My Baby is Breech | Frank Breech Position: C-Section or ECV | Pregnancy Vlog

- My baby is breech, meaning, he is not head down, which is the safest way to deliver a baby vaginally. Instead, on recent ultrasound, we discovered that my baby is the frank breech position. His butt is down toward my cervix, and his head is under my ribs.
Having a breech baby generally means that there is a higher risk for delivery complications. Some OB providers will not even attempt to deliver a breech baby vaginally.
My OB provider has suggested two options:
1. ECV (external cephalic version), which is a process whereby the OB provider attempts to manually move the baby.
2. C-Section, also called Cesarean section, which is the process of delivering the baby via surgical incision.
In this video, I talk about what I plan to do, my experience, and more.

Try the Spinning Babies program! I’m trying to turn my breech baby too! (Pregnant L&D RN here!)
There are some movements that you can do to encourage the baby to turn. Look up "flipping babies" my mother and I are doulas and took this training. It's awesome
It may also be called spinning babies.
I pray that he flips on his own.omg.I am praying for your safe delivery
You are awesome Sarah! I have so much respect for you for your sincerity on your journey with your unborn child. May you and your baby be blessed and kept safe through the birth process, Amen.
I'll be praying for your family and that Baby RNRN flips for you! New grad RN here and I was successful in nursing school because of you. 💗
I remember advice I was given: wash the floors by hand (on all 4’s!) to help get baby in position. I don’t know, but can’t hurt to try! Wishing you healthy safe delivery. Thank you for sharing your journey. Your nursing videos helped me pass the LPN NCLEX- thank you! God bless!!
Safe delivery Sarah thank you for changing lives
No Worries! You still have a chance for your baby to turn. ❤ God bless Sarah

You look younger when you're pregnant. We'll pray for your baby to turn around. I had 3 CS with my 3 boys! Good luck to you and may God bless you as well 🙏 😊
youre going to make for an amazing mom!!!! wishing you a safe delivery !
Awwww hoping baby will be able to maneuver himself safely!
btw your hair loooks sooo beautiful and shiny!
Always a nurse, the way you present your lectures is really good, they are the knowledge that nurses need, why not make a book about it. I am also a nurse, male nurse and diabetes educator but still learning from your lectures. Thanks and wishing you well.
I'll be praying for you and will put you on my church's prayers. God have the control.
I wish all the best for you and the new baby!!!
Best of luck Sarah, my first child was normal delivery and my second was breached and I had an emergency csection, btw today I found out i passed my NCLEX, and I thank you for that!!!
Unrelated but Sarah you're glowing! Good luck with the remaining of your pregnancy
Thank you this really helps me lessen my negative thinking about my breech baby
I pray that you and your baby will be healthy!
Wish you the best I love your videos! So refreshing
I am sure you and your baby will both be great and healthy regardless if you end up with the vaginal vs. C section route. My maternity class these weeks has been focusing on all the pregnancy/delivery complications and they make me feel like things like nonselective c section are not the best but not terrible either in comparison. I can't believe you are already near term! It feels like your pregnancy announcement video was just yesterday! Congratulations again and can't wait to see your baby (if you are planning to show)! Best wishes!!!
Sarah you can also try chiropractic.....this worked for my daughter with NO pain or complications
Wishing you safe delivery dear Sarah 💕
We found out at 36 weeks that our daughter was breech. I was devastated because I was mentally prepared to have a vaginal delivery. I went into labor a few days before our scheduled c-section, so I got to experience several hours of labor before we had to have a c-section (because she was still in breech position). Like you, all I wanted was for her to get here safely. The spinal wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, and aside from our baby’s health, was my next biggest fear. You’re going to be great! Sending you lots of love ❤️
Impressive personality, voice and knowledge base.
God bless you and protect from corona.
I wish you a safe delivery
Praying for you! We all love you!
Congratulations on a second pregnancy, woman!!!!
Take it easy ... be safe and it would all work out... safe delivery ❤

Hello Serah This Is Shantanu From INDIA Your Active Subscriber Love You So Much and For Ben too Love From INDIA
Wishing u a safe delivery..
Thanks for this video ♥️ first time mama and my boy is in the frank breech position. I also don’t feel comfortable having an ECV. Praying he flips before my ultrasound to check his position in a couple weeks. I’m 35 weeks and 3 days.
Oh no, I hope your baby flips up on his own, if not C section would be the best option. You will be fine. I will pray for you to have good delivery. Love your family. God bless you.
Congratulations mam.. Alot of love from India 🇮🇳
I am praying for your and baby's safety and well-being.💞💞💞💞💞💞💞❤️

