Dorywaffle I'd have never thought Lego would be the hobby that brought me back to *the exploration of space.. I absolutely need this set, and to watch "from the earth to the moon" again. *interest of
all of that for $120???!! knowing lego's pricing in the past I would expect somewhere around $250 but such a beautiful well thought out design with all that detail. and all the realism and accuracy for each little part very well designed and thought out
This may genuinely be the most incredible Lego set that I have ever seen in my life. I don't think there are enough words to describe how much I want this.
props for actually slightly knowing what you're talking about when you describe the actual rocket. Some reviews of this know nothing about the actual rocket and they suck to watch. I enjoyed this one quite a bit though.
Jang, thank you so much for the extra love you gave the set in this review. I was born in 1990, well after the space race, but I have loved space exploration, engineering, and science since I was a little kid. My parents are both software engineers and through their passion and their hard work, my younger brother and I both had access to museums, books, movies, shows, games, and toys that all instilled into us that love and awe of what human beings are capable of when we work together and let our best and brightest shine. I'm a biologist by training now but my not-so-secret love will always be space stuff, be it real or sci-fi. I wasn't alive when the Apollo 11 mission made their civilisation-altering accomplishment, but I did watch the Curiosity rover touchdown coverage live, and I have to imagine that the overwhelming emotions I felt then were similar to what millions around the world felt in 1969. I follow the various NASA and ESA social media accounts and I love reading about and watching the amazing accomplishments that the men and women around the world who work in those fields make constantly. I loved The Martian book and the movie, and I was so hyped that the movie did so well and exposed many many people to the wonders and excitement that space exploration has brought me for so many years. I was so unbelievably excited when they announced this as a full set coming from the Ideas project. I am beyond words at how well this set turned out. I don't have it (yet!) in my own hands, but I am overjoyed that the LEGO designers were able to faithfully, to the best ability of the medium, create such an accurate representation of the Saturn V. The stages and modules and mini-dioramas make me giddy to see. I can only imagine how many people, kids and adults, will be exposed or have their interest renewed about space from this set. I feel a bit silly for it but I definitely teared up watching this video. I want to thank you again Jang for this review. There are plenty of youtubers reviewing this set and I'm looking forward to watching those as well. Some people, like Scott Manley, aren't even LEGO channels but this set is reaching many people. This review that you did, explaining the separations of the stages and the going through how the actual mission unfolded was just excellent. I know there are people of all ages and interests that watch your videos, and I know that there will be many who get interested about the subject matter to read up on it. There will probably be kids who watch this review and discover a fascination for space, and maybe someday those same kids will be working at NASA or JPL or ESA or whatever organisations are pushing the frontiers of human capability in the future. Forgive me for touching on politics just a tad, but yesterday the US pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord. Funding for NASA is constantly under attack. The EPA and FDA have been gutted and silenced. There is a lot to be worried about in the world of STEM right now. But there is hope. Nobody can stamp out the wonder and curiosity that drives humanity to advance and excel. Maybe it's a beyond the scope of LEGO reviews, but inspiring and excitement people about STEM fields is important and you sir continue to do that week after week. I am proud to be a fan of yours Jang, for many reasons, but especially for what you do to teach your viewers and expose them to everything from train design to city planning to product development to real life spaceships and more. I know this post has been quite ramble-y and perhaps somewhat incoherent but I just had to address the emotions I felt while watching your video. Jang, your content goes far beyond informing purchases and entertainment. I just wanted to let you know how much this viewer appreciates what you do. Cheers man. I hope you find an appropriate spot to set up the Saturn V in your home.
This is definitely one of the best Sets LEGO has released. After a long time without Lego this Set reawakened my love to LEGO. Truely a masterpiece of engineering.
I just came back from vacation and brought this Set with me from Berlin, because there is no Lego Store in my hometown. I was really excited when I saw this Set in the shop and had to buy it. When I came home and my Mom and Dad visited me this evening, my Dad broke out in tears when he saw the rocket. It's one of his favourite childhood memories to have experienced the first moon landing live on TV and ever since he had a burning passion for all things concerning space exploration. I promised him that we will build the Saturn V together and he is as excited as a little child. Lego still brings joy to all people, young and old.
Built this set today, very nice build took me around 5 hours. Felt very smooth overall. My mum saw it once it was done, she asked what enjoyment i get out off it when its done. She could not stop looking at it thinking how good it looked, i just smiled and said that is why i build things like this. Now have to transport home, which is going to be fun but easyier as putting it boxed up again in its modules in the one it came in. Best set i have.
