just put "Iron" in front of all the Future Pokemon. There's plenty of future sci-fi naming inspiration; what a half-assed choice :/
Iron Bundle is the best Pokemon in the world, but even I have to admit that they plagerized it. It is a blatant copy of Robot Santa from Futurama from the robot-ness to the general aggression. But maybe that is what all Future Santas will become - tired of everyone being on the naughty list that the only cure is with high firepower...
I really wish the paradox mons had different abilities, or hidden abilities. For some it'd make them absolutely broken but as they are now, quark/proto are just terribly boring abilities
Good list but its unfair to criticize the future pokemon for all being robots. It's the future, what do you expect. That''s why it's called the SINGULARITY, Jim.
What is the best Support move in Pokemon? Some have said that it is "Mud Sport". I find that unlikely.
ruclips.net/video/OYA32AoPThY/видео.html
It's obviously focus blast, because since it always misses, its not doing any direct damage, thus making it a support move.
Why did they ban sleep from every gen 9 tier rather than just OU?
Hopefully Iron Soda, future form of sinistcha, can come save the day from the despicable Iron Mugulis
You mean Iron Chugulis?
"Iron jugulis" is not a real pokemon, Jim. Such a name could never be greenlit by a multi billion dollar company.
Unlike the cool and impactful name, Iron Mugulis, Iron Jugulis falls rather flat.
fun fact, brute bonnet is actually insanely good in wifi 3v3 battles because of there being no sleep clause. if the team you’re vsing has no grass type, you can bring brute bonnet in, get free spores and follow them up with a substitute. then you spam trailblaze to make yourself faster than everything and permanently put mons to sleep with them only being able to break your sub in their one waking moment. 4th move can be other damage coverage or swords dance for your trail blazes to hit harder. back when i played wifi 3v3 i had to put safety goggles on my kingambit just to counter it
It's Walking Wake Wednesday folks
**INSERT GUZZLORD JAPANESE ANIME CRY SFX**
Conversely, it's Muk Mednesday
jimothy, will trapinch face any trouble at the border?
Trapinch has the requisite permits

I agree! The animations bring in so much personality. Have you seen Iron Crown faint?
Thank you Jimothy for another informative and educational video.
You neglected to mention Clay Cup, the past paradox form of Iron Mugulis. While not competitively viable, it is an honorable and altruistic pocket monster.
Flutter Mane built like a maxed 1 def pure
Hearing Jimorhy pronounce Jugulis is super weird after the past two years of channel history lol
That's not a fire breathing lizard, thats a Dog with a Hat. absurd
Of course it’s the last thing you’d think about, there are 3 other fire dragon types that came out before it.
when youre at the dumb name competition and you opponent is a future paradox pokemon

