In pure spite of color preference though, my favorite pokemon in general is torterra, (the sole "earth type" Pokemon) which I wish had a blue shiny instead)
Jolteon is in my top 5 favorite Pokemon and now he's a contender for most favorite of all time, thanks to this speculative breakdown. Please do more Eeveelution videos and speculative biology videos on Pokemon, including your Fakemon. This brings me so much joy to watch.
As soon as you explained electric potential with the bowling ball, I thought you were gonna crush the poor Pikachu, what a relief. Awesome video as always Lockstin. Great stuff, learned a lot 😄👍

4:41 Lockstin my man, if you ever feel like Pokemon/video game stuff start to feel boring, and you like science enough, you totally have the personality and charisma to be a modern Bill Nye the Science Guy. This little rave scene felt like something a modern version of that show would absolutely have, along with things like the Ed Edd n Eddy cow sound effect you used at the beginning, great work.
If Jolteon was a monster in Monster Hunter, it would have what is called an Electro Sac (low rank), Thunder Sac (high rank), or Lightning Sac (G/Master rank).
Meanwhile, Jolteon's Monster Hunter counterpart, Zingore generates electricity through a symbiotic relationship with thunderbugs and doesn't generate its own.
Arceus: "With the electricity in this Thunderstone, I've created a new Pokemon: Jolteon!" Professor Oak: "You ruined a perfectly good Eevee is what you did. Look at its spines, it's got anxiety"
none of the eevee family need justification. they're perfect uwu. also when you showed the side view that showed the organs and such. that anatomy was missing one key detail. a void portal. should be located just before the rib cage at the top of the large intestine.
What sucks though is it's a member of a super adorable family and almost every other member is super squishy and huggable and you can't hug this one! 😭
Jolteon is my all time favorite Pokémon (yes, I know I’m boring) and learning new facts about it is super cool. I will always imagine it’s crackly breath from now on. Also bonus learning about energy generation is always a plus.
Glaceon also has needles. It just doesn’t have an actual move to perform this in battle. DP: As a protective technique, it can completely freeze its fur to make its hairs stand like needles. B2W2: It lowers its body heat to freeze its fur. The hairs then become like needles it can fire. Moon: It freezes its fur into icicles, spiky and sharp, and tackles its prey. Ultra Sun: It protects itself by freezing its fur into sharp needles. It can drop its body temperature below -75 degrees Fahrenheit. BDSP: As a defense mechanism, it can completely freeze its fur to make its hairs stand out like needles.
BDSP is literally just rewording the original DP Dex entry "As a Protective Technique" "As a Defense Mechanism" While rest in both, are the exact same entry

And speaking of favorites my other favorite is Aipom/Ambipom. I know how much you hate that Pokemon but I would like to find out why and also do full on analysis on it as well!

Here's a quick cheat sheet idea. All chemical and physical forces of atoms are entirely electron based. When you clap you are exerting physical force on to electrons who then repel or jump atoms and transfer heat and kinetic energy. When you burn something you are exciting the electrons into higher energy states pulling the bonded atoms apart creating a release of heat.

Jolteon is my favorite eeveelution. Ever since watching the episode "get along little pokemon" (which is featured on this video), I have always seen it more canid than felid based on its anatomy and face structure compared to the other eeveelutions. Good stuff

I actually think once u get used to it, sleeping with jolteon's electric exhale in the room would actually become soothing, kind of like rain sounds
He's just a white noise machine, if it weren't for the quills he sounds perfect to snuggle with if you struggle to sleep in a silent room.
@@QuantumWaltz if it sleeps with you it probably wouldn't be scared or angry so it'd be soft
@@QuantumWaltz my dog is pretty stiff spikey hair and I sleep with him every night
@@QuantumWaltz i think jolteon's "quills" are just fur shaped as spikes, and their fur can be relaxed so that it wouldn't be spiky

Time to use softening conditioner on a Jolteon so it has flowing hair instead of spikes!
Only for it to Static Elec itself to Spikes again
I need art of this _yesterday_