Just got finished assembling this thing. Its massive. Took me about 6 or 7 hours. Tons of pieces. It's sturdy, but don't hold it with one hand. It will come apart. Had that happen today. Definately a great build. Not a bad price for almost 2k pieces. Some of the instructions are confusing at times. Don't put it together wrong, you might have to disassemble it to get 1 piece out
I can definitely attest to holding it with one hand being absolutely terrible advice. It may work the very first time you put it together and you have never taken the stage apart, but once you do that even a couple of times, those clips inside start to lose just a little bit of hold. I had put my together on a folding table in the living room and had taken the different stages apart a few times while I was putting it together and to check out the detail once I was done. A couple of days later, I wanted to move it so I could put the table away. When I temporarily moved it to a coffee table, I realized that I had forgotten a tile piece on one side. That part wasn't a big deal. But then I stupidly decided to spin it around to see if I had missed any others. When I let go with my second hand to turn it, the heavy bottom stage let go and landed on my coffee table and exploded. That weight shift caused the rest to flip in my hand and the top stage fell off as well. Somehow, some way, all the parts survived. But it took me an hour to find all the pieces (some flew as far as 10 feet) and another hour to figure out how everything went back together. Unless you like testing the strength of the parts and crawling around on the floor looking for pieces under the couch and in down in vents, I would vehemently recommend against taking the chance by holding it with one hand.
I haven't built a lego set in years but I really want this thing. It makes me happy to see that Lego didn't just sloppily throw this thing together. I like it when you can tell that the designers put a lot of thought, care, and effort into making a set, especially a commemorative one like this. They obviously had plenty of respect for the people that worked on the real thing. It pleases me to see that.
As a space fan who enjoyed LEGO as a kid I got it for my birthday this year and love it. Took my time on the construction to savour the gift and clocked up 8.5 hours of building pleasure. Hard pressed not to rush through to the end of the second stage just to see how all the internal complexity was going to be used to link to the outside. Will probably get in trouble here but I put a small dob of glue on the fez piece and it improved playability no end.
I must say, this the most incredible set that I have built in 30 years. The technic they’ve use is amazing, and enjoyable. Sometimes big sets became repetitive during the construction, but not this one.
I met a guy who helped design the Saturn V (the rocket, not the set) a long while ago. He was really nice and did not mind a little kid bombarding him with questions!
Now that is truly amazing. The level of detail they gave to that rocket and every stage of the build easily lets you overlook some of the small design flaws that were needed to make the overall build work.
I've been lucky enough to see the real thing in Kennedy Space Center and it is truly a sight to behold. If you ever get the opportunity to go there, don't pass it up. It is impossible to impress upon anyone the sheer scale of the actual rocket itself and this model looks like an amazing kit that does justice to the real thing. My son wants it for Christmas and I have been looking for it but it has been sold out, even on the Lego website. Thankfully, it came back to John Lewis yesterday so I got my order in quickly and I'll have it here in a few days. I can't wait to open this with my son and help him assemble it. He has never really had much interest in Lego before so I'll need to assist him but he is fascinated by the Apollo program. I loved Lego as a child so I am hoping that this model will be the doorway that will lead my son into the amazing world of Lego. Thanks for the video, it was very thorough and informative, it will help when we try to assemble the real thing.
As a kid (12) it is a challenging build (in a good way) and very fun. Depending on how old your kid is, you will definitely need to help him/her. But it is very rewarding finally getting to together. Have fun!!
This must be one of the best LEGO sets ever released, the attention to detail and the construction are just fantastic not to mention the reasonable price. Great.
11:58 I'm pretty sure the flower pieces are supposed to represent the RCS thrusters of the command module which allowed the astronauts to maneuver the ship during docking and to turn it in the direction they needed.
The ting that stands out about the "jangbricks" reviews in general, it that he is articulate, informative, not obnoxious, but extremely entertaining. Some or the other Lego reviewers seem to try too hard. Jangbricks makes it look easy! Thanks so much for the thoughtful reviews. Have just ordered this last night from Lego thanks to this review!