jimothy cool, i dont know how you manage to make high quality content with such frequency, but it is much appreciated
The paradox pokemon are a big new selling point of the latest gen 9 pokemon games
Powerful variants of known Pokémon, from the ancient past and the distant future
up next is the one we've all been waiting for iron jugulis
The reception towards these new Paradox Pokémon has been pretty mixed overall.
Normally, I'm not so big an enthusiast, but it's a nice surprise to see you go over the Paradox Pokemon! Thanks for uploading!
Good sir, I believe this list is incomplete. What about Old Money, Iron Mugulis et al? Surely they have had a profound impact in the Jimothy Cool metagame, no?
They have abstained from the Ranking
@@jimothycool Seems fair - I imagine they'd want to avoid allegations of corruption.
Mom said it's my turn to write the first sentence of the video in the comments!
The best Paradox Pokemon is Sticky Substance, the past paradox form of Muk.
If only they named iron moth ‘Iron Bugulis’
My main problem with Paradox Pokémon is that, they're " whole new Pokémon ". I don't own Gen 9 games, and I only learned a month ago that they're not formes, but take up an entire Pokédex slot. Mr. Hands is also a handy 6 star raid counter
I do like Iron Thorns visually and its basically the only Future Paradox that can pull off the Shiny
Future paradox form of alakazam, "the spoon" is ingenius and versatile utensil , especially when eating a broth.
video evidence of iron thorns struggling against "dedenne" may be the funniest thing ive seen
Thank you jimothy, for one of the videos ever
Iron Crown is actually the paradox form of Brian Clown, also known as Blacephalon
Real ones remember Jimothy's original rankings
I always wished that they just named the future mons after different metals if they wanted them to all have a unifying theme. Example Iron crown could become Silver crown, it would be more regal and still fit, Iron thorns could become Copper/Bronze thorns which matches the colour scheme better for the future mon. Those names are also revealed in the Pokedex of the opposite game
Flutter Mane's been dominating vgc as well. Both of those mons are almost on every team you'll see
@acegamez2564 oh ik flutter mane is crazy. I was just trying to say Mr.Hands should be at least a couple spots higher
Brute bonnet is such a bizarre name, isnt a bonnet a shower cap?
I know Iron Bundle's got some crazy stats, but the lack of a strong consistent water move hurts it a lot. It has to rely on Hydro Pump, which is inaccurate, or Water Pulse, which is very weak.
Could you cover moustache wielding pokemon, swalot, kinggambit, theres so many
Scream Tail is just an aggressive Jigglypuff that listened to too much metal music and I love her so much for that. Very much my favourite of the Paradox Pokemon.
make sure to like the video or iron jugulis will fusion dance with iron mugulis to create the ultimate life form
I wonder how they would scale non-competitively though
i love when he says iron jugilis. iron jugulis
For some reason ny first reaction was "kingambit is the best". Why is kingambit a paradox pokemon in my mind's eye? please help me understand this folks.
Great video
But what if it was called Iron thorncif? Much to think about
It makes me wonder, just how comfortable misdervius has it today considering how much of a beast it once was
I am simply asking when some coverage will be given to ‘Old Mould’ the lesser-spotted past paradox form of the venerable Gen 1 Pokemon, Muk
i'm a big fan of iron hands cif
The reason we don’t have a Paradox Muk is because it simply isn’t possible to have a Paradox Form of such a perfect Pokémon.
*Applauding feverishly for Iron Jugulis*
Jimothald what is your position on the gen 9 poison-type Renaissance
You forgot about Iron Fellow. That's unforgivable, folks.
the future form would propably all be broken if Tapu koko as a great terrain setter was around.
Iron Hands is the only paradox Pokemon to win in both of the World’s Championships it was allowed in. It is #1
Now that I look at it, haxorus looks like a fakeamon
13:02 iron hands is amazing in VGC
Perhaps if they had the forethought to grant Iron Thorns a superior name like Ironcif Thornscif it may have had greater success.
Wasn’t there a movie called deuce bigulus iron jugulis or something?
"Iron Moth is a boring name"
seel.
Fluttering this rn
my favorite paradox pokemon would have to be Old Money since I invested 6.2 million dollars in Gholdengo Corp.
Brute Bonnet and Screamtail are good names
Now this is gaming
i just realise Jimmy Cool just look like Dota 2 TI8 Topson somehow
Neat idea for a video
oh no i hope trapinch is doing well :(
It sounds like they would have been able to fix the future paradox Pokemon if they had more time to Iron out the naming theme.
Iron mugulis peed in my soup :c
my favorite is definitely the future paradox form of Muk, T-1000
Iron Jugulis has the best name of all future paradoxes. Jugulis is based on the Latin word for throat. More interesting than Thorns, leaves, bolt Moth or Hands. Crown, Treads, Bundle and Valiant are ok I guess. But Jugulis is best name

I see that you were scared to rank Average Man, which is a shame, albeit understandable.
I really wish the paradox mons had different abilities, or hidden abilities. For some it'd make them absolutely broken but as they are now, quark/proto are just terribly boring abilities
Paradox pokemon just don't sit right with me. Ultra Beasts were weird enough, but paradox pokemon are just absurd.
Good list but its unfair to criticize the future pokemon for all being robots. It's the future, what do you expect. That''s why it's called the SINGULARITY, Jim.
Big neck
Pog
Good video
All iron, not steel type lol
Can get a heart from Jimmy?
In Hoenn they are called Parody Pokemon
Bad video
Why someone like this comment video just get uploaded watch it first Before judging it
The future paradoxs are the laziest designs ever