My wife have the same situation ,breech position
You will b fine, years ago my son was breech at the end, can you believe back then my gym put me out and turned him to the correct position, I’m sure they would not do that now.
Hey Sarah, do you have any video on delivering a breech presentation?
Hi there - thanks for the video. My wife is exactly in the same situation. 36 weeks + Frank Breech. Assuming you have delivered the baby based on the video upload date, curious to know if you baby flipped before delivery? Thanks for your answer!
Full watched and just dropped my support. Thank you for your suppor
God bless you
Continue trusting in the Lord that he flips on his own and that you have a safe delivery.
Dear Sarah! May God bless you and your baby and your family. Thank you for your help with these videos. I have passed my exam in Israel this month.Thank you for your prayers and I will pray for you to give birth safely. Shalom from Israel!
Only in America do they cut out breeched babies! It's sad... my baby is breeched and he can be delivered normally but nobody will assist. I'm tempted waiting to go to the hospital at all!
Postpartum nurse here - just wait and see, but yes, definitely a C-Section. The only thing that matters is a safe delivery for you and baby.
Can you help me with an advice 🙏. My wife is in 37 week now and the baby is in incomplete breech . The doctor said he is specialist in ECV and recommended that we try it . The point is it is our first 👶baby.
Thank you so much for the update. Your doctor does not deliver breach babies vaginal or you did not want that as an option? I am going to pray baby still might flip. I am a twin and my brother was born shoulder first vaginal delivery.
I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and my midwife gave me a position handout last week to read through. I'm a 3rd year student RN and this is baby no.3 for me. In the past I have had no complications and baby has been in the ideal "anterior" position. Baby is head down atm, but I've been warned just this week about positioning, due to it being more difficult to labour when the baby's is back-to-back, aka "posterior position". I was trying to find some current research on whether all this positioning information they give out actually has quality evidence behind it. Or rather is it just based purely on a old wives tale or a theory. Can you direct me to evidence on the success rate of positioning exercises and anterior position for birth? My thought's are what is the point in encouraging women to get on their hands and knees or to sit in uncomfortable positions, when we are already struggling in the last few weeks of pregnancy. My other thought was is their any link between babies position in previous pregnancies and babies position in current pregnancy. That is, the more normal vaginal deliveries with baby in anterior position, the more likely your future pregnancies will be vaginal deliveries in the anterior position. Or is every single delivery different no matter what your previous experience has been?
Keep you in prayer 🙏
Thanks alot
I will pray for you.
🙏🙏🙏🙏for a safe and healthy delivery
I'm the first one check in i love it
Had a section...was an adventure for sure. Especially since the spinal wore off about half way through.
Omg
Where I live there’s an amazing doctor. Her name is dr. Hollingsworth and she has a 100% success rate on eversions. With no complications. I work along side her as a labor and delivery nurse and it just amazes me how talented she is
How does she do it?
God will do a miracle, just believe in him. He has done it before and he will do it this time🙏
I have an accessory lobe, velamentous cord insertion and little girl is still Frank breech at 33 weeks. Also second baby, 6 years later, and first potential c section. Nervous but I hope whichever way she comes, she’s healthy and safe 💜
did your baby ever turn?
I really hope he flips for you! My baby was frank breech as well. ECV didn’t work because she was wedged down deep in my pelvis. Luckily the hospital i delivered at specialized in breech vaginal deliveries. I was so nervous but glad i trusted my doctors and went for it because it worked out fine and i avoided a c-section!!
He will flip back in JESUS NAME 🙏
Trusting the good Lord for a safe delivery.
I haven’t watched the whole video but you could put something cold on the top of the belly and hit on the bottom of your belly and it’ll encourage them to turn and move their head towards the hot surface
I had a ECV with my 5th child and it was not fun. I couldn't catch my breath and I had both a Doctor and midwife pushing on me at same time. It did end up working with some towels in place to discourage turning back. She was in distress and then was born sunny side up . I'm glad I did not have to C- section but given the chance again I probably would not have had a ECV.
Hey i am first year student of bsc nursing . Due to covid we are not that much in contact with teacher and clinical practice .. so can you please tell in which procedures should i master . Like super important procedures thet should learn throu RUclips ... Please help. 😥😇💖💖
I have a question. Is it safe to preform a ECV with an anterior placenta?
I also have MCI, I’m 36w and my baby has been breech/Frank breech since possibly before 29 weeks 😫 I’ve tried the positions and I can’t get her to move. They are talking about a ECV next week.
They tried to flip mind around and it was the most uncomfortable feeling! And it didn't work
Yay! We are aunties :-) :-)
Iam 36 weeks pregnant and yesturday i got my baby frank breech so pls pray for me.
I would like to write that my ECV was successful and it is worth trying in my opinion.
Did he flip?
I am in the same situation, i am 35 weeks he is breech and have cholestasis so I will have to be scheduled for a c section instead of in induction if he doesn't flip on his own, we also declined the ECV.
Same here !!! Im 34 weeks and he is breech. I hope he flips on time. I also
Have Cholestasis so I will be delivering early
I had my first child normal position But second was breech I was not offerd no csection at all so he was delivered that way and it was the most traumatic experience in my life...I still 30 years later cant understand why I didnt get a c section....
My baby is also in breech presentation plz pray for me I am 37 week pregnant . Praying he flips.
My baby has been breeched the whole time I’ve been pregnant. At my 36 week checkup they asked at the end if I had any questions and concerns. I asked, “ I’m no expert, since I’m a first time mom, but isn’t she supposed to be head down by now?” My OB looked at me and ask, “ you think she’s breeched?” I just looked at her, dumbfounded, “she has been the entire time.” I just had an ultrasound at 32 weeks and it says in all caps BREECH at the top of the first ultrasound. So she got her ultrasound out, and sure enough, she’s frank breeched. I have a ECV tomorrow to try to flip her. I’m almost 38 weeks right now
In Jesus Name 🙏 I hope he flips!!! Yes safe delivery!
Praying that he flips head down!
Have faith he will turn...dont claim failure ❤ he will turn in Jesus name and God will receive all the glory ❤
Usually babes will be breech at this time ...
In India . ...woman walk so much ....
They say baby moves to vertex position
Im 37 weeks now, just found out on 36 weeks that my baby is Frank breech,I'm scared for c-section ..my first was normal delivery
I am at my 40 weeks and there was still no sign of labor at all! Plus the baby is breech and I'm scared to undergo c-section.
Did u deliver safely
Josiah does what He wants lol
My baby is breach so they are gonna do another ultrasound and then if he is still breach they are gonna schedule a c-section I’m so nervous
I love u sarah
I’m 36 weeks 3 days today today was my appointment and baby still breech
Did he turned before the delivery?
C sections aren’t that bad especially when planned
Praying that baby flip himself. God bless you and your family.