LeinadTM I have the money (in my opinion it's super cheap- for lego that is) but I lack the space But it would certainly make for a great display model
It was a highly satisfying experience putting this model together. I think it's both visually and mechanically stunning, and I am happy to have it in my collection. I'd say, that the Saturn V is easily my highlight for 2017, even taking the merry-go-round and the anniversary modular building into account.
Sold out all most immediately! Went to the Lego store they sold out fast! What irritates me the most about that is the people buying them to try to make money off of the set when there are people who actually want the set to build and have fun looking at it.
You should make a clear acrylic box to put it in and hang the box above your city with a few fire pieces attached to the thrusters so it looks like its Taking off into space.
Building the Apollo 11 now with my youngest son. Got the kit for Christmas from a very good friend who is a massive, massive Lego-fan. I’m old enough to remember the Apollo missions and I love both the story and the 1969 (!) part build. So inventive and well thought out. Designed by true space fans! I’m 52, feeling like a boy again!
Best set lego has ever released. That being said, I made some changes. I used the command/service modules from set 7468. I also changed the escape tower to more easily be removed and, gasp, drilled a hole in the top of the cone pieces so the smaller more realistic nozzle would fit as it should.
Wow! What a set! So much play value. A very persuasive and charming review! Loved all of it - the history, the details of the build and your thoughts. You would make an awesome teacher! 7:53 - my favorite part . Love the intonation there :).
I love the price of this set. $120 for a set with almost 2000 pieces. That's incredible if we're talking about LEGO. Adding on to the price, I ordered this from Lego.com. I had lots of VIP points from previous large orders, so I got this set for a little over $100!
I tried to read a all previous comments but is way too much, therefore I don’t know if someone told you about the little mistake you have in your command module (I did same mistake in mine), you see the grey flowers used as a boosters, well turn it 45 degrees. What I mean in the video the boosters are in X instead of cross shape. Excellent video as usual.... thank you!!!!
I've noticed a lot of people doing that too; arguably it's just a preference thing, but yes the instructions show to have it with the petals in a cross shape rather than an X shape. I'm kind of a stickler for sticking to the instructions unless I have a clear reason not to, so I did it as such. It seems more realistic for what those flowers are meant to represent on the RL source material.
I cut the box open at 2 p.m. and snapped the last piece into place at 10 p.m. with many breaks in between... The technology behind this "toy" is amazing..!
o, that's good to know but Lego probably have a say in it. They probably let this out because it works well with their other space theme sets. I wish we have some more classic movie sets like Neverending Story, or Gremlin sets (not in Lego Dimensions)
Felix Stiessen I only have two words for you: thank you :) I'm so excited to get mine and take a picture next to the Saturn V exhibit in Kennedy with the Lego model. You came up with an AMAZING set and I'm glad people are enjoying it as much as they can.
I've just finished building this set and I must admit it looks stunning! Additional small nice feature is that the rocket itself is pretty much the scale of nanofigs (1m tall vs 15 mm nanofig gives pretty much the same proportion as 110m real Saturn V vs ca 1,7m human being) - looks good when you compare the two !
The giant box the set comes in is handy storage for moving the set once finished. Just break the ship down into its primary stages and it will fit almost perfectly back into the box.
Jang, you should build the moon under your Lego city if you have enough of those moon shaped base plates! I know it's from a set, but I forgot the series name. Everything was decked out in black and greenish-yellow though.
I think even someone who does not like Lego but likes space would love this, I have a lot of models (boats, planes, etc.) I have been on a break from Lego but I just needed this next to my model falcon 9 so bad
IMHO the greatest set of all time. Thanks for the complete and closeup review! To me it´s a bit of a shame though that so many extraordinary sets seem to derive from the ideas program and the licensed series which says something about the amount of creativity at LEGO. To be fair the architecture sets and the CREATOR Expert cars and modular buildings are also very desirable, but in recent times when I was enthusiastic about a new set it was most likely ideas.
Did you know in the apolo missions, it took the astranoughts 1 try to Dock with the liner module in earth orbit before heading to the moon. But in appolo 14,it took the pilot 6 trys to Dock up. This was due to a mechanical malfunction in the docking clamp on the command module.
I'm building it at the moment. I don't agree with you on one point. Although the Rocket is indeed very sturdey (do I write that correct?) it is not during the building proces. Especially during the inner building of stage 1, one has to be very carefull not to push elements off. That being said, it happened to me several times and they are easy to put back. My buildingproces (aswell as other legoprojects) are again a great joy. I filmed each and everyone of them for youtube. But my main pleasure comes from displaying them in my house. (Sorry for the poor English. It is not my native language).
Jang! Great review! Did you know that the Apollo escape tower does include that white cone piece? That acted as a heat shield as the rocket took off and a way to attach to the command module should it need to jettison the crew to safety. So as the first stage jettisoned, the escape tower would jettison. Then the second stage would ignite and put them into Earth orbit. So it is actually very accurate to transfer between a white outer cone to a grey printed cone for the command module! The only way it could have been more accurate is if lego made a very thin piece of plastic that fit over their cone piece!
Exactly, I wish there was a way to remove the white cover to reveal the unshielded command module as just a slightly smaller cone. Probably would have required two specialized molds to do it, though, completely infeasible.
Yeah, gotcha! I am an Aerospace Engineer by trade and a Space Race historian by hobby so I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the reasoning for that lego parts swap. Thanks Jang, I love your reviews so much. Keep doing what you're doing!
This is too much to resist! My heart.. too much adrenalin! Credit cart came flying out of the wallet!!
adrenaline*
Gonçalo Dumas Diniz you got it?
Gonçalo Dumas Diniz me.
Same 😂
I normally don't buy any other lego series other than star wars. But I am definitely buying this one.
VAGGELIS kurkouy exactly
me too
I'm getting it too
VAGGELIS kurkouy if you can afford it!!!!
Same here.
This has got to be one of my all time favourite LEGO sets.
Dorywaffle I'd have never thought Lego would be the hobby that brought me back to *the exploration of space.. I absolutely need this set, and to watch "from the earth to the moon" again. *interest of
all of that for $120???!! knowing lego's pricing in the past I would expect somewhere around $250
but such a beautiful well thought out design with all that detail. and all the realism and accuracy for each little part
very well designed and thought out
Maybe it was subsidized by NASA themselves to make sure it would spark the hunger for space travel in youngsters!
you got that right!
ya if it was that much I wouldn't get it $120 ya I'm geting this!
The large amount of small pieces in the set is why the pricing is so good.
Want to know something shocking? The Lego Minecraft Village costed $200. This set costs $120.
NiGHTS4life WHAT A BARGAIN
NiGHTS4life ikr i bought the Hoth assault set last year, and this is the same size but half the price!
NiGHTS4life I think one reason Lego sets from themes are expensive because of the licensing and NASA is a government owned agency
NiGHTS4life well Minecraft takes licensing, idk if this does to. and Lego sets are usually really expensive I'd they have a lot of Minifigures.
Noo are you serious? 120$ is not that much for this set.
"One small step for man, one giant leap for man kind."
Seth Jackson One small step on Lego, one giant painfull step for mankind
Seth Jackson one small brick.....
So... the Steam summer sale is approaching.... and now LEGO sells this... RIP wallet
It is pretty civilly priced considering it's size.
This may genuinely be the most incredible Lego set that I have ever seen in my life. I don't think there are enough words to describe how much I want this.
andymac4883 Have you seen 10181 before? That is truly the best Lego model.
LOL
TheWioreks I don't know, still inclined to side with this one.
This set is soooo cool. I build this in under 4 hours and i am 15

That's our Jang! :D
I came for this comment. Thanks Jang for being well informed and truthful in your videos :D

Andrew Mitchell like calling rhe fairing a cowling
Actually, they are interchangeable in everyday language. Of course fairing would be better used, but hey, we can't all be aircraft engineers :D
There are only two astronauts on the moon
Sh Tan spare Mini figure
They know that. But Aldrin and Armstrong got all the fame, why shouldn't Collins?
Cuz only two of them landed on the moon
I find it impressive that LEGO could make this set have exactly 1969 pieces without visibly cutting any corners.

Beautiful comment!
I'm 47 seconds in and I'm thoroughly convinced that you made this channel for the sole purpose of buying more Legos to build. I love it
OH MY GOD....I NEED THIS LIKE YESTERDAY!!
optibotimus whaa... no way you like Lego...
Love LEGO. I don't do videos on them but i have several large pieces in my collection :)
That's awesome! I also love Transformers and Lego! (Some Lego themes)

And the "sea landing" part is fantastic.

I must say, this the most incredible set that I have built in 30 years. The technic they’ve use is amazing, and enjoyable. Sometimes big sets became repetitive during the construction, but not this one.

The Emerald Men Official really? Cool
Now that is truly amazing. The level of detail they gave to that rocket and every stage of the build easily lets you overlook some of the small design flaws that were needed to make the overall build work.
The fact they got exactly 1969 pieces is pretty cool
You can actually place the microfigs inside of the command module if you place them in there correctly. And you can put it back togheter too

just a correction . 6:02 its not called a escape module , its called a launch escape system or a life support system or a launch abort system
This is the first LEGO set, I've ever bought for myself as an adult, and I'm SOOO excited for it to arrive (it's backordered). Such a great model!
11:58 I'm pretty sure the flower pieces are supposed to represent the RCS thrusters of the command module which allowed the astronauts to maneuver the ship during docking and to turn it in the direction they needed.
i stooped buying Lego sets and really focused one the big ones and this is one that is worthy of my money
Just ordered for my grandsons birthday. I know he's gonna love this and I can teach him about the mission.
That's awesome, what a great gift Scott!
Scott Rensel let's just hope "the mission" wasn't a hoax 🤔
I got this yesterday. Was incredibly impressed how little technic parts were used. Just a few axles for the engines and the rest is all brick built!
Wow! I didn’t know that this included the docking of the CM to the LEM! Extremely detailed, and major props to the designers
The ting that stands out about the "jangbricks" reviews in general, it that he is articulate, informative, not obnoxious, but extremely entertaining. Moon Landing deniers will call it fake, and say that Lego is part of the conspiracy.
I'm very impressed with the size and the modeling. this build is definitely in my bucket list!
A very nice set, I wish I had the budget to afford it. Would make a great display piece.
LeinadTM I have the money (in my opinion it's super cheap- for lego that is) but I lack the space
But it would certainly make for a great display model
13:12 wait WHAT, I would have loved if they included a smaller Saturn V like the one in that pic, dang
Holy crap, that's awesome. Good work for the designers, especially on getting it to exactly 1969 pieces.
Being a fanboy of Science, Aerospace and LEGO.. I. Need. This.
It was a highly satisfying experience putting this model together. I think it's both visually and mechanically stunning, and I am happy to have it in my collection. I'd say, that the Saturn V is easily my highlight for 2017, even taking the merry-go-round and the anniversary modular building into account.
Lego outdid themselves yet again with this amazing set!
Sold out all most immediately! Went to the Lego store they sold out fast! What irritates me the most about that is the people buying them to try to make money off of the set when there are people who actually want the set to build and have fun looking at it.
Jonny Gear I know how it feels....
Jonny Gear By "making money" off the set do you mean scalping or... I'm not quite following.
DarktrooperDalek They resell it on ebay for twice the price.
DarktrooperDalek he means arbitrage. Reselling for a higher price than it was purchased for
outsider238 That's what I thought. I call it scalping, but that's probably not the correct term.
This is one of the sets that will make history. This is what Lego bricks are made for. I love it
You should make a clear acrylic box to put it in and hang the box above your city with a few fire pieces attached to the thrusters so it looks like its Taking off into space.
Hayden GamesForDays this is microfig scale, his city is minifig scale. It wouldn't look right, and he likes custom.
True
Building the Apollo 11 now with my youngest son. Got the kit for Christmas from a very good friend who is a massive, massive Lego-fan. I’m old enough to remember the Apollo missions and I love both the story and the 1969 (!) part build. So inventive and well thought out. Designed by true space fans! I’m 52, feeling like a boy again!
I didnt get it for Christmas, so I have to buy it myself. :(
ok
Best set lego has ever released. That being said, I made some changes. I used the command/service modules from set 7468. I also changed the escape tower to more easily be removed and, gasp, drilled a hole in the top of the cone pieces so the smaller more realistic nozzle would fit as it should.
can you show us this?
I love everything about this set. The references, the architecture, the complete printed pieces, the lander (despite fez booster), just everything.
Wow!
Aden Alvine yeah, slave 1 just has about a hundred more pieces, and it's 80$ more.
Dem Star Wars licensing costs...
Dude, this set is crazily awesome!
Also, I'm glad you got the parts to complete the grey Classic Space spaceman!
This was the first LEGO thing I ever built. I just started 1 week ago
Bro I built it in one night.
I got this for Christmas and it is my all time favorite LEGO set
Me too
Bought this on the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. Such a great detailed and complex set.
I just finished building mine. It's *AWESOME* !
Very cool Lego set, and a cool video of it. Everything you wanted to know about the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.
What an amazing set, at a great price, and a wonderful review. My son will love this. Thanks Jang!
I cut the box open at 2 p.m. and snapped the last piece into place at 10 p.m. with many breaks in between...
The technology behind this "toy" is amazing..!
BEST review of this set by far!
Been a viewer since 2014. Your reviews are always enjoyable to watch. Thank you!
Thanks so much for your support!
This set is wonderful! Hope Lego comes up with more set like this.
It's a LEGO Ideas set, which means a regular fan made it, not LEGO.
o, that's good to know but Lego probably have a say in it. They probably let this out because it works well with their other space theme sets. I wish we have some more classic movie sets like Neverending Story, or Gremlin sets (not in Lego Dimensions)
ToyzAlive Show There's a process, but that's decided by a fan vote.
That's great to know. Thanks John! Do you collect lego too?
Thanks for this awesome review! :)
Felix Stiessen I only have two words for you: thank you :)
I'm so excited to get mine and take a picture next to the Saturn V exhibit in Kennedy with the Lego model. You came up with an AMAZING set and I'm glad people are enjoying it as much as they can.
my son finished building this yesterday and he absolutely loves it.
I just got done building my space shuttle and it was 10 pieces
I like that you made a light gray classic spaceman that was shown for scale.

Excellent video, Very accurate description. You are obviously very excited about this model, which makes it fun to watch.
nice touch adding the music used in 2001 A Space Odyssey! :D
I watched from the Earth to the Moon while building this set. I love how it is to scale to the Space Shuttle set.
This will go down in lego history. Right up there with the Taj Mahal. This is incredible I might get it
JJAG3 same here. Its incredibly huge. it looks very awesome.
Oh my god, the music, 2001 a space odyssey, thank you. perfect.
Can't have space without Strauss :3
It’s one small step for man... one giant leap for legokind.
This is an amazing design and build! I'd love to see the moon-lander in mini figure scale. It would be interesting to see some of the details there.
Holy...what a gorgeous set. Shame I neither have the space or money for it. I'd love to put together a hanging display to show off the stages.
Finally got mine today, and the first thing I noticed is that it's massive, I only have the first stage done, and it alone is 16" tall.
1969 pieces ! I love that detail !
The giant box the set comes in is handy storage for moving the set once finished. Just break the ship down into its primary stages and it will fit almost perfectly back into the box.
I’m getting this on Monday... hyped!
Do you have it already?
Jacob Boi I have it now
I'm getting this on FRIDAY!!! and yes I'm hyped
Jang, you should build the moon under your Lego city if you have enough of those moon shaped base plates! I know it's from a set, but I forgot the series name. Everything was decked out in black and greenish-yellow though.
Blacktron! Thank you!
I bought this set yesterday and I've just finished building it and I must say it is an AMAZING set I highly recommend it
I think even someone who does not like Lego but likes space would love this, I have a lot of models (boats, planes, etc.) I have been on a break from Lego but I just needed this next to my model falcon 9 so bad
Blew my mind- all these details 😍
A parachute would be te cherry ontop 👌🏼
IMHO the greatest set of all time. Thanks for the complete and closeup review! To me it´s a bit of a shame though that so many extraordinary sets seem to derive from the ideas program and the licensed series which says something about the amount of creativity at LEGO. To be fair the architecture sets and the CREATOR Expert cars and modular buildings are also very desirable, but in recent times when I was enthusiastic about a new set it was most likely ideas.
I got it for my birthday and being so excited, I finished it in 3 hours
love the light grey classic astronaut Jangl.
I miss the TV videos a lot you were the only RUclipsr that made truly high quality videos!
Did you know in the apolo missions, it took the astranoughts 1 try to Dock with the liner module in earth orbit before heading to the moon. But in appolo 14,it took the pilot 6 trys to Dock up. This was due to a mechanical malfunction in the docking clamp on the command module.
Skylab 2 had the same issues. The Apollo 14 docking probe was refurbished and later reflown on Apollo-Soyuz.
I agree to what you say it has happened to me and fell but, I was able to fix it really fast. Also , it’s pronounced sturdy. :)
Just so you know, when you reviewed the lunar module, the little black piece was needed because it was the engine.
Ok, launching away... Now how do we move..?
7:35 - I totally agree. This part is great by itself.
This set is so detailed and has so much play value
